Maki sat still in the darkness but soon the memories stopped playing and the area became hotter and brighter. Sweat began pouring down Maki's forehead and down her neck. 'I said stop," she commanded as she held her position. The voice laughed louder and soon the room grew even hotter. Maki opened her eyes and realized where she was. She was back in the river of lava. "NOOOOOO!"

Looking up Maki noticed the ledge was a bit higher than before and tried to reach for it by leaping. But it was simply out of reach. "Darn it!" she shouted and thought for a moment. "...what would Shinja say at a moment like this?" Just then like a whisper in her ears she smiled. "I can feel your wisdom in my heart Shinja ... thank you for all you've given me," she said and then as she concentrated her sword Kiljoy appeared in her hand and she jumped into the lava. Bracing herself for any pain she may endure. As she dove into the lava it felt cold like icy water and as she sank to the bottom the lava and water disappeared into darkness again.

Kyana walked down the decks to where shinja and maki had lay dark blood stained the floor.
Kyana then thought to herself.
Shinja and maki loved one another yet in the time they were together although they may have known it they never really acted upon it. Time has seperated them, I can't let time seperate me to. who knows what the world will hold for me or him. If we do not hurry time could be the end of us aswell. Time that both gives and take life the power chrono. I must find him before one of us has the chance to be ripped from this world and I must act now.
Kyana looked up saddened yet invigorated by her thoughts she quickly began running towards a docking bay she had found earlier.
"Hopefully its still here"

Everyone was very emotional at this time and very sensitive so Kisaragi started to walk away from the main group. Shortly after seeing Kyana he quickly ran after her, getting close Kyana sprinted of towards the docking bays...
"...Kyana, why the rush? WAIT FOR ME!..."

As Maki laid still in her bed, the wound began to swell the dark blood trying to force itself through. The corners of her lips began seeping black blood from it as she was still sleeping unaware of her condition. =========================================== Dreaming: As she stood in the darkness Maki thought she felt a presence. "Shinja? Is that you?" she called out only to have her voiced echoed back. Then the cold silence and suddenly the voice.
"He's not here," the voice whispered and in a distance echoed the wailing of an infant. "It's only me mother."In the distance an orange glow appeared revealing a rather large pod entangled in a web of vines snaking in and out of each other.

((Sorry guys, i've been really busy with school and all.))
Tenshin stared at the flask in his hand. The cold, silver flask shimmered in the light of the control room. In the middle of both sides was a carved image of a lion's furious head. Hm...if I had to guess... Tenshin slowly unscrewed the top and took a swig from the flask, softly closing his eyes afterwards. ...yep...strong stuff.
After snapping back to reality, he realized that Kyana had been talking to him. Now, however, she was nowhere to be found. Now alone in the control room, Tenshin decided to go to the one place he thought he might be able to have company.
After a minute or two of walking, Tenshin arrived at his destination and quietly opened the door, gazing it Maki, who was sound asleep. He held back a smile as he softly laid the flask down next to her and made his way back to the hallway. Suddenly, something on the ground reflected light and caught his glance. Turning around, he saw what it was.
The Kusanagi -- the sword given to Shinja by Greed.
Knowing it was his father's sword, he let himself go and allowed a quick smile to form on his face as he walked towards it. Nearing the sword, he felt something wet on the ground. It was blood. Maki's blood. Not knowing what to do, he quickly removed her from her chair and ran into the hallway as he yelled for help.
She's losing a lot of blood...this is not a good sign...the orb's manifestation could be in one of it's more advanced stages by now...this is not good at all. If I allow it to manifest further, I might have to... From the corner of his eye, Tenshin looked at the Kusanagi with a frustrated look on his face. No, I can't...Father would know what to do...dammit...
"HELP!"

Kyana watched as Kisaragi stepped onto the small ship.That she was standing on. The door closed behind him and Kyana slammed her hand on a button on the controls which kick started a small engine in the craft.
"We are leaving Kisaragi I have remained in one place too long I must continue my search before something too happens to him aswell."
Kyana spun the wheel as the ship left the confines of the much larger ship
"So where shall we go next kisaragi?"

