little mintchan Mana do I have to be jounin to be anbu or can I be chunin? October- the anbu person has to see promise in you and if he or she dosent then You might as well go to be a hunter nin Just for that...Ima's gonna bite your ankle >(

@Oath- That's cause Cloud is awesome. And Onin specialize in hunting down rogues and such. I don't know what ANBU do because they're ordinary because everyone tries to be one. >>

Oath; As a hunter, your primary directive is to track down rogues.
Now, as an ANBU, you'll take care of assassinations, and jobs which are not meant to be shared.
Mint; Both are jounin positions.

Although, aren't Hunter-nin just a group in the ANBU?

Astra- kyo will kick that cub sky high! And besides halfthe village is either a hunter nin or in training to become one!

Es ist egal fuer mich. @The Not Haku: I say that because most Naruto roleplayers seem to lack the ability to distinguish between hunters (who have a specific purpose) and ordinary ANBU (who have a general purpose). It seems they believe that since the main function of the ANBU is assassinations, that entitles them to take over a hunter's duties. Succinctly, they go murder crazy without rhyme or reason.

@Chocolate: Everyone in Cloud wants to be an Oinin. xD There are only two ANBU in the village, and one's inactive.
And yes. Oinin are a special group within the ANBU. They take care of missing-nin, while ANBU take care of everything else. Although, Oinin are also ANBU, so they could do both.
