kaiori how does val even know about the temple much less feel strongly about it ? question Basically, the BC region is under surveillance by Gabriel. Val isn't like my other, more thought out characters; he's a very hot blooded, headstrong, and jumps to conclusions faster than Fenton eats out a garbage bin. What he knows: Some high class looking guy and his cronies have removed bodies from what he considers a gravesite, and he assumes said aristrocratic guy is going to use the building for less than noble purposes. He's reasonable, but pretty headstrong. So there shouldn't be a problem if Baptistin and Haydee can talk to him sweatdrop

The essentials of it, Kaiori, is he shouldn't. Mastema just enjoys pokeing his nose in where it doesn't belong.

kaiori hnnn... still don't understand why he'd care He's Gabriel's hencemen, but he's your typical, honor-driven good guy. Eat right, respect your elders, respect the dead, do no evil, help those in need, etc etc. He's got a natural prejudice against the aristocratic type like Gan. If it were someone else, he likely wouldn't be so confrontational.

No worries; if Baptistin and Haydee really do end up being crappy negotiators, I'll bring in one of my other characters that Val will actually listen to xp