(It's okay Kioshi.kun, welcome back. smile ) Maki took kiljoy and began slashing away at the vines entwined around the pod and slowly snaking around her. Making her way towards the pod.
"Yes mother, come to me. Come welcome my rebirth, it's almost time ... muhwa ha ha ha," the voice laughed. "I can love you just as much as He did and more mother. Just stop your foolish search and come back to the castle, I'm hungry."The voice's words just made her mad as she cut her way through towards the pod glowing in the center of the room. "How would you know? Shinja was special and more of a man than you will ever be," she shouted as she continued to cut through the seemingly endless vines. "How dare you insult him!"

Kisaragi ran in and as he came through the door he sat himself in the corner of the small craft.
"...Where ever there is someone that can help you fine your firend, Your helped me find my sister. Now its time for me to help you find your friend..."
As Kisaragi stared in to the cold slient space, a small tear coming from his eye.
"...Space is a big place to cover, unfortunaly my knowlege of this place is sparss..."

For the first time in over 50,000 years, Tenshin began to sweat nervously. Dammit...what do I do...Father...please tell me... Turning his head to see if anyone had arrived yet, Tenshin saw something glimmering within Maki's room -- a bottle. Tenshin recognized this bottle as the one he spotted the doctor giving to Zetsuei and Maki back in Arvardia Castle; back when he was still under Sett's control. He quickly got up, ran to the room, and picked up the bottle and was back to Maki's side in mere moments. His sweat dying down, Tenshin unscrewed the cap and poured some of the liquid into Maki's mouth. "Please...swallow the medicine..."

Maki continued hacking her way towards the center when the room went dark, and she felt something chocking her. ======================================== Waking up she grabbed her throat and began coughing. "Huh? What happened?" she said between coughs and looked around. She turned and saw Tenshin, "What's going on?" Maki was confused. The bleeding stopped as the swelling began going down.

Kyana thought for a moment as the ship descended.
"What would he go for something that would allow him to use his sword talents and to do something to oppose the darkness aswell as protect and grow his abilities."
Kyana lifted up her arm and pulled open some of the hatches above her. The first contained a small box labeled Potions. The next had 2 blankets in and the 3rd had some kind of packets of what looked like dried rations.
"Trust shinja to have stocked these well, He really did think of the needs of others. Its a shame what happened"
It was then that a piece of paper dropped from the 3rd panel and onto kyanas head. She quickly peeled it offand looked at it. It was some kind of advertisement she read on.
Are you a keen swordsman or fighter? Do you seek to advance your skills in a controlled environment and form part of an elite unit. If so you should join the Queens knights and join in the work of protecting our new queen from the threats of the evil forces Just like Dark tail and his forces. Although they are gone surely another will one day arrise. Pledge you life to her queenship and pledge your life to the people. Lest all your sins be forgiven in service of her divine majesty.
"Hmmm perfect Its just the kind of thing that would draw him in. I think we should check it out my freind."
Kyana walked over to the 2 seats at the helm of the ship. The cabing was quite small as if the ship was meant for only about 2 people. It was cosy and there looked to possibly enough space for 3 to sleep on the floor. If need be. Kyana assumed that was the reason for the blankets. The interior was metallic but not cold. It was designed well to not give a cold feeling perhaps for longer journeys.

Maki looked at Tenshin, her eyes a bit blurry and for a moment she thought she saw Shinja. But as the fog from her eyes cleared she saw who it was and smiled.
"Did you help me? ... Thank you," she said and her head began spinning. "I'm so sleepy ... sorry. This illness makes me sleepy when it acts up."
With that Maki laid back down and turned towards the wall and hugged the covers around her neck.
"Thank you ... " she said as she drifted into sleep.

Landing on the deck of the airship and walking back to the door of the airship his black wings folded up and disappeared behind him. Opening the door he walked inside the control room and closed it as he walked away.
"Time to go see Maki"
Pressing a button the elevator doors closed and went to the living quarters level. Upon the opening of the doors he walked into the hallway and down it untill he came upon Maki's room. Looking into the door he saw she was asleep with Tenshin by her side. Entering the room he sat down in the same chair he had sat in before he left and waited till she awoke.
