*Even after a few minutes, the crystal survives the intense strain* See ^^ it's very durable, even with a minute amount of power ^^ It absorbs any energy thrown at it, and just becomes harder. ^^ I think this would be an excellent substance to use as a shield in place of the current barrier.

*He chuckles* I see. Indeed.... a strong substance but how would it suffice as a barrier? I can see that it would absorb aura based attacks, but what about other means?

Well energy attacks would be no problem and nor should physical. One major up to this...erm..... stuff is that it can be "programmed," like a circuit. So it can be made to boost more power into it from the core if needed. I'm sure it won't be that hard. It can be programmed ot only trade energy with the core as well >> so I wouldn't worry about others breaking in my absorbing the energy of the barrier..... thought that's dangerous as is really

*The boot continues to stay on Mas's foot* Programmable? A useful quality. It may very well keep others out, but what about those leaving the citadel? If it's such a hard physical substance, I highly doubt it is permeable to organisms

Oh that? *He scratches the back of his head* Well, hai, it wouldn't let something pass through the substance, but it can open. Like I said it's extremely varying in form. So it can open at specified places. Again, that can happen with the right programming. Well... what'd you think >> It can be made in large quantities given enough time.

*Mastema grinned a little and turns away from Than. A moment later, a screen pops up in front of Mastema and he types a few things into it. He then waves his hand towards Than and the screen moves to him* You have the citadel resources at your disposal. Design the appropriate program to make it functional as well as instructions for producing the material. Do that and I shall implement your idea
