Myra smiled and sat with the demon. She let her dragon down as well who pranced over to Diablo's and licked its cheek before going to the food. "Aww. That was cute."
The boy glanced to the cracked door, hearing Maria. He huffed, trying to play it off as not so bad, but it wasn't successful as he was wracked with a jolt of pain. "P...Pretty bad...."

Diablo nodded, agreeing silently that the little dragons were cute. He smiled back at Myra and watched the little dragons. "They seem to like each other already."
Maria bit her lip as the raven admitted to the pain. She knew it had to be bad then. She moved into the room quietly and walked over to his bed. Sitting on the edge, she frowned, trying to decide what she could do. "Sorry. Anything I can do?"

Myra smiled and nodded. She then sat next to Diablo, having been across from him, and kissed him on the cheek.
The boy watched as Maria came and sat down on the edge of his bed. But now he huffed stubbornly. "Don't apologize to me. I don't need it." he said pridefully before getting another jolt then thinking. "Maybe some water..."

Diablo raised his eyebrows as Myra moved to sit next to him, kissing him on the cheek. Diablo then put his fingers under her chin and kissed her on the lips.
Maria rolled her eyes at the raven as he told her not to apologize. But when he asked for water, she didn't say anything, just headed out. After she managed to find a kitchen and get him a glass of water, she went back upstairs and sat down again on the edge of his bed, holding the glass. "Sit up," she said softly.

Myra blushed a little when Diablo slipped his fingers under her chin and planted a kiss on her lips. But she accepted it and returned it, wrapping her arms around his neck.
The boy watched as Maria left then came back with some water, telling him to sit up. He'd fight her on this, but the pain was winning right now. So he obeyed and tried sitting up some, wincing.

Diablo couldn't decide whether or not he was surprised by Myra kissing him back, but he just wrapped his arms around her waist.
Maria frowned and put the water down on the nightstand, before helping the boy sit up. She propped up his pillow so he could lean back and essentially pushed him back so he leaned against the pillow. She then lifted the glass and held it out to him. She figured he'd want to at least drink the water himself.

Myra just held the kiss, letting her fingers play with his hair. She kind of liked this. A guy who liked her for just being the ditzy girl she was, not begging to get into better circles or help with grades. He just liked her for her.
The boy let Maria help him, leaning against the pillow with a contented sigh. The pillow was great since it was very fluffy, making it a good cushion for his aching body. He then reached out for the water, but found his hand shaking. Was he really this weak already? The boy knew he'd get a little weak, but not so much as to not even be able to hold a glass of water. He then began to think. Would have to swallow some pride and let Maria help him drink, or let her leave it there and him try and handle it by himself?

Diablo smiled a little more as he decided that Myra wouldn't allow this to go on if she wasn't enjoying the kiss. Finally, though, it was breathing time, and he pulled away, still smiling.
Maria bit her lip. She remembered once when, during an elaborate soul hunt, she and her mother had posed as nurses in a hospital. There had been a war veteran who'd needed help doing everything, but hated to admit it because of his pride. So, she used an old trick. Carefully, she took the boy's hand and put it around the glass, but held the bottom of it, gently moving it. In a way, she was pretty much helping him drink the water, but it would feel like he was doing it himself.

Myra smiled back as they broke for air. As they regained their breath, she nestled up against the demon, keeping her arms around his neck.
The boy watched as Maria took his hand and wrapped it around the cool glass. After a few gulps of water, he pulled the glass away a bit and sighed contently. That didn't hurt his pride so bad. He knew she had helped him, but it still felt he had done it mostly himself. And it felt a little refreshing to get something cold into his system. He kind of felt like going back to sleep.

Diablo was a little surprised when she nestled against him, unsure what to do. So, he just put his arms around her and held her, hoping he was doing the right thing.
Maria set the glass on a little table by the boy's bed and stood up, seeing that he was getting tired again. "What's your name?" she finally asked.

Myra relaxed against Diablo, soon starting to drift off. He was so warm... And she couldn't help but fall into a light sleep.
The boy yawned deeply before nestling into his bed, sleep taking him quickly. "It's Shiro...." he mumbled as his eyes fully slid closed over those enigmatic purple orbs. Sleep had its final hold on him and he seemed to be contently out, sleeping deeply.

Diablo was surprised that Myra fell asleep, but he adjusted himself so he could lean against the window, holding the princess in his arms. They were only a couple of hours away from his home, so she could rest up before she met his family.
Maria nodded as he fell asleep. She took the glass back to the kitchen, filled it, and left it on his nightstand again, though she wondered if, in the middle of the night, he would be able to drink it or if he'd just stare at it. She left it anyways, leaving the assumption that he'd be able to drink it on his own now with it, and went back to her room. She was suddenly tired again, and she curled up in her bed. [OOC:] Sorry for being MIA. I went to a friend's house, cleaned it, went to their caroling party, slept over, then went to a violin lesson today and then worked with my friend at her job. emotion_drool

Myra just continued to sleep, nestled up to the demon. She was dreaming ever so sweetly, wondering what Diablo's family was like.
Shiro slept well the rest of the night. In the morning, he yawned deeply, finding a full glass of water on his nightstand. Had that girl left it here for him? That was... nice of her. He blushed a little at the thought of someone caring about him that much.

[OOC:] Yep. I've also spent the last two days breaking in some new shoes, so my feet hurt.... Diablo just held her, wondering how his family would react. He lived in a huge house with all his relatives, much like Myra. His mother was overbearing, but she usually only wanted what was best for everyone in the family. His father was too manly to have emotions, but since Diablo was the good kid in the family, he was okay to him. His sister was....Crazy. The rest of his extended family was the same. That was what he was worried over.
Maria was already awake, sitting on the edge of her bed, wondering if she should get up and do something, or if she should just stay there. Finally, she got up and wandered into the hallway, staring at Shiro's door. Now that she knew what his name was, she knew she wouldn't be able to leave until he was okay. She wondered which parent gave her that. She knocked on the door softly and stood outside, wondering if he was awake or not.

[OOC:] If it's any consolation, I'm sick as a dog.
After a while, Myra began to wake, yawning softly. The dragons had nestled into her jacket for the warmth, cuddling each other as well. She smiled sleepily before looking to Diablo, giving him the same caring, sleepy smile.
Shiro looked up, hearing a knock on his door. He quickly got rid of the redness on his face before relaxing against his pillow again. "Come in."
