how do you put a hit counter in a common thread
tried finding it online and this is what it gave me <!-- hitwebcounter Code START -->

Get the direct link to an counter that outputs as an image.
The first one I found should show up below this
But since it doesn't I'm guessing that the way it works is a way gaia disallows or something. But that being said the one you linked doesn't seem to work at all. You need to be able to view the counter as an image of some sort for there to be a chance you can use it.
This one at least at the time I posted this was working as an image if you click the link if that helps your search at all.
edit: I think Gaia's blocked just about every standard option, but if you can find one that actually makes a .jpg or .gif file to link to then it'll work. This old thing does after all

Yeah, that's what you'd want to use, in-between the [ img ][ /img ] tags. The most important thing is that the url provided by that generate link is broken. Try going to it yourself and you'll probably just see an error. Or better try using it in a custom webpage as intended.
But as you didn't see in my earlier attempt that isn't displaying anything, Image tags don't display anything but standard internet image files. Apparently Gaia's requires that the file be labeled as such. So in other words it doesn't work, find something else that does.

Haha, that sounds...fun? Maybe?
Not that much is happening at the moment, but I might be off for a few days.
There is a crazy windstorm happening here, and apparently a few transformers blew up on the other side of town causing half my town to lose power, looking like this side is next in line as the lights have been flickering sporadically for the past hour.
So, hopefully i'll be around, if not, i'll see you guys, hopefully again, in the next few days.

Well Guild formatting bar seems to be busted again, guess it's back to running off memory, lol.
Also, the one thing I'm most annoyed about living on campus, well besides the buggy as bleep wifi, is that there's barely enough laundry machines for the building, and yet when 3 other machines aren't even in use I'll find if I show up more then 3 minutes after the dryer or washer finishes, someone else has emptied my clothing onto the floor for me -.-

I'm really sorry, people.
I've been busy for school, and the problem is that I still will be.
Third Bachelor is nothing compared to the previous years, apparently.
Apart from school I now also have a part-time job and I have to search for a place to do my internship, which isn't so obvious for a comic-artist, apparently.
All my hobbies have been reduced to nothing since school started, and I fear Gaiaonline is one of them.
I don't know if I'll have enough time to continue this roleplay, so I really don't want to keep you from continuing.
You can go on without me.
