Happy birthday Yotsuba!!!
Mastema, you're a brain dead nitwit sometimes. Try reading the book, you might even find you'll enjoy it.
The Eye of the World, Nana, is part one of eleven (Hopefully soon to be twelve) in the Wheel of Time series. It's a brilliant peice of literature that leaves it's reader entranced more or less, drawing them into the story within the first book. I love the books, you should really check them out if you're into fantasy styled writings. Mostly the plot is as followed: The world's in danger because the Dark One is breaking out of his prison and this woman, part of a group of women who can touch the True Source (more or less like magic) called Aes Sedai, is searching for the man (Male Aes Sedai are gentled as soon as they're found since the male half of the True Source is tainted by the Dark One's touch and the eventually go mad and destroy everything around them.) who was born by the pattern to stop the destruction of the world or accomplishment. The characters are really diverse (Perrin is my favorite what ever Chrono says Mattrim is NOT better!!)) and the plot line + history detail is astounding as the books progress. I won't go into too much detail, but it's a great series if you have time to kill. Each book is generally 6-8 hundred pages.

I won't go into too much detail, but it's a great series if you have time to kill. Each book is generally 6-8 hundred pages. You could at least thank me for reserving the spot for your explanation. In addition, you may want to realize I kept my explanation to what it was not to belittle the series but to limit what I said about it to what little I know; anything more I could say would be purely my own assumptions. Perhaps if my saying it was a fantasy based novel with a cult following was misleading, then you'd have basis for an insult. I'd appreciate it if you could put a little more thought into what you actually say. Of course, the former argument is under the presumption that you don't simply call anyone who has no interest in reading the Wheel of Time series brain dead nitwits. If I believed that was all there was to your point, I would've just said kiss my a**. xp
