The doors of the building were heavier then he had expected, yet they were smooth and warm against his moonlit skin. He struggled for a moment before finally swinging the door open, his eyes adjusting quickly to the dim fluorescent lighting that filled the hallway and what looked to be a room beyond that. He walked inside slowly, his old black boots clicking slightly, his wide brocade coat making a small scraping sound and his eyes today the same warm color of the inside of a peach; the lightest they had been in days. He made his way slowly down the hall, enjoying the small things that decorated the walls besides the obviously thick coat of paint; no matter how slowly he walked the end was still too close for his comfort. The room was full of people. People of interesting color and design, wearing things that put his own Victorian garments to shame, people lounging here and there sharing a quick discussion with friends in between classes and lectures; never before had he seen so many happy laughing people.

The room was quiet for a moment and a few pairs of eyes glanced his way, looking to him as if he should have something to say for himself, something planned and elaborate like the people before him; however he was not really prepared to be here. After a moment of silence he began to speak.

“Greetings, my current name is Sariel Edwards, feel free to call me whatever you would like; I have had many names in my lifetime. I am a young literate much like you and I would be greatly honored to be included in any discussion…”

Silence…

“Uhh… right… My name is Sariel and… Uhh… Looks as though I am your newest member.”

Hi there Tora and Edwards, I am glad you guys have joined, I hope that you have a wonderful time here, and perhaps find some interesting rps for you ot join up in ^_^.

Welcome to the guild Tora, Scribbles, and Edwards! Let me just jot down your names here so I won't forget. Oh and be sure to check out my new column. I need all the tips I can get, there's only so much my team can do. And when I say team, I mean Me, Myself, and my sketchbook (who I like to call sketchy).

Oh and Scribbles, if you love to role play in areas with more than 1 paragraph, boy have you come to the right place! We have tons of rps already open, just check them out, their variety make even my taste buds water ^_^. As for the writing and drawing, as Serena said, we have two subforums just for that stuff. So hit them up, and enjoy your stay ^_^.

A girl with black-rimmed glasses and recently cut-short hair tentatively peeks around the door of the guild. She blinks a couple times, then edges in. She spies her friend, who happens to be on the other side of the room, next to a lot of people. She gulps nervously and tries to press into the wall... and fails horribly at it, as she sticks out amongst the white wall in her favorite blue clothes.
Suddenly, she can tell people are staring at her strangely. It looked like she was already gonna get tagged as a weirdo. Well then...

"Hello... I... am... Aun-" A collar on her neck electricutes her, and she starts twitching, falling on the floor, her whole body spasming. "Ahh..." She finally gets up, and messes with the collar on her neck... which is now smoking and somewhat black. "Mom hasn't removed the rule on my name, it seems," She mutters to herself, poking at the thing. She looks up and finally notices that people are still there. "Umm... HI!"
She hedges on the name a bit.

"Seeing as the utterance of my real name shall bring massive pain, you may call me by one of many other nice, non-pain inducing names!"
She begins to tick names off her fingers. "Imalane, Imi, Ima, Aki, Ryoko, Riyo, Chi, or Hey You!" She grins proudly at all her names. "I'm sixteen years old, and an unregistered psycopath! I like to convert people to insanity!"
She runs up to a random person. "I bet the dog sent you!" This having been said in an ominous voice, she runs back to where she had been before.
"Umm... I'm a major anime fan, and I mostly collect manga! I have every volume of Fruits Basket that has come out in the US, and my favorite animation is InuYasha!"
She takes in a breath for the first time after the 'Umm', and seems confident now.

"I tend to balance time between sitting around, gaia, and instant messages! If I'm not doing those, I'm either asleep or at Capoeira." Rubs her legs at the mention of Capoeira, as they still hurt from yesterday's lesson.
"Ah! I'm learning Capoeira, which is a Brazilian Martial art, and I love it! Just not the pain... and the blisters... and the sore throats... and the WHEE!" Imi stops herself from whining quickly. "In Capoeira, my nickname is Rapunzel because my hair reminded mestre of Rapunzel! ... At least until I cut it." She makes a 'XP' face at this.

"Well, if you really have anything you want to know about me, you can ask, yes?" She makes what she hopes is an encouraging face.

"Let's see.... yesterday, me and Selendina were out catching tadpoles... and um... we both kept on freaking out if we accidentally touched a dead one. OH! And... they're cute like the whi-" Imi shuts up here, realizing she probably almost said too much.

"To prevent my saying any more uncouth things, hello and thank you for letting me join?" She smiles winningly once more, goes to walk away, and trips and falls face first.

Hi there AunAhh! Welcome to the guild, and I am glad you already have a friend here, I hope that it'll give you more of a reason to hang out. And while you're not on the ground haha XD just kidding of course, but we have quite a few rps to jump towards and shake around like a rag doll because of the share fun out of it. Just considering a really awesome tadpoles with Keh! ^_^
