"Order" is such a misleading word. For us, it usually means PIZZA PARTY WOOHOO!

XD It's a sad day when the teacher gets something wrong...
But when I was in school, they had aids do the grading of tests? D:

=O What question in question...in...question...?
PostPosted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 6:46 pm

it was multiple choice:

'Which of the following causes sea-floor spreading?'

...the 2 answers I remember were:
-Mid-Ocean ridges
-continental drift

I chose continental drift, because it is essentially an early theory of plate tectonics, and therefore causes the seafloor to spread (plates move apart and...well...ya)

The teacher's answer was Mid-ocean ridges, because these are at the SITE of seafloor spreading.

HE WANTED THE CAUSE, NOT THE EFFIN LANDFORM!!! BAH HUMBUG UPON HIM
*rant over*

Hahahahahaha
XD
Well.
Hokay, that's kinda stupid.
Did you ask the teacher about that?
Back when I was in school, you got extra points if you caught the teacher in a slip-up.

nah...it happens so often I don't even bother

can you believe it? he actually refers to ionic compounds as 'molecules' xp

what a doof

XD That's... umm... scary? Who's supposed to be teaching if the teacher can't even get it right?
You know, I don't believe I know anyone with a small enough brain that would refer to iconic compounds as molecules.

oh well...its funny

besides, apart from the technicals, he gets the point across nicely (technicals are lost when he dumbs it down for everyone else gonk )

D:
Well...that's kinda what happens when you gots to dumb things down.

PostPosted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:10 pm

ya...maybe that's why I'm a perfectionist...I'm afraid that if I tell somebody something that was 'dumbed-down' and I don't know it, I'll have missed a critical piece of information that is very important

=o It's very possible.
In fact, it's what happens to most people, I'd think.

XD No one ever said perfection was a bad thing.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:19 pm

believe me...it's a curse. Especially when doing a project, the perfectionism takes over (usually) and insists that no mistake be left uncorrected. It then takes forever to do ANYTHING...especially in Art class

XD A curse it may be, but I like perfectionists. >D

...then again... I'm not one, so when I work with one all the mistakes get noticed, for one... and corrected.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:26 pm

meh, I could care less about YOUR mistakes (using the 'everybody but me' your) unless they're hilarious

ex- I got a nice chuckle when a 9th grader misspelled 'chemotherapy' as 'Kemo Therapy'

D:
Wait! What good is perfectionism if you don't correct ALL the mistakes?

XD That's...well. That's something else. I can totally see a little manga dude named Kemo going around giving people "therapy"... >_<
PostPosted: Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:35 pm

-serious-

well, people are always going to make mistakes...and usually don't fix them. I want to be one of those 'others' who does everything they can to fix their own mistakes, for lessons are best learned by example

-/serious-

ROFL! I need to use that in a comic

>___< Eeeevil little boy. EVIL.

XD I wanna see that. D: I was trying to decide what kind of 'therapy' he'd delve out... because it for sure wouldn't be the kind you get from your head doctor. D:
