Cerris was still on a high from winning the Revanant that he hadn't even noticed that a wispy figure had started to follow him. He was playing with his new familiar, distracted by how awesome it was when he finally caught sight of it. He tilted his head, not sure what to think at first but it wasn't going to leave him alone. Did that mean he had gotten two familiars?!
Anora was the first to notice the wisp hanging around her son. She just smiled and giggled to herself, it seemed he had a lot of luck lately! Maybe that meant things would finally turn around for him?
Sasori was happy that the two of them had managed to come out to the festival. Sasori had decided to dress up like Little Bo Peep, a cute little outfit that fit perfectly with their aesthetics. They had wanted to dress up one of their familiars as a sheep, but all of them had protested at the little costume they had picked out. Oh well, they knew they'd be cute even without a sheep.
This was the first time Sariya had really visited the grounds since Sasori had enrolled at the school. She approached the entrance with Sasori and managed to pick out a cute little bucket that already had a lollipop inside. She was glad that Sasori wasn't a major sugar fiend or this could be a problem already.
Cass knew he had arrived kind of late, which wasn't like him at all. He was a bit surprised to see that there were still plenty of buckets, however, his had this ugly turnip in it. He about wanted to toss it away, but he couldn't find a trash can, so he just let it be, for now.
Arari was pretty excited about the event since they had never been to one before! They managed to grab a cute little purple bucket and it even had a little bracelet inside! It was a great start, they couldn't wait to see what else they could get!
{6} As the night went on clove grew more and more, excited, he wanted to do a lot of things, some he couldn't do because he was too young, but hanging with his friends and getting candy or even some the tricks, was just as fun. clove looked down into his bucket after stopping at the next house, he notice that not only did he get something sweet, he got something else along with it, which he proceeded, to hug and squeeze.
{17} Corey was again very slow getting up to the house, even though they saw clove move over to the side they slowly walked up to the house. As soon as they got there and got their items, they walked over to clove and looked in there bucket, pulling out something weird, Corey of course sniffed it, then looked at it and made a disgusted face as they poked it and let it jiggle in the palm of their hand.
{4} Meena hoped that this house was going to be a little nicer, not once had she gotten some candy but everyone of her friend at least got some candy in some way. Holding up her bucket and saying trick or treat she closed her eyes, and gulped she really wanted something sweet too, even if it was weird and gross like what corey got. Meena heard the clunk of something falling into her bucket, she opened her eyes said thank you and wandered over to where corey and clove were waiting, and again she looked down in her bucket.
{15} Galathe stepped forward after Meena left the front stoop of the house, she was happy Meena finally got some candy, and it wasn't weird candy either. Galathe stepped up and said trick or treat, holding her bucket up she smiled sweetly, and said thank you as soon as she heard something drop in her bucket, though as soon as she stoped long enough she noticed something else was peeking out of her bucket.
"I'm sorry some kid thought that was an okay prank. Some of the people here are so rude...or maybe just hyped up on sugar and not thinking straight." Thomas gave Sidhe another hug and handed her a cute little bracelet he'd found dangling on his pail. "This is a much better hallows gift!" He didn't have one for Kahlil yet, but Thomas was going to keep his eyes open for the perfect thing.
"I'd love to go to a haunted house!" Thomas had a daring streak in him a mile long (hence the eyepatch) but he wouldn't push for the scariest one ever. He knew his people a little too well for that. Thomas grinned at his best friends and loves. "I promise to protect you from any ghosts and ghouls."

"I understand, and it's only natural to worry about your kids." Tempo replied with a smile. "But kids make their friends in their own time; some are popular right off the bat, others tend to cling to family a bit longer. And, like you said, they've been through a lot." Tempo really couldn't do more than the 'all in due time' spiel, kids will behave how they want and adults will worry about them, nothing was going to change that. Tempo put a supportive hand on Yami's arm and smiled at him soothingly.
Suddenly, Yami stepped in front of her to protect her from...a dreaded nezu-plush. Tempo giggled. "My hero!" She said, before returning to the subject. "I'm totally up for some unhealthy, but delicious, food. I'm craving a candy apple like you wouldn't believe."

