That's crazy. I hope you knock back this ear infection.

I was putting oil on my feet and I noticed a sow bug crawling along on the carpet. It's really dry here and I've noticed a few dead ones in the corner. So I scooped him up and was going to put him down stairs (it's really cold out) but it's dry down there too. So I put him in an old jar with some sand and a wet tissue. HE LOVES IT. They can live three years. It's like the cockroach I can't have. sad

We have a new push mower- the old fashioned kind where pushing it turns gears that turn blades that cut the grass. We got it for $10 on Craigslist.
I didn't watch the cartoon, but I had a whole slew of My Little Ponies. I even had the stable carrying case and the ponies that had growing tails. New cartoon is good, but I don't understand the fascination about long legged big head and eye renditions. (See: Bratz Dolls) Anyways, it's not bad! (Watched both episodes.) <3

Today i overslept way too long...felt horrible about it and realized i'm pretty depressed about my place in life right now. Cut my beard off, cut my hair, and that's about it. Kinda hard to keep being optimistic about anything when i apply for job after job and get turned down every time and then my pay gets cut and my hours get cut. Things are not going well so i'm probably going to be taking a break from gaia and the internet for a while. Take care folks i'll be around when things are better.
Lil update Just got laid off again...so yeah i'm not exactly pleased at the moment. Gonna take a week and then see about some other jobs i might be able to get. My grandma is looking at some properties that are roughly 2 hours away to buy. One of them is pretty nice, 5 acre's of nice flat fields with a barn that's been converted into a house (over 4000sqft) for the ridiculously low price of 38k. Man i wish i had that kind of cash because if i did i'd be out of here.

I got sick....and just came back from the hospital. I don't understand why its so cold there.
I posted about it in the craft subforum, but that place is kinda dead so:
So I was really bored yesterday, and I was surfing Etsy for clothes (even though I'm broke) there are a lot of awesome dresses, coats and skirts on that site. But, these things are really expensive!! Like into the hundreds of dollars for just one piece. So somehow this led me to go into the basement and check my scrap pile for something I could make a skirt with. I found two newish sleeveless shirts that were ugly and waaay too big on me. So I brought them upstairs and tore them apart and made this cool skirt. I no longer have a sewing machine, so I did all of the sewing by hand. I also didn't use a pattern since I already know how to make a pleated skirt and I'm waay too impatient for patterns most of the time. I estimate the time it took me to make this at about 5 hours. But I also took a few procrastination breaks and a sleep break during that time, so how long it actually took is anyone's guess. Without further ado:
