Cool. Ok so the bink error means I have to uninstall the Eternal RO and then reinstall and patch right?

the bink error means you need to unistall EVERYTHING and reinstall and patch in this order:
Sak
Rag
Server
hopefully you saved the zip files as back ups
And you are using the korean ragnarok files right?

I'm using whatever the original RO site gave me. I don't see a difference between them other than a number. And why are their so many different ******** installers for this game!? They should have one and only one. Like L2 does. Nothing discourages me more than spending four hours downloading a game to find out it's the wrong version when there are about 15 different ones.
But I must say, that was interesting. I double clicked to get the Eternal Installer going. And soon I had 64 of them unpacking at the same time. gonk Froze me.

the english one or korean site? Because you need to be running the korean one for the patch to work

Poor Ryu... just use the downloads for the rag and sak files on Eternals site, those work just fine, but remember to install and patch in the order of Sak, Rag, and Server Patch

Fourth ******** time downloading this game. Too many. They need one universal ******** installer. Why is this hard on my brain!? If the Koreans didn't make L2 I would hate them.

I had the same issue when I was first starting out dude, it's just a matter of finding what works. If you'd like, I could just put my files in a bit commet zip and host em for you

Yeah, I'm getting it from the site. So far its at 43% for both of them and it has about... I would say. 8 hours left. If it decides to keep up the pace.

Sorry dood, only Cat can give you that info, I got no clue what he has up his sleeve this time...
As for Ragnarok, what class are you going to try out first? Or have you done research into it yet? Because I'd definataly suggest going the Whitesmith way for your first character, until you get the ropes of everything (you can have 9 characters per account) but it is a very good class for learning how things work, plus it has the Merchant familey skills. Not to mention it's the most physically dominate class in the game, and perhaps the best melee character (When used with a 'Battlesmith' style build, I have wiped out even the deadliest of Assasin Crosses and Lord Knights)