Thayne bounded through the entrance to the festival so fast, the boy almost forgot his pail. They were allowed to go off on their own this year! And he really wanted to hang out with Layren! Thayne didn't really pay attention to where he was charging, and a trickster barely had time to drop a nasty turnip and a plush in the Bapho's pail. He wondered if the Grimm hybrid was even here yet, and what he was dressed as...if he was dressed up at all. Thayne was currently sporting a witch costume, complete with big, floppy black hat that kept falling in his eyes.
Zima entered the Haunted Hallows event and accepted his free pail and some candy. This wasn't anything like the festival on the West Continent, for one thing, there was a hodgepodge of races here. For another, Geists just did it better. They had better costumes, and better decorations, and better candy and...and the West Continent was just better. Determined to not enjoy the festival, no matter what his parents said, Zima headed sullenly down the road to trick or treat. The candy may be better back home, but free candy was free candy and a freshling is a freshling.
Thayne had taken off right away, the Bapho was completely twitterpated with some boy he'd met. Well, that wasn't too bad, honestly, Thayne could be a handful even for someone as active as her. She didn't mind sharing all that boundless energy. Anastara went up to the next house and smiled. "Trick or treat!" The person dropped something heavy in her pail. A rock? Seriously? Anastara shot the guy a look and he laughed at her, telling her that she did say trick or treat. Another bemused look from the Grimm pup and the guy relented, handing her a plush to go along with her rock. Ana was a world class starer-downer.
Julie walked in with Evelyn and grabbed a pail and some candy. The Grimm girl was excited for her first Haunted Hallows event and had spent a ton of time on her costume. She was a vampire witch princess with a gorgeous gown, long fangs, and a wicked witch hat to top it all off. She had made the costume from left over fabric and some odds and ends she'd found in her dorm. Julie had even made Evelyn's costume too. "This is going to be so fun, Evelyn!"
Evelyn nodded, accepted her pail and looked inside to see what she got. Ugh! it was a scary doll! Evelyn dropped the pail and backed away from it, tripping over a box. The box made an irritated noise. Julie asked if she was okay, but Evelyn ignored her in favor of looking inside the noisy box. A Vespercat! "Julie! Come here! Look what I found!" Evelyn picked up the cat, not even realizing that it was mutated. "Good kitty."
Aurora blinked holding the fake eye, this was certainly a strange thing to come across. Oh well, maybe she would find something better another day. Aurora sighed, she wished she could find a book stand at the festival but she hadn't found one yet.
Akiutaki put on some gel before leaving his place then he headed out to check out the festival. Akiu hadn't never been to a Hallow's eve festival before and was rather curious to see what he would find there. He decided to play a game of whack the ghost and ended up losing badly, only getting a score of 10. Akiu frowned and wrinkled his nose, he was then given a bottle of green goo as a consolation prize. Certainly not something he wanted to rub on his skin to keep him damp. Akiu shrugged and put the weird bottle of goo in his pocket, after all it was his first prize from the festival even if it was a trick.
Yunia continued on her little exploration around the festival, still a little uncomfortable with being around so many others. She did manage to get a candy apple, then stood back watching others move through the festival. Eating her candy apple.
Kyleigh yawned; she wasn't one for too much festival'ing, even for one as fun as this one was. She paused at a candy stall and bought herself a quickly melting candy bat. She thought she would try one more stall before going home.

Bibiana pouted at the rock she'd won from her last trip to a trick or treat booth. It wasn't even a pretty rock. She huffed a bit, but slipped the rock in her bucket again. Maybe next time would be better.

Sid grabbed what looked like cold cola off a table and paid for it. He was super thirsty, but the cola inside was bitter and he made a face as he drank it. A plush was thrown at his back and he laughed. Hot pink. Sweet~

When given the chance, Tamandani liked to indulge in candy corn and this year was no different. She watched the girls as they began to grow tired and picked up a bag of the sweet treat and popped a few pieces in her mouth. "Alright girls, one more game and then it's time to go."
Crux pouted a little but she knew Maylis was getting tired. "Okaaayyy," she sighed as she cuddled her newest plush.

Today Naosu had her son on a leash around his waist to keep him from running off the way he had the day before. Ichiru seemed to be amused by the contraption, though it was a bit embarrassing to Naosu that she felt it necessary and hoped none of the other parents around were thinking too harshly of her. They didn't know the mischief of her son.
She led Ichiru and a far less worrying Essei around to collect treats, in good spirits even though she had to worry about her son. It would certainly be nice to find someone to bring into her life and help her keep an eye on him.
Essei followed her sister and held out her bucket, though she had an eye on Ichiru who seemed to be sneakily trying to get out of the leash without his mother noticing. She was distracted from Ichiru when something was put in her bucket. Eeew! What was that?! Tricked twice in a row! Even though a vespercat had come home with her yesterday she found herself sniffling. She just wanted some candy! It seemed the tricker felt bad though, since as soon as they noticed she was upset they offered her a plushie. It wasn't candy, but at least it was soft.
Ichiru held his pail out for a trick or treat with one hand while he tried to undo the leash around his waist with the other. Though he knew his mother worried, she needed to know what a waste of time it was to try to actually restrain him somehow. Besides, it wasn't as if anything was going to happen to him and there was so much he wanted to see!
He looked at Essei when she started sniffling and blew his cheeks out. She kept getting cool things and was upset about it. At this rate he was just gonna trade her all his stuff so he could have the cool stuff she kept getting--well she could keep her vespercat and plushie of course, he wasn't totally greedy. Maybe he'd keep this cool necklace he'd just gotten too. She could just have the rest of his candy or something. He just wished he knew why she got so upset over cool stuff.
Had...had someone just thrown poo in his pail?! Tobias prodded it warily and determined it was actually candy, but wow that was nasty. What even? He wasn't sure he wanted to eat that.
