Well... she doesn't dislike some people. She likes the captain and thinks that Malik is alright (though she still a bit skeptical since he's new). 3nodding

I'm being completely serious, you should use the random number generator. Hmmm... at least I think it would be a Fortitude save... *looks for DM Guide* 'cause it would be a disease wouldn't it? You could roll for the probability of the prostitute having one, and depending on how expensive she was (because presumably the higher-priced the prostitute, the more concern she would be about passing on something to a customer), come up with a percentage chance. If you roll and end up in that percentage than you do a fortitude check. If you fail that you than roll randomly to determine what it is Kelly would have.

...What's the DM Handbook? And don't worry, you;ll be a bit more skeptical of Rex once he starts fooling around with trying to make more explosives (they weren't in his medical bag/trunk so he has to get more supplies. I'll do that after we reach Whitefall). And I use random numbers to help me make decisions in RP's when just having the character's personality doesn't help (normally does, but chance makes for a better storyline) Glad that WoW and Gaia both have those. It would be sad if Kelly caught an STD... Though I could make a somewhat-humorous scene out of that from the show "Lost" where one of the characters needed glasses. If you didn't see it, nevermind... Ira he become a little bit more difficult since I'm trying to widen her to 15 meters instead of just 10... : / She's getting there... slowly, oh-so slowly... :sigh:

Tsk. This next generation of RPers is just sad if they don't know what "Dungeon Master" means. *Shakes head* It would be sad if Kelly caught one, but let's face it... sleeping with hookers is usually linked with STDs. It's a perfectly plausible outcome for Kelly's actions.

Hey, space hookers are cleaner than Earth-that-was hookers.

o.O Do you really think so? Remember, it’s supposed to be similar to a Western set up. Companions had to get immunized remember? As part of refreshing their licenses? It stands to reason that it means that those of the less professional variety have a high chance of being diseased.

I play DnD, so I didn't know what Dungeon Master was... ninja of course, only at Dylan's house where I rarely read the manual unless truly needed... which may cause more than necessary deaths... :sigh: Anywhat, yes having intercourse with prostitutes will more than not give you an STD. Perhaps there should be a roll on it: 1: Clean 2: In the clear 3: Safe! 4: Hepatitis C 5: Syphilis 6: AIDS surprised nhoes!: 50-50 seems fair, right? I am not going to make a poll on whether or not Kelly got an STD from a whore. He didn't, he is fine, end of story.

:stifles his laughter: alright, woulda been funny, though, if Rex had to give him antibiotics for the disease. Anywhat, I am just now finding out how easy it is to make Napalm, gunpowder, TnT, fuses and thermite bombs... no wonder why IED's are so common... This is both scary/(illegal*)/amazing at the same time... neutral
[[ *I'm not attempting any of this, so it's still legal to learn about it... ]]

Yea, it wouldn't be life threatening... I'm sure they've developed cures for a good portion of the STDs in the future.

Solution to a disease leads to more devastating diseases in its place. Solution to anything leads to the problem being solved, yet a more dire one being developed, within nature, laws or by human influence.
