"Thank you very much Mizu I appreciate it" she smiled at the young girl and let her pour the tea "would you like to perhaps join me in some tea? I would love the company" Umemi said in her quiet tones. She sipped at her tea gratefully and sighed contently before placing the tea cup back down again. "How is your training been going Mizu?" she asked.

Mizu blushed shyly and smiled. "I really do love taking classes at the maiko school, and following my Onee-sama to the teahouse is very enlightening," she replied softly, gently pouring herself a cup of tea and warming her hands around the bowl of the ceramics. "I was told Tora-chan and I danced well for our short performance at the teahouse a few days ago, and I was so nervous but we did fine..." She blushed hotter, realizing she had been rambling.

Rune stopped dancing,her face was very red,and her makeup started to mess up. So Rune sat down in front of the mirror and wiped her face clean. "Wow,i've defiantly change from the first time I arrived here" She said getting up and looking at herself in the mirror. Then she changed her kimono into her nice soft sleeping kimono,the designs of red flowers falling from the tree. Made her giggle and spin around,then lightly falling on to her futon, she laid open eyed and thought to herself.

Mizu Odoriko Mizu blushed shyly and smiled. "Arigato Okaa-sama," Mizu answered with a delighted smile as she took a sip of her own tea. "Ne, classes are a little strange at times...I used to know most of the girls, but there are so many newcomers that I am feeling farther and farther removed...it's quite saddening actually."
"And there's one girl who seems so sure of herself...I almost envy her. Her mother must have been a great geisha since she holds herself with so much poise. But...I cannot help feeling a little ashamed of myself around her...I feel like I'm not much of a maiko at times," Mizu admitted with a small smile. "But I wouldn't trade my position for the world! I have so many friends here at the okiya! Tora-chan, all the new maiko, my Onee-sama, and Okaa-sama too!"

Umemi smiled at her young maiko and wandered maybe it was time to upgrade her position. Perhaps she will keep an eye on her training and see how she goes in the next month to prove that she is worthy of such title.
"I know it can be hard sometimes Mizu but always know you have a place here that will always be yours" Umemi said as comfortingly as she possibly could.
"Do you have any hobbies outside of training?"
Umemi asked as she poured some more tea into her tea cup, it was interesting learning about Mizu, she seemed very down to earth and easy to talk to.

Mizu blushed. "I...I've always loved the tea ceremony, and walking outside under the sakura trees...and writing. I haven't had much time to write because my training as well as my job at Miyuhi-san's Shop has left me little time...but I write in a small book, like a diary, except it holds bits and pieces of stories..." Her cheeks heated even more as she tried to laugh off her words. "I'm sure it must not be too proper for a maiko or geisha to write more than just poems, and I do that too, but stories have always struck me as magical..."

Tora awoke from another of her many nightmares. She sighed heavy like as her sences came back to her. She rolled over onto her side and saw a light underneath the door. She got up to see whom it was. The light was coming from Mother's room! Tora knelt and slid the door open. "Oh no! I'm so sorry," Tora said bowing, after seeing whom it was. "Please, forgive me!" Tora started to leave. "I thought there was trouble. I saw the light and heard voices. Forgive me."

"Tora-chan!" Mizu exclaimed softly, setting down her cup of tea. The darkness outside said how late the hour must be. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost..."

"No, no, I'm fine now," She smiled. It was almost comical now. "Everything's quite okay now," she said in almost a laughed. "I'm sorry to have disturbed you," she smiled. She slid the door back shut and began to turn away.

As Masacki gets to the front of the place she will from now on be calling home, she wonders how her family is doing. But as soon as the thought comes it vanishes. This place now holds her family. For as long as she stays here she will honor her biological family and make a new one. Since that is their wish, than so be it. As she steps up the stairs she gets extremely worried. What if they don't like her? What if her new Okaa-san is unfair? Then she takes a deep breath. "There is only one way to find out." she says as she takes off her sandals in favor to the slippers lying near the enterence...she walks in
