She had not wanted to actually enter the fortress, it might make things more difficult. But as she was practically herded in, she supposed she would play along with it. Inside she was led to a dinning area, wihich housed more elves than she expected to see, as well as a drow. She did not take a seat, but bowed to all present. "I appologize for disturbing you during your dinner hour."
Raziel nearly choked. He knew that voice, and he didn't want to know it. He curled his wings around his face, and refused to look. If anything, just don't let him look..."I'ts not okay," he whispered. "Something is going to happen."

Daz carefully walked through his home land, a lush forest far away from deep water. It had taken weeks to get back.
Currently though he was looking for pups. Pups that had escaped the slavemasters. His eyes teared a little. There had been quite a few pups but many seemed to have been killed, to younge to survive a slave journey. But he had managed to find a few. So far there were four, currently following him at a slower pace, jumping beneath logs and behind trees. They were still scared of being caught an so they remained in there puppy forms.
Normally the pups wouldn't be able to do so, and they would look like half human half dog creatures, unable to change freely between forms until puberty. But as a defense mechanism they could become full pups, run and hide much easier. He was worried though, they had been in this state now for quite soem time, and shouldn't have been.
But he was now following another pup's scent. And sticking his nose inside a rotten log he promtly recieved a scratched and bleeding nose. He laughed deep in his throat. The bravest ones always servived. "Now now little Ori. Its only me." He said slowly and silently.
A black, wet nose popped out of the log and gave a quick sniff, it was then procceded by a little black head. Her eyes widened, "Uncle Daz?" The little pup asked. and when she looked around to see the other four pups sitting behind him, she jummped into his chest with everythign she had. The little girl pup had thought she had lost everything. She cried.
Daz patted her back with his large paw, and for a fifth time he felt nothing but bone. The pups had not yet had teachers for hunting, it hurt him inside to see them this way, but he didn't let them see it. "Now Ori we have some of the others here, and they should have some food for you." looking back to make sure the pups had not eatin everyhting, he took some rabbit from the closest one and gave it to Ori, who pounced on it. Once Ori was done. He looked at her and smiled. "Now Ori, we're all very happy your back with the pack but you know that your parents are gone." Ori nodded saddly. "I'm going to help you find another home but first, do you know where any of the others are?"
Eliot stretched her back slowly, adn then got up to feed Warren. She hated the way that sounded but lately it had become a chore. She dribbled water down his throat, and even managed a bit of cold spider mush (Aella had called it "patte" but it looked like mush to her) down his thoat. She stroked his hair efectionatly and hoped today, as she hoped every day, would be the day he opened his eyes. But her hope seemed to be routine lately, he had been out for so long she wondered if her heart would be lonely again.
She gave her neck a little crack and went downstares hopeing to find Aella around, maybe she could think of something to ease her troubled mind.

She bent, scratching at the open hole and making loud snuffling noises. Behind her stood two others, all three looking scruffy, wearing gang-like clothing and peircings. Weasil sneered. "They're gone, aint dey?"
"It's all cold by now." Skunk, the female of the group rolled her eyes. "We've been trakin 'im this long, and now 'e's gone. Buggah."
Worm, the quieter one, just growled.
Weasil folded his arms. "Fine den. We'll just keep lookin' for 'em. Like we've always done. Skunk, collapse the den, eh?"
Skunk bent again, reaching in the little burrow and collapsing the fragile ceiling. "Think any o dem pups made it down this far?"
Weasil chuckled. "If dey did, we'll find em."
Aella was sitting by the fire, mending a shirt. She wasn't all that good and thread and needle yet, but she was getting there. She had her hair down, and he staff perched against a chair. She smiled when Eliot came in. "Hey."
Warren felt something trickle down his throat and almost choked before he remebered that he could swallow. What the..? What was happening...
By the time he slit his eyes open, whoever had given him the water had left. He groaned a little bit, moving his sore muscles underneath the sheets. Why was he so stiff? It felt like he had been laying still for days!

