My band's guitarist actually does tattoos.
But he's, you know.. not licensed. Doesn't stop him from making hundreds of dollars extra every week because he's better than most of the licensed artists within a ~100 mile radius of where we live and he doesn't charge as much.
I'm pretty sure he's done tats in exchange for booze before. I've been trying to talk him into getting licensed, but I think he kinda hates doing them, they're just a source of income to help him afford more musical gadgetry like loads of effect pedals or new amp stacks.

I personally liked the design, just because there isn't some deep meaning it does not discredit how interesting the tattoo itself is.

King Bug YummyBiscuits Third generation marine corps over here, so the army isn't my thing. I live in Canada, so I think that kinda thing has less distinction over here. Or rather, there aren't any super well known groups like the Marines that people are all ready to hoo-haw over. When people talk about Canadian army stuff its always like Princess Patricia's and s**t like that. lol I hear Canadian army, and I think of gay dudes on horses.

It took me a while to worry about being licensed. I just didn't worry about it. Ended with me getting a shitty fine of like, 1000 bucks. My boss gets on me though, for charging to little. He keeps saying I should charge more for the s**t I'm pumping out, but I like the price. No one wants to spend a s**t ton on a tattoo, man. Detracts from the enjoyment/healing that tattoo's can provide a person.

The Female of the Species And that's why you guys wont really like it. There isn't any particular deep meaning behind it. Only one or two of mine have meaning, so no big deal, bruh.

We're out in the middle of ******** nowhere, so unless someone gets an infection he's not in any particular danger. But I think getting licensed would be good, because right now he basically works s**t hours of like 3 or 4 til midnight at some granite quarry, which doesn't leave him a lot of time for pursuing music. I think the hurdle for him is apprenticeship, since I guess it's required or something.
I might get a piece or two from him. I don't really feel one way or the other about tattoos though. They're cool, but at the same time I don't feel any particular urge to have them. Just kind of a take it or leave it thing, much like piercings. My ex has a dragon on her calf and hates it though, she's been saving up to get laser removal for a while.

I don't think I'll ever remove a tattoo, even if I hate it. They have meaning, deeper than just the artwork.

Lets see, Sigil asks for a judgement on something particular, loses the judgement, asks for a second judge's opinion, loses that.
I ask for a judgement, I get everything but what I actually asked for to begin with, judged, and inconsistently too.

Well, it was kinda pertinent. He was basically saying the pin is irrelevant because you wouldn't be landing in a position to initiate it to begin with.
That said, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the ruling.
Take-home message: don't call the judges unless you enjoy being shafted.

It is clearly a clever ploy on the part of Vintrict to encourage players to work together, because nearly any compromise the players will come up with will be better than the decision he metes out.
