Sonic heard Jewel shouted and kicked at Shadow, knocking him down. The blue hedgehog watch at the devastation caused by Shadow. He growled, "So...this is all you do for a living? Just hurting others?!" He clenched his fists and his fur got dark, "You got guts... I'll give you that." A black aura formed around him, "F-For someone who was meant to protect us to begin with..."
Shadow stared at Sonic as he stood up, "..."
Rotor gasped, "Jewel, we have to get out!"

jewel shivers " to scared....to move...." jewle said changing to normal having her hands on her ears " I can still hear the screams ..."

"We have to leave! Sonic is in his dark form and he will go out of control!" Rotor shouted, pulling Jewel.
Suddenly, Shadow was thrown right next to Jewel, knocking down trees and destroying everything around him, "Kgh!"
Dark Sonic was walking towards Shadow in attempt to punch him.

jewel blinks opening her eyes looking at shadow while rotor is trying to get her to her feet" s-stop it... where does fighting get people...." jewel shivers getting to her feet and moving infront of shadow, her legs are shivering " stop it..... p-please... this beauitiful place is now up in flames... because of you two..." jewel sniffles

"Ngh..." Shadow tries to get up. He was injured and his wound he had before from the slaves is bleeding once again. He was shocked when Jewel stood in front of him.
Sonic stood, staring at Jewel then at the area around them which is literally in flames.

jewel continues to shiver standing her ground " look around you two did this! not eggman and his robots, but the both of you did this..." jewel sniffles a little " now there is no place that is beautiful, everything is just some waist land!" jewel frowns holding back her tears

Shadow looked around and frowned. Ever since Eggman took over, he protected this land but now it is all ruined because of him. He looked down and sighed.
Sonic finally calmed down and stares at Shadow, "You know... everyone will die... and your purpose of existing will have no meaning anymore if that happens..."

jewel rubs her eyes starting to cry " I'm not sure if this place will ever regrow back to the way it was....." jewle sniffles and starts coughing as she looks around at the flames watching the trees and plants burn

Rotor stood up and shouted at the rest, "You heard her! Put out the fire! Go quickly!"
"..." Shadow starts to get up but he was still hurt and feeling a bit numb as well from being paralyzed.
"Don't think we're letting you go..." Sonic said, "We knew you would come here. So if you think Chaos Control would get you out, you're wrong."
Shadow stood tall, "I've already have made my choice..."

jewel changes into a wolf and barks at them " Shut up and put out the fire's before everythign is lost" jewle said seeing a little a little ember starting as she kicks dirt at it trying to burry it in the dirt

"......" Both hedgehogs stared at Jewel and nodded. They then ran to the lake and got buckets of water to put out the fire.

jewel blinks as she stays back form the flames frowning " most of the green is gone.... all those flowers...." jewel frowns changing back to normal looking at the now burt ground

After a good 15 minutes, the fire was put out. Everyone cheered after knowing they saved the rest of the vegetation that was left. Shadow, though, was upset that he didn't do as he promised himself to do, protect this land which is now ruined.

jewel is sitting on the ground with her ears down looking at the chard ground not celibrating with the rest of the people shes poking a dead dasiy with her finger

Shadow just started to leave, "Let's go." He said to Jewel.
"She's not going anywhere." Sonic said.
Shadow glared at Sonic, "She is."
"Nope. She's free now and you have no right to take her no more." Sonic crossed his arms.