Daz sighed. He had found a number of bodies in the forest, some old, and some newly dead. He had been to late for them and that hardened his heart a little. Considereing parent generally had litters of 3 and four each, ten pups where not a lot. But at least they had survived. He looked around the at the pups he had managed to resque. At the moment they were tearing at an elk he had jsut taken down, he would wait till they were full before he filled himself.
He looked over them and ran their names through his head. Adso, Kaida, and Jada were fighting over what looked to be an ear. He was glad the twin sisters had servived, Kaida and Jada were very bubbly and he would have missed them sorely. Ori of course, then there was Mik and Ben who where asleep. Zachadia was knawing a bone to large for him to fit his mouth around. Zell was hip deep in the stomach of the elk, as was Kuro. And last there was Jude, poking at a piece of meat a little uncertaintly. He was surpirsed ehrn he had found Jude, or to be correct, when Jude had found him. He had been hit on the side of the head when the pup jumped out of no weat. In fact Jude was a runt, and runts tended to be picked off. But he had shown all the trength and determination of the strongest of the lot, who was Ori.
Once the pups had all backed off Daz sat down and ate his fill. He was sorry they couldn't bring the meat with them but it would way them down. He would hunt, and teach them to hunt on there way to deep water. there he hoped to find homes for them. Once he finished he let the pups sleep for a time, then woke them up to contunue there journey, leaving the elk cracuss for scavangers.
Eliot smiled, "Hey! You look pretty good with your hair down you know?" She came and sat beside her to better watch the needle work. She wasn't so bad and could give Aella pointers on the way if she needed it. "Your work is improving!" eliot was proud and she beemed, "Look your stiches have more consistancy!"

Aella smiled. "Thanks. I don't like it down too often though. It gets in the way." She looked at her stiching and blushed a little bit. It was kind of fun, being able to look after her own things like this. She got quite though. "So how is Warren doing?"
Warren groaned as he sat up a bit, found that his arms were hardly strong enough to even hold him up. His eyes were blurry, and he couldn't see where he was. Was he in the castle or the hooded man's keep? he couldn't tell. She smacked his lips, realizing then how hungry he was.
"So what den? We just wait aroun' till dem pups show up?" Skunk was as restless as the others.
"We gotsta be patient, Skunk." Said Weasil. "We be biddn' our time, see? Pups take no effort ta take out. We wanna savore da moment."

Eliot's heart sank a little. "he strirred again when i gave hime water adn that spider mush, but no change it seems so far. Its starting to feel bad." She hung her head a little.
Daz and hte pups kept up a brisk pace, they had been heading back a couple of days now bu the going was slow. The pups tended to play a lot as pups do, and he had ten to watch for on his own. He loved pups but his head was pounding. "Now now. every one together. Ori! I said enough, Mik is trying to be good and your only provokin ghim! Kaida! Jada! I told you to stay with the group!" He growled a little when Adso bit his paw on one of his numeroue pounces, it was starting to get raw. He was so distracted with the pups he hadn't been paying much ettention to his surroundings.

Piper did indeed take that gesture, pushign up from her chair and walking over to stand close to Malik. Well that soothed her worries a bit, but still...elven bred paranoia ran strong with her. And she particularly didn't like the vibe that was happening in the room from everyone. A look to mentioned quest, studying a moment perhaps.
Fianna blinked lightly and held Raziel a little more protectively, giving a glance to the woman and then to Kieran. Well...this would be interesting. She watched a certain look overcome Kieran...spoke of all business and little in sencere friendlyness.
Kieran had indeed gone serious on them all, turning on his boot heel to face this woman. Clasping his hands behind his back and gave her a long look. "Dinner was just finished." Quiet again and watching her a moment. "So then...speak of this mentioned business."

Zahara ran over a few choice words for Malik in her head but finally said, "As if I would tell you anything. You insult me and then expect my help, so like a man." She glanced at the visitor through narrowed eyes, so Malik had thought her safe to enter into his private domain. Time would whether she meant any harm or not. She merely inclined her head in greeting to the visitor and tapped her nails on the table, taking on a bored and indifferent expression. Her violet eyes were narrowed shrewdly and she was watching every move the woman made ready to defend at any moment. It wasn't in the Drow temperament to trust.

"You better, or if something happens due to your refusal to give important information, it's you I'm holding responsible. and you think I'm unpleasent now, just wait till that occurs."
Other than that, he put an arm aroudn Piper's waist, and ran hsi hand through her hair a bit in that 'see, I'm fine' gesture. he knew how ancy she'd gotten.

Weasil sniffed the air. "You smell dat?" His two comrades sniffed as well, leerish grins spreading across their faces. They did indeed smell that.
Skunk patted down the claok around her hips. Very much the sexual creature, Skunk enjoyed hunting as a sexual sport. Hell, anything was a sexual sport with her. Weasil and Worm starred openlt, and Skunk liked it. Thye took a moment to form a plan of attack, and headed out over the smell.
Aella patted her freind on the back. "Just give it time. He's been through things you and I can only imagine. His mind needs to heal, as well as his body." Didn't she know it. She grew a bit sad. "Some things may never heal."
He stumbled to his feet, almost falling back into the bed several times. Where were his robes? Wait a moment, where was Bode? Wasn't he with...he looked around, still dazed. This didn't look like the dungeon. He grabbed a sheet, wrapped it around his waist, and tried to find the way out without falling over.
Raziel actually grabbed Fiana's fingers and pulled them in front of his face. He didn't want to see the visitor, and he didn't want the visitor to see him. Maybe she'd go away, maybe she wouldn't notice he was there. Why was he so frightened.
The visitor scanned Kieran, being quite open about it, even giving a slight smile. "Very well then, sir elf. I have come in retrival of some property of mine." She made a gesture with one hand, which sparkled with jewled rings, towards Fainna', who's hands looked as if they were winged.
She turned her attention on Zahara and smiled almost lurredly.

