I even knew more than that BEFORE I took European History xd
European History is an elective at my school, we never learn any of it in any other class either. Maybe that is the problem.
Something that bothered me is that we did the first chapter of Japanese history but we skipped the "Japan Today" chapter. I think it would be learning about the goverment structure of one of our major allies would be more realivent than learning about samurai killing eachother.
We also skipped Southeast Aisa.
When my brother took World Cultures, the first thing they did was the Middle East since it is so important today, but my class isn't doing the Middle East at all. sad
