I was thinking rapier for practicality facing Than, but for the sake of continuity and style I think I'll have KB armed with a sabre.
I can see it suiting his demeanor completely at the Gala, breaking away from the table to take someone at swordpoint in a blaze of fury matching his crimson coats.
