"Well as all our buliding are, the castle is made of the stuff. Except the castle is where we get all of the jhit to build everything else. It's the source. But here's the best part... It's not real. Not in the since of atoms and cell structure at least. Jhit is us." Kai stated, letting that sink in for a second he took a sip of his water. "Because it is our own consciousness we can minipulate and change the building. It's rooms, furniture, everything and anything with but a thought. Everything in the castle is all part of one gaint piece, making it easier for us to change on command... Funny thing is the Sky Castle is the only building that can do this. Jhit, once it leaves the Sky Castle, can only be made to take a limited amount of shapes or preform a limited amount of functions." Kai paused and looked over at Jessica to she how she was doing with all of this. "With me so far?"

Jessica paused in her notes to look at him, immediately intrigued and rather confused at that. Made of them? How in the world..... She recorded the rest, her mind still whirling with that one thing. "Yes... But how is it made of... well, you?" She asked, already understanding how they moved jhit and such, but how was it made of them? "And the castle with it's easier ability to move, is it because of numbers or because of few but with much power?" She asked quietly, glancing over her notes.

Zera nodded to Natasya kindly. He wasn't going to let the elf disturb him too much, and the fairy's presence was sure to keep him in somewhat of a sensible line "Fairly well, though I would have preferred to not have been.....prodded ssso, sssyssstematically" he rumbled. "Oh pish-posh, it couldn't have been that bad!" Sherad said with a smile. Zera turned his head so he could stare at Sherad with one golden eye "If you were the only elf to have been quessstioned, I doubt you would think that...."

Natasya sighed lightly and patted Zera's arm in comfort, she could take a guess as to how it felt. "Well.... Their new, and their technology isn't as advanced as our own so they have to kinda... prod, in that way." She pointed out, glancing to her own people, noting how the water nymph was playing around a little with the humans. She shook her head with a small chuckle, turning her attention back to the two of them. "At least most of the researchers are rather pleasant and so it's not quite as bad as it possibly could be, right?" She tilted her head with a warm smile, some of her bangs getting in her eyes.

"That's the thing. No one really knows... The castle has been there for as long as my people have lived on this planet. The knowledge of how the castle came to be was forever lost." Kai paues thoughtfully. "Some of us believe that we came from it. Some of us believe that it was creaeted during the first joining at the first Solar Solstis. Others that by connecting with the elements we connected with something far more powerful, that jhit is merely that unknown power showing itself... So you see, I don't have an answer to that question." he smiled appoligetically. "The castle's origins is a mystery even to its inhabitants, but the way it works is somewhat easier to understand... Being our born with an almost unmeasureable use of brain power. As we grow older the amount we use is shaped by our environment. How much we needed to survive, how much we need to reach our goals, and even how much we need to find a mate." Kai explained smiling, throwing in a wink at the end. "Nekos tap into that to control Jhit. We are pushed to the extremes in everyway as a child, given tasks that any other adult would flounder at... How we control jhit is simple. We just think it, visualize it, push the jhit into a mold that we see in our minds... And the jhit conforms." Kai took a sip of his water. "Beyond that, how Jhit works is more of an action that is impossible to explain to someone who has not been conditioned or able to use it." he stated appoligetically.

"Please- just a few more questions!!" the researcher called from behind Tanya, and just when he got right behind her, she extended her wings, knocking him lightly to the ground. She knew it did no real harm. But why did it have to be the most annoying persistent one that was interested in the demons so much? Jessica, or Priya, or pretty much any of the other researchers would have been much more acceptable. "No more personal questions, promise!" Uuugh, he was up again... and still running after her. She finally beat her wings, rising into the air and yet he still called after her. She left, flying into the trees to hide. She didn't want to go to far in case an interesting developments occurred.

Jessica raised an eyebrow further at that, taking note as she listened, briefly remembering some thing of Earth that still remained unexplained. "Sounds like the speculation that surrounds Stone Hedge back home on Earth." She murmured, blushing faintly at the wink that he had given her. Though, she did furrow her brows again at how they were pushed so far so young. "No, I think I understand in part. Thank you for at least going that far." She let her mind sift through that for a little while, allowing her notepad to power down for the moment.
Priya looked up as she saw Tanya was being bothered, frowning a little as she shouted something in Russian, noticing how the man snapped to attention. "Leave her be. Don't bother them more than they want. Otherwise we're just being rude. I thought I told you better." She snapped at him, watching him wither. She was up close to him, her silvery white hair flipping back with a flick of her head and wrist as she brushed it aside, violet eyes burning. "Now go work on the paperwork and look over all the reports. I want you to think over how to handle this situation better. Now go!" She snapped again, adding another comment in Russian before watching him scurry off, sighing heavily as she shook her head.
She saw that Tanya had flown off, sighing as she lowered her eyes. "I'm sorry about that." She called, frowning as her opinion was asked for as they looked over the nymphs and faerie.

