"I...I don't know who he is. He's always been here. He comes...he takes my blood, then leaves." He babbled, struggling away from her despite his exhaustion. "I don't know."

"Takes your blood." A confused look crossed her face then remembered the bleeding spot from his arm. "He took to much blood last night...but why does he take your blood." Everything was just become twisted as she began to understand more and more about his situation. But at the same time she didn't understand a thing that was going all.

"I don't know!" His voice had taken on a whine. He obviously didn't want to talk about it. He scooted away from her before realizing he was acting like a child. He sighed, closing his eyes as he shuddered. "He...he used to only come every now and then, take some blood, and leave. He told me it was to ward off Galai'a, whatever it is that's out there." He squeezed his eyes shut again. "But I think...he uses it for himself."

Kelala couldn't believe it, the idea of someone doing this and taking blood for whatever purpose. It made her shudder with distaste as the very idea disturbed her. "Ovaan I think it would be better for you to leave this place. It isn't right what he is doing."

He tensed. "I can't. I have to stay." He shook his head, hugging himself. A deep bruise had formed on his arm where the needle had taken his blood. "I have to be here."

"Does he tell you that you have to stay Ovaan." Kelala whispered softly as she looked up at him gently. Forcing him to leave wouldn't work. She just had to understand it would be in his best interest. Besides she couldn't leave him here and suffer this kind of treatment.

Ovaan felt childishly like he was tattling on someone. He struggled with himself before finally croaking a choked, "Yes." He hid his face in his hands, feeling like a traitor. He would be so mad if he found out...
Ovaan had been so bad. He'd broken nearly every rule. He didn't deserve to live.

Kelala shook her head and reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder. Hoping that the action would be one of comfert. "Ovaan no one should tell you what to do or how to live your life. Only you decide what you do with your life." Once again she was saddened, it was hard to see someone so broken and scared like this. The urge to hug and comfert him coursed through her but she stilled herself. Not wanting to scare him at the moment.

Ovaan leaned into her touch, wanting desperately to be comforted. Then she spoke again and he flinched away from her. "But I'm a monster! I can't be allowed to decide for myself! I could hurt someone! Like I keep hurting you..." His eyes filled with tears. Ashamed, he buried his head in his hands again. "Why did you come back?" He moaned. "You could have left, gone like you wanted to. Why didn't you?"

Kelala pulled her hand away sighing softly as she just sat across from him. "I told you...I want you to come with me...I have also told you that you arent a monster." She said softly as she stared at the floor. It was ture she did not want to leave him for more reasons then one. But it was proving more difficult then she though, what if it actualy came down to it that he wouldn't leave.

"I can't LEAVE." He cried between gritted teeth, stressing out. How had his plan to force her to stay turned into him resisting LEAVING with her? No. There was only one choice. He had to stay.
And she had to go.
He couldn't, he wouldn't put Kelala in Davonin's way. He would certianly hurt her when he found her, just as he had trained Ovaan to hurt anyone who came too close.
"You have to go." He whispered so softly she might not have even heard.

Kelala didn't hear him as she sat shaking her head. "What keeps you here? Loyalty....fear....what is it that makes you stay at the mercy of this crazed man that is the real monster." She said softly as she looked up at him. Gold eyes peircing into his demanding an answer.

Ovaan would have gotten up and fled if she hadn't managed to capture him with her gaze. He managed to babble something completely unintelligable before passing clean out, whether from exhaustion or pure fear was debatable.

"Oh Ovaan." She said softly as she looked down at his still form. Sighing she got up and moved towards him. After some effort she managed to half carry half drag him to his bed that was thankfully close. Finaly after she got him into his bed which took longer then she thought. She let out a sigh of relief as she ended up flopping down on the bed next to him. He was heavier then she expected and it didn't help she was still tired. Sleep claimed her as she layed right next to him on the bed just big enough for the both of them.

Surprisingly, Ovaan slept very well. Considering that he'd never slept near anyone in his memory, he found her closeness actually quite comforting. As his unconsciousness lightened into sleep, he became more aware of her presence beside him. Still sound asleep, he adjusted to more comfortably accomodate her, turning onto his side and looping an arm around her waist. He buried his face in her shoulder, warm breath carressing her skin.
