A movement wakes me, and I get up using the back of my chair. I shake my head and duck around to see the others. Yuki had fallen asleep sitting up, and Jurdean had fallen asleep against the wall. I get into my seat and look out. The dark was eternal.... and kinda scary. I open my wing window and feel the moisture. I close it and start the stages of descent. When I get out of the sky, I see something magnificent. "Ladies and gentleman, imps and queens, I do not thing we are in Kansas anymore."
I breath out, and my breath fogs the windows, so I pull my face from it and ease the gunship into an easy landing. Outside it was a beutiful silver. Snow covered everything. The sky was black, and there was no moon, nor sun. Once we have landed, I open the door and step out. The air was crisp, heavy with moisture, but very very crisp. "Welcome to the Malinklay. Damn Turkish portals. We must have gone through one without noticing." I turn to see Yuki rubbing her eyes, and Jurdean making snow angels. "Or five or more. Who knows. Anyway, we have enough food in the heli for days if not weeks. It should warm up during the Light hours, but keep wary of the wildlife!" I joke, playing tourist leader. I go back in and do a systems check before turning the heli off.

Still half asleep Yuki looks outside and was amazed at the sight, it was the first time she has actually seen snow before since the Shadow Realm's climate never made it. She steps out lightly and automaticly feels the chill, reminded her of the cold night back home,"This snow....its quite curious to looks at." Yuki walks a little further not to far from the others and watches behind her as her heels made imprints as she walked, before she went further she trips landing on her face and gets up slowly feeling how cold the snow was, normally she would be mad but this time it made her laugh a bit. Once back up she takes a handful in her glove and watches the small flakes melt on her hand,"I've never seen such an amusing substance...its quite enjoying to feel." Yuki walks back to the two keeping close, so far being hidden made her feel a bit better and eased her fears just a little, though she wasnt to good with the chill and stays close.

I be kinda grounded, for who knows how long, but, nice thing is, I have been getting into shape! MWAHAHA! Anyway, yeah, see ya when I finally get to be on again.....

Things were quiet in the now former quells but Eve wasn't so sure. She had been leading her group through the terrin to try to get out of the realm it's self. After climbing up a mountain, Eve motioned for everyone to make camp.she then motioned for Hitomi who made a slight bow in her direction.
"Why in the world do you keep doing that?" Eve asked in experation but let it slide when Hitomi bowed even further.
"Why me?" She asked looking up to the sky as if she was going ot get an answer from the gods. She then quietly pulled Hitome aside to talk to her.
" Hitomi, I know there are things that are going on that I don't know about. could you please explean what is going on? And on top of that, we need to find a way out of here and soon. There is barly enough food for everyone anymore. I'm sure King Drako could help but I'm not even sure that he could since I'm sure his hands are tied at the moment."

Hitomi stood and stared at her trying to stay quiet, she knew that Yuki told her awhile back that Eve wasnt suppose to know everything till the time was right or she found out on her own. She turns away for a second and looks back to Eve acting like she had no idea what she was asking,"My sister knows everything about you but she never gave me detail on all of it, I just know that from things I've seen you're quite.....unique." Hitomi turns again feeling the guilt of lying but it was for the best,"Like you said we need to search the grounds for provisions, I'm good at tracking so I'll go....." she bows again and jumps to the branches off to track. Getting out of sight she thinks about what she did back there with Eve and wondered if it was actually the right thing to do, thinking about the facts Yuki thinks of her dead and doesnt care what happens and secondly would even saying anything more could cause problems coming up, she shakes her head and concentrates on the direction she was going, the only thing she could do now was keep quiet about it and not bring anything new up.

