Again, just to reclarify, Kaiori started this whole mess at the Twice Royal! Griffin can't get pissy, 'cause his mommy started the whole fight that may just bring down his tower!

Ceres, actually. And it's kinda arguably your fault for the whole mess xp

Not in the least bit! The security team was taking completely normal precautionary measures for a high ranking official to enter unfriendly territory. Kai's, or Ceres who ever, unprovoked attack has the potential to bring about catastrophic results, and if not for KB's intermingling would be well on the way to unfurling.

Completely normal precautionary measures? Wouldn't that include a formal announcement to at the very least the leader of Twice Royal that there was a 'high ranking official' coming to visit? If the T-2 units could see like it was the middle of day, you'd think someone would realize that maybe you aren't quite welcome if everyone is evacuating to shelters and there are two armed helicopters coming at you.

And unprovoked? You mean more than a dozen machines of war that have been frustratingly sitting on the outskirts of Twice Royal for months suddenly activating and closing on the city in the dead of night (if I remember the time correctly) isn't provoking?

Admiral Teg isn't much for politics is he now....

Oh hell no he isn't. KB is the mind, too much political mumbo-jumbo is a complete waste of time. After all, why would you want to negotiate with someone who has little to nothing to offer you and you clearly have the upper hand? Any enemy spared adds to the army that will eventually pull you down. Tegral's just the brute strength behind his little endeavors.

As for announcing his arrival? Why would I need to do that? Tegral thinks of himself as an omni-power within the Black Company, a force of infinite reckoning. Self induced delusions of grandeur and what not, because honestly! If you had the power to reach out and call on a orbital satellite to reach down and rain death on your foes, or summon an army of cybertronic minions with about as much destructive force of a tank, why in the seven hells would you worry about being formal and kind to those beneath you?

Another foot note is the fact that the T-2's are relatively stupid. I made mention of it in one of my posts about slave computers only doing what they're told.

Now now Tegral, no need to fret. If KB were actively engaged in the matter he'd see to decomissioning Tegral and his staff, swiftly. The Ninja was merely a gift to Kai, something to give her a bit of an edge in case anyone (Including KB) tried to get pushy.

=)

Like I said, Ceres will likely be returning in a ziploc bag anyway, just intact enough to revive herself on the blood of others. He dignity comes very far after her relative safety, or her sex-binges. xp

You could dismiss Tegral and his units, but none of them would go quietly KB. And with a fairly sizable borg garrison aboard the Cradle, not to mention the army stationed down on the planet near the Grave, any sort of hostile actions taken by KB to the Admiral would result in a less than pleasant show of arms. And I'm still waiting for Kai to post.

Well, that's going to make dating Kai a bit... tricky.

Fine, no assassination attempts.

If there's dinner though, I think KB should be allowed to spook someone and have them roll percentile dice on choking to death. xp

Since some of the guests do not eat, having a large dinner would be lost on them. My character for instance drinks far more than he eats so, I think that a constant flow of food and alcohol will do fine. Perhaps a buffet style would work out yes? Ice sculptures on the tables, punch bowls, appetizers, some main course dishes or side dishes, salads, desserts, random party foods. Anything you find at ritzy banquets.

How does this sound?

You-- are jello/jello-like? I must have missed something. A read back is required for this.

On a off note, I see this is post 49300 of the thread.

Sounds like there will be all the more that will likely get trashed when the Than/KB fight gets a little wild.

Mastema in his normal state is able to dissolve into a red, sludge-like, amorphous form. He essentially has the abilities of a shapeshifter, though taking on a different form would require time. The reason he has his current form is that he's so readily familiar with it it takes nearly no effort for him to assume it.

If the fight were kept in the room that Thanatos and Gabriel had their battle would that not due? Large and open, in a lower level with spectators above watching on. Let us say, more than 50 feet down from the spectator area, and in a different room or section completely from the dinning guests?

Through some damage is to be expected.

Ah sludge-like, I understand now thank you.

An arena of sorts wouldn't be a problem; though, against KB Than isn't likely to feel any need to keep himself restricted. He's not going to fling power around like a god but he's not afraid to chase KB up a wall and right out of the arena if he sees it fit.

I kinda pictured it originally being done in the ball room while everyone cleared a circle around them. It was highly like Than would at some point run up the wall, cut one of the wall hung embellishments and swing kick KB from it while having a Tarzan moment. xp

Well I am certainly not against hanging embellishments everywhere, that includes the arena. There just will not be any open fires in that section incase something caught a blaze. There may be broken shards of clay or pottery however, if there are flowers in the embellishments.