Fianna oblidged him, cupping her hands around him much like Kieran had. Well he was getting even worse off, now wasn't he? A little worried look down to Raziel then a look back up Kieran and thier new visitor. This was certinally going to be interesting.
An arm around Malik as well, giving a look up to him with a little nod. He was back in one piece...but the cat had dragged something back in with him, now hadn't he. As Kieran had said...sometimes the danger was withing the walls, not without. Nope, still paranoid.
He merely looked to where she gestured then back to her and raised his eyebrows at her. "Property? I'm afraid I have no property of yours at all...you're sorely mistaken I apologize that you had to come out all this way for nothing." No he wasn't playign stupid and he did know what she was talking about...he merely didn't view Raziel as property and wouldn't dare consider him as such.

She raised an eyebrow at the woman, no woman should flaunt herself that much. Even the drow had better taste than that and they had no couth. Too many rings, she certainly displayed her wealth...didn't she? Immediate distrust. Someone flaunting that much usually had something to hide. Contrary to what most think, someone who puts it all out there is hiding something. The flaunting is merely a device to take the attention off what the person in question might be hiding. She licked her lips and glanced at Malik, "Do you really think that if I know something that might save my skin as well as those in this room I do care about, I would fail to act? Malik, you are not the only one here who can defend yourself. Of course if it comes to your fate and yours alone, well...I may help you and I may not. We'll just have to see now won't we?"Zahara chose to say nothing to the visitor. She didn't want her to know she could speak common.

Daz suddenly stopped short. The air had brought something to his nostrels. He knew though, that the scent was far to strong for his liking. The pups, sencing the change in attituted gathered around Daz's feet. He's eyes widened and to late he saw the three jackels running towards him
"Run!" He barked to the pups. and hoping they were smart enough to get out of the way, he scooped up whoever was closest in his jaws and tossed them every which way. the pups broke off in twos and three's, dissappearing as fast as they could. Daz went after the closest jackle.
Eliot's ears perked, and then her heart was racing. "Something is moving upstares!" she cried, and took off at a run for the steps. She ran into Warren almost at the top of them and she though her heart had burst. "He's awake!" SHe yelled, even though she was sure Aella was right behind her. Warren stumbled and as small as she was Warren was so skinny she was able to support him easily enough.
"Just Hould on Wharren, youhr not strong enough yet to be whalking, coume on to the bed." She knew her accent was comign through liek crazy, but she was so happy.

Malik had a different impression than Zahara. of course, Malik knew more about humans and thier magic. weaker than most spell casting races, they relied far more heavily on talismans and magical items. what Zahara was seeing as showing off weath, Malik was seeing as display of temporal power. Each ring, moved inthe light just right to glitter as her hand moved, was a show of potential force. displaying magical items that coudl be called into play.
which of course begged the question, was she preparing herself to try and take the familiar by force? or was she bluffing and trying to use the threat of force to tip the scales to her favor?

She smiled. Perhaps she knew what that drow woman was thinking, and perhaps not. If she was who she said she was, which she had not, then it might be understandable why she falunted. Beside, all of her ilk had something to hide. Or maybe she was not powerful, and was hiding that fact. Or maybe she was not any of these things.
She smiled again. "Yes, Property. Raziel is the property of the Wizen family."
Raziel capped his one hands over his ears and cruled up in a tight, protective little ball.
Oh now, what sport was this! they were all running. Skunk running bent at the waist like a dog, immideatly pulled away from ehr fellows and ran after the pups. Weasil and Worm ahd eyes only for the big wolf.
"Big Daddy wolf!" Yelled weasily in a taunting high pitched laugh. The two were also running on all fours, claws digging into the dirt with ease. They could not transform like their quarry, but they could fight no less.
Warran "oofed!" when Eliot ran itno him, and stumbled. He was more or less surprised "E-eliot? What's going on?" He couldn't beleive he was light enough to be carried by the short wolf-girl. He was so stiff, it hurt to wlak. but he didn't want to go back to that bed either. "Where is Bode? Where are we know?" Still very confused indeed.