Scarlet pounded the silver gates with all her might but they just wouldn't budge. They were jammed shut and even with her powers, they still would not move. Scarlet screamed in fury and sent her most powerful attack at the wall but it only rebounded on her. she ducked with a cry of surprise and turned quickly to Father Time.
" you know child that you can't leave here. Your gone from the real world. no one would even remember you if you went back. look at yourself Scarlet. Your a ghost! Your nothing more than a wisp of a soul."
Scarlet's fury increased and she snarled showing off her fangs.
" You know what they called me? Time? everything from the red death to to Lucifer's Angel. I don't fool around and I don't kid. open the gates or I will rip your throut out with my fangs."
father time shook his head in amusment but tapped the floor with his staff and the gates swung open. scarlet looked between the gates and Time and made a bolt to the gates but an energy field stopped her cold." Get me out of this!" Scarlet screamed in anger. Time just looked at her and answered. " I'll let you go but you will only be a ghost, a spirit. no one will see you except those that still believe in you and the one that is destined to become you. Don't screw this up Scarlet because the whole world is depending on you now." He then let Scarlet go and she dropped with a thud. Her cloak surronding her, she picked herself up and pulled up her hood." I've been called the red death for a reason Time. I'm sure that I can use to it. It's better than sitting in this wastland of a waiting room for 50 years." With that, she took off out the doors and appeared in the former quells. she saw different groups gathering but none of them noticed her except one that was somewhat far off in the distance. The girl dropped to her knees and bowed low.

She couldnt believe who she was seeing, all the things her sister had told her, all the stories and images were actual reality. Not wanting to move her head HItomi was frozen to the ground not in fear but in deep respect,If I'm just imagining this then someone give me a sign, something to wake me. She looks up again and still sees her, this was reality. Hands shaking slightly Hitomi realized like the images from before she was in the presence of the red death in person, the name she knew was Scarlet.

Scarlet quickly went to the woman and tried to pick her up but her hands went right through the woman. Scarlet looked like she was on the verge of tears but she spoke." Please don't bow! I'm not the one you should be bowing to.Besides, how can you see me and not the others?"
The woman quickly stood up and tried to touch Scarlet but her hands went right through her.
"I'm a ghost, A spirit! I don't live on this plane anymore but it sucks because I never really lived and yet I never truly died."
The woman looked puzzled but Scarlet dimissed the queston." You need to get out of here don't you.Where is Eve? It's time she is aware of who she really is."
The woman nodded and pointed back to the camp.Scarlet nodded and start making her way to the middle of camp. the woman still in shock followed her.
Eve was going to get a nasty surprise when she woke up and realized she had been posessed by none other that Scarlet Knight.

This isnt a dream, the time has come and I'm actually going to be here when it happens....however though, if she isnt the one I should give my greatest respect to then who does she mean?" Hitomi tried to piece everything together but failed to figure it out, she followed at a decent pace but decides to take flight then use up her physical energy up if it was going to be needed later. Halfway there she touches down for a second and lands in a tree, head lowered in thought she tried to think of what would happen once it actually happens, would Yuki actually realized it and come to her sense or would her mind be so set in the dark that her words words be grim and tried to get rid of her even though it wouldnt be much, even with the power of the darkness she wouldnt last long and mostly be killed in the process. Tears run from Hitomi's face but she wipes them and takes off to catch up, soon they reach the small camp where everyone seemed asleep only she was awake and afraid as well.

When Scarlet came to Eve's small sleeping quarters, nothing more than a blanket and a small fire near a tree, she smiled and made herself at home next to the fire.She looked at the small embers that were left and tried to bring the fire back to life. her fingers weaved in and out of the embers and suddenly there were sparks from the coals and the fire came back to life.
Scarlet looked behind her to see the woman standing in the shadows of the tree. She motioned for her to come join her as Eve slept. " I'm Scarlet! I'm sure you already knwo a lot about me but do you have any questions that you might have? And..." Scarlet smiled and pointed a finger at the Woman. " Your Hitomi! Queen Yuki's sister! am I not correct?"

