That was... rather sad. Oh well, couldn't win every year.
Next table was MGX. Oh, she had done so well the previous year, and was doing so averagely this year. Another big appointment. But eh, maybe something was going on in her life. Maybe her dog just died and she had left her husband that very morning. She didn't even look at what she had cooked. She would probably just be disappointed once more..
-1 for being bored of being disapointed.

Absolute Average. She couldn't find anything good or bad to say about what she was eating. Eh, better than some, at least.
She moved on to her Grandson's table. He was an odd one. Sometime he was doing extreamly well, other time, not that well. She had pegged it on him having a great potential but never had the training to develop it. She looked at his plate. It was a simple fruit Salad with a hot sauce over it. It did looked pretty, but all in all, was fairly easy to do and didn't impress much.
+1 for being her grandson.

Oh! It was pretty good! She couldn't complain there. For a simple fruit salad, he had done well! The taste of the sugary sauce was a perfect wedding with the taste of the dragon fruit. Good choice. He had plaid safe and, in the end, it would play in his favour.
Next on her list was the baker. Now, being a baker, surely this would be his best round! He was trained in it! She had also heard so many good thigns from his bakery. She should go visit sometime soon. +2 for extremely high expectations.
She looked at what he had done and... raised an eyebrow. Now, it was really pretty. In fact, it was one of the pretties thing she had seen all day but... the technique looked.. subpart... -1 for bad technique
Still.... he should have known what he was doing... perhaps it was simply a technique Gladice was unawar of. Still, she tasted his dessert, hoping for the best. +1 to dice roll.

Meh. Average. She didn't have anything else to say. One more disappointment. Maybe she shouldn't have such a high expectation of that festival... or maybe they should just learn to cook.
Next, was Gwen. She had high hopes for Gwen. She was only 2 points away from Florence, and God, Gladice would cheat if that meant making that bug loose.
+2 for Florence Hating.

YES! YES! This was GOOD! Excellent! No way Florence could do something better than that. Die Florence! DIE! MWAHAHAHA.
She went to the next table. The Hairdresser and the little boy. What a cute pair those two were! +1 for being cute!
What in the world? Lemon steamed cake? Oh! That was... That was one of her favourite Desert! Good Job Fleurette! Winning the old judge over! Twice in a day! +1 for being Lemon!
And it was so very well done too.... could she really... yes, yes. She would give Fleurette and maxwell ANOTHER point. +1 for perfect technique
+3 for just being all around wonderful.

Simply perfect! She didn't have anything else to say about that desert! She loved it! Fleurette and Maxwell going to be on the top three once again, she was sure of it. She was going to be one of the winners of the countest, there was no doubt in the woman's mind. Good Job Fleurette and Maxwell, good job.
Now.... for the one person she was sure was going to win the festival. Alanis. She walked at her granddaughter table and just couldn't help but gasp at the turtle cake. It was... so... pretty! Well, it was Alanis. What else would she expect. The technique was good too! Seemed to be better than the previous two meals. All in all, this was a very good final cake.
She took a small bite, not wanting to destroy it. +2 for good technique and being her granddaughter and generally being in a good mood.

Above perfection, just like how she had expected. She was proud of her granddaughter, and she knew so was Gaston. This would probably be the only topic the two of them would ever agree on. She went back to the judge table and starting calculating the scores.

As she sat down, she notice Gaston looking at her with very mean eyes. It took her at least 5 minutes and the addition of all the scores to noticed she had forgot Florence. Damn Gaston for reminding her! She went to Florence table, trying to see where that damn bug was. Uhmm... No where to be seen. There was simple some icecream and a weird thing made of chocolate. Gladice took a bite.
-1 for being Florence.

Shivers went throught Gladice's body at the tasts of whatever that was. She went back to the table and wrong 1 on the list. Why wasn't she writting 0? She had no idea herself. Simply a strange feeling of victory inside her...

The old lady was finished? Oh, thank god! Gaston was getting so bored here! Certainly, he loved to see so many potential chefs for his marriage to Lulu, but he already had basically made up his mind! Unless someone could have a turnaround during this one, single round – which was highly unlikely – no one was getting a chance at a grossly overpaid job offer! He only wanted to take his prized Florence home now and go take a nice, long bubble bath with his rubber steamboat and call in his latest maid for some Gaston time. ..Ah, actually, Jade had been doing so well this day! Maybe she deserved some Gaston time, yes? Yes!
That aside, Gaston was at the first table, where Alex Park, who had been nothing but a disappointment, had his.. oh god. They looked horrible! Gaston didn't know much on technique, but crumbly, boring balls of coconut could look good ever! He grimaced at the bad display and let out a long sigh. Maybe he should talk to the inn owners on their chef.. If he cared to have the time. He took a bite regardless of it's horrible appearance.
( -1 for a poor display! )

..That was actually quite good! ..Not the best, but not that bad either. Gaston couldn't really blanch when he ate the crumbly little ball and only shrugged at the man to show his response. So, he moved on. Straight to.. Jack Walker. He looked at the walnut bars set out, one already gone from Gladice. What had she thought of them..? Ah, who was he to tell? He hadn't checked the score sheet for longer than a moment before he left. So, without further ado, he took a bite.

..Indeed, it seemed a fisherman should stay on the boat. Gaston unknowingly agreed with Gladice while he stared down the poor Jack, considering slapping him for the dreadful walnut bar, but he refrained. He had a festival to think of now! So, he moved onto the next couple. The siblings or.. something. He wasn't sure. The pair that ran the winery, both beautiful people, but unimpressive still. Not everyone could be perfect like Gaston, he supposed. The man looked at the food on display and felt an odd nostalgia. ..That.. must mean his mother had to have made them before! Which made them Gaston material! Yes, indeed! Even if they weren't as presentable as mother's, he still smiled at the one treat his mother spent the time paying a cook to do for him! Gaston always had to ask the chefs to do his meals himself.. He took one of the coconut balls and popped it in his mouth~
( +1 for nostalgia/Gaston's idiocy! )

Raiden was excited for the last round, not only because it meant it was the end, but because it was desserts! Everyone loved desserts after all, right? He approached the first table, Freya and Mao. He looked down to what they had prepared for him! Hmm, it was very neat and pretty, he really liked the little umbrella for good measure. He smiled and went for a quick bite, hmm, it didn't taste normal, but different. Of course, he couldn't really recall ever eating wolf jelly... But, it was different, and different=original!
+1 for keeping it interesting~

Raiden nodded to the last two and made his way to the next, that was a pretty good dish to have to follow. He made his way to the next table, Conor and Keith. He smiled to the two boys and glanced down to the fruit salad in front of him. Hmm... fruit salad was sooooo overrated. He rolled his eyes before even taking a bite. But, he knew he had to and what not, so he leaned down for a bite. It actually didn't taste all that bad, but there definitely wouldn't be bonus points. These two were very lucky it tasted good or they may have gone to the dreaded negative! Raiden chuckled at the thought and continued along the line.
+0 for being a boring old fruit salad~

Oh! Delicious! Just how mother used to order them! Gaston smiled as he took another just to taste the confectionary moment once again~ ..Actually, this tasted even better than mother's! He didn't know if he should be offended or pleased, but he knew he really adored the coconut balls. He looked at the winery couple with a new light for a moment before heading to the next table - MGX. What was this..? He looked over the dish with an elevated eyebrow - it wasn't anything special.. Really, the mysterious woman was starting to lose her appeal! And here he had been looking forward to asking for her address so he could start wooing.. later. He was still enthralled with Lulu, after all. The man took a bite of the cake..
