110 is correct. cant imagine weighing less than that as a fullgrown adult. xp I've often thought about dropping a few pounds, like ten. that probably would put me at a good in shape weight and trim my gut.

After the Battle of Kashyyyk.
Neb needs a crew to man the Kapella effectively, even though he can use it by himself, and the computer is slave rigged, it does much better with a full crew of five, though he only uses 3.
They also help him with the TSQ, as though he is the jedi and the expert, they are allowances to be assistants.
Its basically Neb's version of secretaries. You don't think one man can handle all teh responsibility of Neb's duties all by himself, do you?

You won't. Neb needs a command crew for his ship, and after teh padawans graduated, he needed replacements. That, along with people who he could trust and could serve useful in operations outside of simply flying the ship.
Hence, we have the ballistics and laser expert, Gunnie, who runs the analysises of many of the substances tested, and Hudson, the energy and defense specialist, otherwise known as "scopes" sometimes, like an unusual and not often used nickname.

They are New Republic Scientists whom Neb drafted. That, and Hudson is one of Neb's old buddies, as seen by their discussions that will be taking later on.
Its more complicated to explain now, but you see that Neb's past comes back strongly in SOTF. You'll discover the entirety of his past, and more specifically, what really was Neb like from birth up until 25, when he first got connected with the jedi.
Its to be revealed, but it will take timing that is appropriately made to accomplish.

ah. I see. hey interesting question-when I look around for Pic's of the DL-18, I get two different pictures, one is the same as the pic in OGG but the other is the pistol Luke pulls on Jabba, the "slaver Pistol." now, I own the Star Wars RPG's arms and equipment book and it shows a pic similar to what I have in the OGG as the DL-18, but the NEW guide to technology shows the slaver pistol as the DL-18. which one do you think is the "official" DL-18?

I don't remember luke pulling a pistol. You mean the one he reached for off the gammorrean?
And isn't the DL-18 heavily modifyable? who's to say that one cannot modify barrel length, pistol grip, etc?

Cale, don't discuss this one with me. I don't recognize star wars infantry rifles and pistols well. I haven't memorized them to heart, so I cannot say anything. Take it up with Nospai. He knows better than I.

no need to be sorry, I'm just saying you're arguing with someone whose area of expertise lies in economics, politics, realtime ballistics, aeronautics.
Even though I'm a weapons expert, I haven't studied the Star Wars universe weaponry that much. I know that blasters can't exist for a good 600 years in our universe alone.
I also know that a phaser is probably much more realistic than a blaster in terms of construction, along with the ability to use.
But as for the specifics of the rifles, I have no clue. Using them, I know, but identifying them, i don't.
Odd, isn't it?