Hitomi stood still where she was shocked,She knows me?!....but how and....how? Shaking the feeling she walks to Scarlet and sits by her a little on edge but was at a decent with from her. "My sister has told me a few things from her past but not much, mostly of how she escaped our realm and found you along the way while she spent time on Earth but thats mostly all." Hitomi looks to the fire now sparked back staring at the flames as they moved around and softly asks,"All I want to know is simply this, was my sister like this before? I remember her as a happy person always with a smile but...now all I see is an image of our father." Sparks crack from the fire luminating her face for a moment but her mind was trailing,"My worry is if she'll ever be the same person that I knew, the real Yuki not a bitter and cruel tyrant that I feared never to see again...I'm afraid I'll lose her." She starts to cry softly thinking of it,"I dont want to lose my little sister."

Scarlet replyed quietly. " would like to see for yourself?" When hitomi nodded her head yes Scarlet Abruptly stood up and she slid into Hitomi. scarlet felt her resist but spoke in her mind." Trust me! I won't hurt you! I'm going to show you my past!"
When Hitomi relaxed, her eyes turned solid red and all of Scarlet's past flashed before her eyes. That also included when Yuki and Scarlet's paths had crossed in the begining to the last breaths of Scarlets. When Hitomi had seen it all, Scarlet slid out of Hitomi's body and sat back down again.
"Yuki has a great weakness and that is power. She will have to overcome that weakness if she is ever going to great. Many people call me great and wise and one of the most powerful rulers of all times but the truth is that I have learned that even though the power that you posess is suppose to be use for ill intent does not mean that you have to follow suit. I have neve done that and I have gone agenst what my familys origional intent was."
At this point, It was begining to break light and Scarlet saw Eve begining to stir. Scarlet stood up and answered quickly. "If you have more questions, you can ask me later. Eve and I have some catching up to do this morning." As quickly as as she spoke,Scarlet closed her eyes and her spirit slid into Eve's body.

She watches for a moment and turns away thinking of all the things she had justs seen, her hunch was dead on, Yuki was a happy person all the time though a big clunbsy at first glance she was a happy normal being. Hitomi wanders away from camp and finds a small spring and decides to go in to try and clear her mind of the negative thoughts, looking to see it was clear she was safe and makes herself comfortable in the warm water. "Power is Yuki's weakness......I never would of known that but now that I've seen it I know." There wasnt much she could really do, in her mind she believe Yuki thinks Hitomi died and reveling the truth that shes alive could cause trouble and a fight could break out,"Sister.......I will help you through this time I know that the real you is trapped and must be released, like Scarlet said just because the legend tells we must fight doesnt mean that we must follow that path.......we create our own." Hitomi listens to the water current nearly falling asleep from the sound but remains awake, she looks around and sees her clothes still against the bush and no new sounds to alert her. She youches to her headband and removes it washing it out and pausing feeling her forehead where her moon was and slides it back on, it was the only thing she had left to indicate her old identity.

Eve woke with a start gasping for air. something wasn't right.
She looked around her but everything was quiet and hitomi was asleep while another woman took her place as the guard.
Eve tried to relax but what ever was bothering her was still there. She got up and started to pace when a voice went through her head.
" good morning Eve! I'm Scarlet Knight and you are me!"
" What the hell?" Eve shouted quiet loud. Loud enough to gain a few looks but didn't regester them.
" Ok! I'm hearing things now from the lack of food and water. That's it! I'm slowly going insane!"
All of the sudden, her hand came up and smacked her face.
Eve looked on horrified. what is going on?"
Scarlet laughed. " You haven't figured it out yet have you. You and I are one and the same. I'm now officially stuck with you and there is nothing that I can do to break free.so you are going to have to deal with me."
Eve was too horrified to even think straight and sat down on the log next to the fire.

Hitomi open one eye and stirred a bit hearing what sounded like Eve, and she was correct, looking she sees her a bit frantic till she realized why she was paranoid.""Oh thats right I saw Scarlet and....yeah I know why now Eve is acting like this.....so true." Hitomi nods her head slightly and lays back down, she knew that now if the two were sharing a body it was going to be different, she knew how it was like when Ketsuki did it to her till he was able to make his own image. Her eyes closed but still listening she can hear the Eve what sounded light she was going at it with herself though actually was talking to Scarlet, sighing Hitomi turns the opposite ways in the tree and tries to drift back to sleep.
