I have much catching up to do but not as much as I had expected after six monthes without internet. I think I nearly died of withdrawel. Seriously though it will be interesting to see how things have changed. I've had little success understanding the actual effect of the time shift so I'll just wing it til I find a landmark to work with.

Pah, six months?
Try over a year.
I swear herion doesn't have that painful of withdrawals...
Not that I've ever tried it, or would even know......
Anywho, mayhaps I'll even enter the Dojo before I sign off, just updating, or rather completely overhauling my old profile. ^^

I'll be blunt.
TJ has a habit of posting once a week, if not a month. There was a meeting, or a date, or something that otherwise should have passed over the course of a day or so.
It took months. IRL.
So the Citadel became completely back-lagged in comparison to the guild. The 'Time Skip' essentially punted everyone forwards a few months to the point where the Dojo was completed. This puts everyone on the exact same date and lets us start up new.
Though TJ will inevitably lag behind... again.

I can't say anything about that, I'm rebuilding my guild with an entirely new concept because between work and my daughter being born and growing I had very little time. What little I did have I was devoting to developing ideas for the guild but not implementing them. I'm sure I disappointed a good number of people but in the end I'm working on setting things to rights. Essentially it's the philosophy of "There are many people with problems in the world, many people that would say some are worst than mine. It may be true but to me my problems are the ones I care most about."

Anywho, finished a rough draft of my profile, I'm sure I'll update it later.
Oddly enough, it seems my old one was deleted from our profile thread.
I guess all that means is that I get to post behind everyone else and look like a total newcomer, eh?

Sounds possible, my understanding is there were few members from the original pre-ggn thread back when I joined in 04.

Well, technically...
It was an alternate character who died during some involvements with BC and other outside parties...
I tried to bring him back, but it just wasn't the same...

I joined ont he first page of the ORIGINAL Black Company thread, I believe I might've posted right after one person, save 9. I can't remember for the life of me who that was.
I was sad to see 9 go, a lot of fun left with her.
Now it's just me and Kai to chat about the old days and cause trouble. X3
