Ok, so, I saw this movie... it was fecking rad. I sort of only caught it halfway in, so I was hoping one of you guys might know what it's called. I need to get a copy of it...
Esentially, the movie is about tracking down three guys who were obsessed with their looks and yoouth. They died via thunderbolts striking them, because someone slipped pins into their hats. This movie takes place during the French revolution I think... in any case, the villain of the movie is called 'The Alchemist' which is really rad. The main characters of the movie are a few people, but mainly follows some french journalist kid.
In any case, the movie is rad because the villain is likely the coolest cillain I've ever seen. There's really no way to describe just how cool, so you'd have to have seen the movie. He wears a black cloak and a full face mask that is mirrored, that can apparently absorb the energy in souls if people look deeply enough into it.

Which one is the giant flying lizard/snake/dragon thing? That guy was rad.

There's one where the bird comes by to snatch you, it's really easy.
The somewhat more chalenging one is the one where you have to shoot the sacs, then hop onto the fins and run the length of the twisting creature some 500ft in the air.
Personally one of my favorites of them all.

I've never seen the movie myself, but I felt like being nice and looking for a title anyway. I found a movie, that has a villain named "The Alchemist" and the prime way people die is by lightning. The movie also takes place in France and there is a French Journalist involved. They talk The Alchemist being a cloaked figure also with super natural powers, so this might be what you're looking for, if not I gave it a shot. Dark Portals: The Chronicles of Vidocq

That's it! Thanks Yotsy. <3 I really suggest that everyone watch it. You'll easily get past the french and subtitles, as the movie is captivating. The Alchemist is really just too cool to describe, as he has a rad array of abilities.
