((Elias is downstairs with Mark and Karin and Aura are upstairs though sad Did you mean to say it's Elisa? (I just realized how confusing those names would be o.O Should we just call them Ellasyn and Elijah? >_<) Lyrica would have to control Elisa though razz Or it could be Mr. or Mrs. Gilfax? Or the governess? Um...a puppet? Another kidnapper? Sorry Yuki, I have no idea either....))

Karin could feel her arm cramping from raising it for so long, still not able to distinguish if the thing was friend of foe, she deftly popped open the gun and exchanged the bullet with a tranquilizer. The thing was starting to move toward them. Karin lifted the gun and fired in the same movement, it hit where she wanted it to hit, right below the shoulder. The thing crumpled with a dull thud, after a few moments, Karin pulled out her flashlight and shined it on where she thought the thing's head was.

"Just to see if we can find anything," Elias replied, turning on the lights in the servant's quarters.
He walked around, moving stuff around, looking for stuff that would be useful in making a base of some sort. "Mark," he said finally, throwing a few rolls of duct tape into a pile of random things such as cleaning spray and rags.
"I know you said you don't know anything, but can you remember nothing?"

"Could you tell me a little please?" Elias almost begged. "You see, the idea started out as a Halloween prank, and only with Elisa and me gone and the 'kidnappers' armed with nerf guns and ski masks. But this..."-- he kicked a locked cabinet before moving on to searching through the racks in guilt-- "this isn't a joke anymore."
He turned to Mark seriously. "I need to know who's behind this. Please."

"Is it...dead?" Aura asked after she saw Karin approach it. "Or did you just knock him out?"
Why can't we get from downstairs to guest room to study without having something completely drastic happen?
She stood behind Karin, partially in fright, but more so that she would not be in Karin's way of anything.

Mark sighed. "Ok, if this is what you wanted to ask me, I'm leavng." He said as he turned his back and walked back to the room Alex was in.
Alex slowly got to her feet and was standing, when Mark entered.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"

"It's just knocked out." Karin whispered back to Aura, "I actually don't think it's a person. Help me get the funny looking headdress off." Keeping a dagger ready just in case, Karin approached the prostrate figure and tugged at the wooden box she had identified acting as the creature's "head". In the process, Karin had dropped the metal container but by the time she remembered it, it had vanished. All that was left was a hole in the floor where it used to be. Unease washed over Karin, someone was trailing them, her suspicions were confirmed when she felt something wet and sticky-blood.
