Abby came out from her hiding spot. She hadn't meant to intrude on their moment. She felt a twinge of envy towards Scarlet.

Scarlet ran past Abby and straight into the bathroom. She locked the door and sat down in front of it. Pulling her legs up to her head she sobbed into them. After a few minutes she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror, and started crying down from the sink. She was a total wreak and slammed her hand into the wall. "Damn them both. Damn the world to pieces, and my brother along with it!" Her hand made contact with the mirror.
((It litterally drew me to tears to write that! crying ))

Abby looked up and ran after her. "Hey wait a sec...Scarlet!" she took out her wand. "Alohomora. Hey..what's wrong?" She started walking towards her.

"Everything is messed up." Scarlet remarked. "I'm confused so badly about everything. Either way I'm going to end up loosing someone precious to me." Her hand was bleeding by this point but she stuck it in her robe pocket trying to get her tears to stop. The bathroom was begining to look like a mess now. "s**t I really f***'d over this place."

She silently took her hand and examined it. "You wont lose anyone dear to you." she reassured waving her wand around, cleaning up the bathroom. "Now lets take a look at that hand of yours. While I get the first aid kit, do you mind telling me in a nutshell what happened?"

Scarlet tried to compose herself, and leaned against the tile on the bathroom wall, while she looked at it. "Glare told me my best friend from childhood had a crush on me. I didn't believe it. So I asked him, and he wouldn't respond. But that look in his eyes said it all." She caught her tears in her eyes before they fell. "I was so blind, or maybe I just didn't want to see it."
((In basicity...Glare told her that Riley had the hots for her. She couldn't believe it so she asked Riley and he told her that he did love her. And now she's confused. Because Glare feels jelous over him...))

She took a cotton swab and wet it with disinfectant before dabbing it at Scarlet's cuts. "So that is a problem..however I must say that it wasn't Glare's place to tell you that.If he thought he was helping you, then it failed. How do you feel about your friend?" she asked still dabbing it.

"Confused, angry, stupid...something along those lines." Scarlet drawled. "I value both of them and can't imagine being without either." She sucked in a breath for minute, and then let go. "You sound like a therapest you know?"

She chuckled as she wrapped a gauze around her hand."Well..just because he likes you doesn't mean you are obligated to go to him. He has to understand that you're with Glare. I think he does..and he should respect that...besides..what kind of friend makes you choose? Glare just needs to shut up sometimes..I swear I've been wanting to kick his a** for some time now and he just gave me a reason to do it. No idiot messes with my friends and gets away with it. Especially the ones I want to be related to me." She put everything back into the kit and looked at her before giving her a hug. "Don't hurt yourself over it anymore. It's not your fault. I know it's hard for you...but they're both being asses...Glare more than the other I'm afraid." she got up and left the room with the first aid kit in hand and returned with a two glasses of milk and treats floating behind her. "It usually cheers me up." she said with a small smile. "I'll have a little talk with Glare later. But for now..eat up."

She picked up her hand and flexed it around a bit. "I'll try not to. I'm not use to having a safety net to run to." She grabbed the cup with her left hand as if was natural. "Pays to be ambidextrious." She lifted it up and took a sip of it and looked up at her. "Thank you for putting up with me being characteristically un-Slytherin as of late."

"Nah think nothing of it. You want to be sad then be sad. I'll be here with you to tough it out. Then when you feel better we can pig out on sweets." she grinned sitting indian style next to her.

"They're my weakness...well that and french fries..hell I like everything if it tastes good." she said reaching for a cookie. "I dont admit it but sometimes I do wish I could get along with my sisters like I do with you. But that wont happen until I move out and get my own place."

"I wish that at least I'd had someone like you to run to when I was growing up." She remarked blushing a bit. "Sure I had Riley but you know you can only talk so much to guy without noticing that he misses the point entirely."
