Gonna clear my browser history so it isn't so easy to get here. /Already cleared all Gaia stuff from my bookmarks. Admit it, you just can't keep away from gaia...and m/strangled by necromorph tentacle before being dragged through a nearby vent. Yeah, look at that studmuffin. You just can't keep yourself away from him, Ane. ;D gaia is just so attractive...er wait, were we talking about gaia, or the tentacle? XD Neither. Well it isn't me. I ain't no studmuffin...most of them are jerks anyways from what I've seen.

Let's take the two that I just read. Her baby sister wants to run away from home. How's that supposed to give me hope?
I don't see "people coming together," I see "another innocent girl has cancer." Damn it, world.
"To live is to suffer. To survive is to find meaning in the suffering." I've had Scleroderma since I was 4. It sucks but I'm okay with it. Most Sclero patients are in their 30s/40s and not okay with it but knowing me, who's had it almost my whole life, helps them a little. I've also met plenty of other kids with skin conditions, which helped me and I've made quite a few friends that way. Yes having a chronic illness sucks. But not everything about it sucks. It gave me depression for a few years but ever since I've gotten over it I've been able to see the good when bad things happen.
I understand that. Having the whole glass-is-half-full mentality is awesome, I'm not trying to say it isn't. But what I am saying is that those stories just don't cheer me up at all.
It's not really a glass half full thing. I'm a realist, not an optimist. "Sure the glass is half full/empty but atleast it's not completely empty."

Every time I step out on stage, or out to play. every time I look at the crowd. Every time I see the looks on their faces, begging for a good show I get tangled up inside. i feel my chest squeeze so hard I can't breathe. I close my eyes and try to breathe but it doesn't help. i finally put on my guitar and step over to the microphone and and make them disappear. I find the one point on the wall and focus on it and make everything but the music dissipate into darkness. I fear what people have to say about my playing, I fear that I'm not good enough for my friends, but I'll always be there to back them up when I need them. stage fright, its such a thing that doesn't belong with me. i need to get rid of it.

So Jimmy and I finally came to the conclusion that we're not gonna date. It probably wouldn't work out and he might be moving eventually anyway and he can't handle long distance relationships. We're pretty much just gonna act like we're dating without it being actually being serious. I'm pretty happy with this. I don't get jealous of him liking other girls and while he's a good friend I doubt he'd be a good boyfriend.
His jealousy of only my ex Luke shows a problem though. He'll jokingly say he's jealous of other guys but with Lukey it's obvious that he's not. When he came over today I said I was talking to Luke online and Jimmy's arm immediately went around me. When I told Luke that, Jimmy backed off a bit, just putting his hand on my knee. Lukey lives in another state, so it really just makes me and Luke laugh and ends up with Luke messing with him. While so far it's only Luke, if a nearer "threat" shows up...eh, we'll deal with it if it comes up.
Edit: It's sad that my parents fight so often I'm indifferent to it. They were while Jimmy was over and he was kinda freaking out while I was like just "s**t happens."

He seems to have trouble (a sophmore that's distressed/distraught/suicidal(?)/depressed as I heard him talking on his cell phone after school)... maybe I should hug him? Idk if intervening just for a bit would be a good thing.