"You really shouldn't make that stern face all the time... It just might get stuck there." Kai joked finishing his water as his glass vanishing in a flash of bright light. "So anything else you want me to babble on about?" he asked, relaxing back into the chair.

Jessica blinked and blushed, a small smile rising to her lips. "Sometimes I wonder if it already is." She murmured, downing her entire glass as if she were at a bar, glancing down to her notebook as she sighed lightly. "Um... not unless there is anything you wish to add. You look exhausted Kai, I'd prefer you rest up."

Kai chuckled as he refilled Jessica's glass. "Sleep is something I can always catch up on after all this is over. I'd much rather know who things are coming along with everyone's research." he stated, smiling softly as a gentle breeze played around them. Kai sometimes did this to distract others while he tried to gather a qick fix of mana to keep from passing out... He seemed to be doing alot of it these days.

"Thanks." Jessica murmured as he refilled her glass, taking another sip, deciding to take it slower this time. She sighed and frowned at him, if she were wearing glasses, she'd be looking at him over them. "Kai.... It's not healthy to do that to yourself. You'll end up passing out while working and potentially messing up your work. I've done it myself and it's not a pretty sight. I almost got fired." She chuckled, shaking her head, noticing the soft breeze that passed through. "So, rest since whatever you do to try and keep yourself going will end up making it worse. Too much caffeine is bad, stims of some sort, all addictive and all not really helping too much in the end. Because you end up needing more of whatever it is to keep yourself awake the longer you drag yourself on." She remembered what she did, shaking her head with a heavy sigh. That was never a pretty sight. "Just.... don't push yourself too far, ok?" She asked with a worried expression, though a smile was on her lips, cocking her head.

Tanya had really not gone far, the trees were closer on this side, and she had flown right into a big one right on the edge. She had herd Priya, but she waited a moment. The pesky researcher had gone out of sight, and now she jumped down and walked back over. She really didn't mind being over there when she wasn't constantly annoyed. She found that by studying the way the humans studied others of her planet, she could tell a lot about them. Once she was near Priya she did thank her "Thank you, though you saved him more then you did me" and she had her mouth open enough for a little fang to glint in the light. She probably would have just knocked him out and dragged him behind a bush somewhere for him to sleep it off though... if he had continued, or even still continued... she supposed unless they were really at war she would refrain from human blood

Priya looked up as Tanya neared them, excusing herself as a stream of water shot off by her ear. It did make her smile briefly before regaining her normal impassive expression. "You're quite welcome. I'm sure I did." She said softly, not really needing to look at her fangs to know what probably would have happened. "Sometimes they get like Reporters back on Earth, too pushy and desperate to get what they want no matter what happens to them. It never occurs to them that maybe they should actually care what happens to them because if they die, then who can report the story hm? Only those who are more cautious can do so." Her violet eyes shimmered in the light before she typed something rapidly across her note book, letting it power down for the moment. "Don't you agree?" She asked quietly, tilting her head so her white hair spilled in front of her shoulder.

"A nap would be great... If I wouldn't be dead to the world for days because of it. Big Elders Concil meeting early tomorrow and everything." Kai said, forcing himself not to yawn again. "So had any more fun since you've been here or has mister grumpy pants put a halt on that?" he asked, refering to the head marine.

Tanya shrugged, "I suppose, the general idea anyway, I don't really know what your talking about when you speak of Earth." She meant she knew that Priya was talking about how something was back on her home planet, but what that was she had no idea. Reporters, like scouts? She wondered. Scouts would watch and go ahead to explore new area's when traveling, or keep a watch out in your own territory, and then report back... she wondered if it was anything like that. What she did get though was that you had to be cautious to report your findings, and even when you think you could find out more you ha to worry about your own safety or you might not report anything back at all. That at least, she understood.
