Pft, it has its occasional kick out or two, but there is just something about Firefox that I don't like.

Do tell?

What is there to tell? I have a mac and I can use short cuts that I know using safari but I can't using Firefox. Also, the controls on Fireflox (like the 'Attach Signature' button, and other buttons of that sort, or whatever you want to call it) are ugly, and the ones on Safari are really pretty. People who say looks aren't everything don't know what they are talking about, because when it comes to programs it is.

Yeah for Macs... I agree the short-cuts on Safari are more usable because FireFox doesn't seem to have them... but FireFox does have the nifty 'you spelled this wrong'... but thats about it...

Vera (my computer) tells me when I have typed something wrong even on the internet.

So... Mac's have a spell-check feature?
I'm an avid Firefox lover (with the spell-check and the hot-keys and the glahoyven and the glehiven..!) And also a lover of Windows XP... because, let's face it:

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Tyler is a Mac lover and likes Safari, too... I got him to say "Mac's suck" because he meant Big Mac's from McD's, but I still held him to it xd :snickers evilly:

I had to get Vista for Vera because I got it through my school for next to nothing, and buying the wonder that is XP would cost more, and be harder to find... It makes me sad, but I am just going to use it for games, so I guess that is ok... ish...

Don't particularly care for Vista... annoying as hell, if you ask me... You want to open this? Are you sure you want to open this? Are you sure you're sure you want to open this? Now that it's opened, do you want to read it? Are you sure you want to read it? xp *smashes with a hammer* Unfortunately, when I get my laptop, that's probably what it'll come with. Sadness...

And I practically swear by Firefox. I never use IE anymore because we get too many problems with it, and on a dial-up connection, it takes WAY too long to load one page... stare

I also don't like Macs that much... Or is it that they don't like me? The world may never know eek

And just to share the humor, my best friend had a very old computer (before he built his new one) that gave him weird error messages. He was playing a game, when suddenly an error message came up that simply said "ASKING THREAT TO DIE" eek and the only button you could push was OK... no x-out, no control-alt-delete, no nothing... So he pressed OK... nothing happened...

Random, no?

That is very strange indeed.

And once you learn a mac you really don't want to go back. Especially to that silly two mouse button thing. It is so hard to move your thumb to the correct side on a pc, and it is so easy to just click with the single mouse button.

"Oh, but Ed, what about my precious right click?" It is still there, and without reading stuff it took me a while to figure out how to download stuff illegally, but I finally did it! Control click. "Oh, Ed, I am a pc user and I am so lazy, I would never dream of control clicking." The beauty of it is that unless you are doing something you are not supposed to it really don't come up all that much with the abundance of shortcuts there are.

Oh Vera how I love you so. Oh Vista, how I hate you so.

So, yeah, totally got Vista on my beautiful baby girl, and it drives me crazy. Haven't even had the damn thing on there for 12 hours, and I am already pulling my hair out. Stupid gorram thing. Why must I like playing pc games so much?

ahem........
as someone who kinda does know two shits about computers, and the son of a man who knows far too many shits about computers, looks aren't everything.
I could make a program that would look beautiful, with best high-graphic video and maybe even a 40 FPS rate, and if I just use a bit of Spagetti code you'll both not be able to use it AND have no idea what the hell to do to fix it.
But to each their own, if Safari works for you go for it. I usually don't need to do much illegal downloading- benefit of having a job and a healthy respect for artists.

Just get an emulator program for windows that operates on a mac. It's cheaper ( so take the friggen vista back), easier, and iwill work just as well.

Can I ask you a question?
why are you clicking your mouse button with your thumb....?
I would just use the index finger which is so much faster.

Ever seen the ergonomic mouse?

I'm sorry Ed, Mac's are great an' all, but I know too many shortcuts and how to work a PC to switch... And Windows games are teh pownage!

My '95 always gave me the "this program has performed an illegal activity and must shut down." message on almost everything I did. Damn the government. (damn their killing, damn their lies... Aww, now I gotta go listen to that song on Van's profile... stuck in my head now...) but if you got a message like that... I would have just shut down the computer... it might have been asking permission to commit suicide... or homicide! eek

Yes, I click my mouse with my thumb. I have a laptop. How am I gonna click with any other finger?

Also, I got to college, so I get a huge discounts on everything I buy from there. It was 140 for both Leopard and Vista together. Not half bad from what I was seeing from other offers. Also, I looked at a ton of those other ones, and it was going to cost me 80 for that program, and I still would have had to buy a windows operating system. I didn't just go out without looking anything up first... I'm glad you have so much faith in me...
