"Wait, come again?" Her eyes narrowed and her lip curled in a silent snarl. "Why didn't you tell me that before?!" The happy feeling she had was completely gone. Her ears went back as she glared at him. "I suggest you tell us anymore little tidbits that you may have forgotten....now."
"I appreciate the help but honestly, I'm here to get things running smoothly and from the looks of it this place needs a ton of work considering that I know that was either Jerun or Toad on the phone and the only reason I allowed you to lead me in here is because I'll just get the information out of that little scene boy eventually."
Meanwhile Toad was parked a few houses down from the Inn Kit was in and watching it carefully. He had been there since he left the Xavier mansion. His finger drummed on the steering wheel boredly as he watched the police finish up cleaning the blood from the road. There was no way they'd be able to come in and fix the heat warping nor do they know what caused it. Toad knew. His eyes narrowed at the Inn. They had to be there. There was no other place and knowing Kit she'd probably be packing up shop or already left. Though, judging by the activity he could see through the windows, they were still there. He put the binoculers to his eyes again and looked in the windows. A flash of green fur went by the window and he saw it was Kit. "When the hell did she turn green?" He wondered aloud.

"well you can stop by there" travon sugested. "well yea i cat help but help out my friends when they ask." she said "mabye we can be pals at least?"damain finshed his shower dried off and came out all dressed and with wet hair."we going soon?" damain asked cleaning out his left ear. he looked ou the window. looking closely he could see an outline in the seat it seemed to be holding it face."possible peeping tom!" damian said pointing

"Got it." he hung up and kicked his motorcycle into gear. He drove for awhile before pulling into the mansion driveway he knocked on the door.

"Toad?..." She paused and thought. All the higher ups already had teams. One was eliminated and the other was in hiding and building ranks. "Who? The only two Magneto would trust with teams have already been assigned one or is dead by my hand." She slumped down in a chair near the window and nibbled on her bottom lip. "You were on Mystiques team and y'all were always better informed then Toads. Know of any higher ups that might still be alive?" Then Damien brought her from her thoughts and she glanced out the window to the car he was pointing at. Not recognizing the car she closed the shades. "Yeah c'mon, we can talk about this on the way over to the new place.
Sam glanced over her shoulder and furrowed her brow. "Busy morning." She said before getting up and going to the door and opening it to see Jerun. "Hey...Toad just left..." She said assuming he was looking for Mortimer.
She blinked. Friends? She shook her head. "No. I think not. I'm the leader and I'm not supposed to be friends with my team members." She said dismissing the idea quickly and turning away from the girl. Rem walked into the living room and sat down on the couch to think, and to wait for Travon to come downstairs so she could interrogate him.
His heart stopped for a moment when Kit looked directly at the car he was in but the shade to the window closed and no one came out. She didn't recognize the car, thank god.

"There might be... Umm... Deathtouch. That's what we called her. When I was misbehaving once she threatened to send me to her. Heck she came into the building to put me in line. She might be it." he said his skin going void of color at the thought of her.
"Not looking for Toadie, Sam. I need a favor. You remember Stryker right? I need to get to his lab for records. Can you help me?" he asked.

Travon a bit nervous now. he dosssed akira her phone back and finshed comming down the stairs. he grabed his plate and finshed the rest of his breakfast then put the plate in the sink. he came into the living room with a glass of ornge juice and sat in one of the easy chairs. "im i right to asume your going to ask about the call" "well alright...." akira said, she could say she didn't try. she met travon on the stairs as she was going up and he was going down she mouthed the words watch out.

Her ears quirked forward in curiosity at Kelvin especially since he paled. "That's an odd code-name. I assume you didn't know her real name and just went off by her power?" She was a little worried, just by the sound of the name the power was probably something very bad. Her eyes went to Kurai. "Let him peep. Hopefully he saw somethin' he liked. Honestly I don't care."
She paused a moment then motioned for him to come in. "Brett, I'll be upstairs for a bit." She said and lead Jerun up to her room where she closed and locked her door. "Honestly I can't tell you exactly where it is because I wasn't there but I was able to find out some interesting things after hacking into the system that's still up there. Apparently Kit was there recently and wiped the system. I assume whatever files had been there she has now. That can be a good or bad thing depending on who's files were in that computer. Sit down." She motioned to one of the chairs in her room.
"Actually, yes. Sit down. Which one was it? Jerun or Toad? Also what did they want. Remember if you're not honest with me I will know and I have ways of getting information out of people."

"Well either way, I say we leave soon. Mayhaps we can drive past him on the way? Case it's someone we don't want tailing us. We did kinda send the 'Hood a pretty obvious message." Kurai said "Besides, those cops are getting me a bit nervous."
Tala came out of the bathroom feather free, and said,"When we heading out?"

Jerun sat down his head in his hands. "This close at figuring out the rest of that dream and I pull up the one thing I was hoping not to hear. The fox got it.... What can you tell me?"
"She's worse than her power though. He'll she doesn't really even need it. She's that good."

"Damien! Stop ******** around." She snapped. She was actually worried about the possibility that this woman was the leader of the Brotherhood in Bayville. Her ears were back in agitation as she looked around at her team. "C'mon lets go. Everyone grab some things and lets get them in the cars." Kit got up and walked over to the laptop that she shut down, closed up, and packed in the case nearest her. Picking up as much as she could carry in her arms after putting a backpack on her back and a duffel on her shoulder she walked out of the room and around to the back of the inn where their two new SUV's sat, having to get new cars after the sedan had essentially been melted.
"From what I was able to see when I originally went in there he has files on almost every mutant out there and not just those who registered. I gotta say, Kit did right in killing him otherwise she and her team wouldn't be our only problems." Sam said sitting on the edge of her bed looking at Jerun. "So, who's the new leader Toad was talking about?" She asked, slightly curious about the person sent to take Mortimer's spot.
"Now see, you're gonna have to be a little more specific then that because honestly...I don't like secrets at all." Her gaze grew darker as she stared right into Travon's eyes. "I've had a long trip and haven't dealt with the most cooperative group since I came here so I suggest you just spit it out or I'll have to get it out of you myself. You wouldn't like that now would you?"
Mortimer's eyes went wide as Kit came out of the side door and into the parking lot in back. He turned the car on and put it into gear and pulled away. There was no way he was going to get blown up or fried if she saw him. Instead he drove past the inn and down the street where he turned left and kept going. Luckily he had seen the two black SUV's that Kit had started loading things into so those would be easy to follow once he gave them enough time to leave. For now, he'd just drive around the area.
