Kelala grabbed the cup of water she had prepared for when he would start moving. Propping his head up she tipped the cup against his lips urging him to drink some. "Its going to be okay Ovaan... I'll figure out how to help you." She whispered soft as she stroke his hair still trying to get him to drink. Now she understand why he said he couldn't leave. He was to frighten to leave...some one had scared him into believing he hade to stay in this forest.

He was unprepared for liquid to pour into his throat. He coughed, nearly choking on the cool water, sitting up and shaking his head. He was immediately dizzy and nearly passed out again, his head landing heavily back in her lap. "Wha...?"
He realized then that he was being cared for by Kelala. She had stayed? She hadn't run from him the first chance she was given? He reached up, weakly, and gently touched her face, not believing that she was still here with him. "...Kelala...?"

"Yes Ovaan...I'm still here." Kelala said softly, pressing her face against his hand gently responding to his touch. Eyes were glistening from tears she had yet to shed and her face wet from the tears that had overflowed. Though she was smiling she was deeply saddened. Not understanding why or what exactly was this person doing to Ovaan. But she knew it wasn't right and whatever he did had cuased him to be in this state.

"You...stayed...?" Ovaan couldn't wrap his head around it. She had stayed. But all she had ever wanted to do was leave. Now he had given her the chance, and she had stayed. He stroked her cheek with his thumb, struggling to understand. Why had she stayed.
"Kelala..." And with that, he passed out again, the smallest of smiles on his face.

"Ovaan." She once again whispered as she held back the tears that were threatening. No..she wasn't going to sit and cry her heart out when he needed her help. The only thing that could stop her from helping Ovaan was...Ovaan. He needed to be willing to talk about what had happened for her to help.

Ovaan remained unconscious for an alarmingly great amount of time as his body worked doubletime to make up for the blood that had been taken from him. When he finally awoke, it was well into the following day and he had a headache from sleeping too long. He stared up at the ceiling trying to figure out what had happened.

Kelala had ackwardly dozed off while sitting there. Her body now slightly hunched over his with her head resting on his chest. Which resulted in her being folded around his body considering his head was still on her lap. She mumbled something about needing to help someone in her sleep for she had yet not woken up.

Ovaan blinked a few times as reality became clearer. After a moment he spoke. "Much as I'd enjoy sleeping with you, honey, this is a little awkward." Once again, his personality had flip-flopped, his gruff tone alarmingly like that of the man who had just taken his blood.

Kelala groaned softly as she began to stir from her slumber. A frown marred her face as she sat up her back resisting at first then popping back into place. "Well that was uncomfertable." She mumbled as she rubbed her eyes. Then sighing softly she looked at Ovaan and smiling softly. "Maybe next time we should try the bed." She said teasingly. "How are you feeling anyway?"

Ovaan frowned thoughtfully. "Like I just got the pulp beat out of me." He said again, still bluntly. He didn't even register her 'maybe next time we should try the bed' comment, which might have been a good thing, considering. He closed his eyes against a wave of dizziness and cussed under his breath.

Kelala grabbed the cup next to her and refilled it with water. "Here drink." She said softly as she once again propped his head up and tilted the cup next to his lips. Slower this time as she tipped it back letting the water flow into his mouth.

He was so unused to being helped, liked, and treated kindly that his gruff, defensive mannerisms quickly melted away. There was something about her that brought the real Ovaan out of the swirl of mixed personalities. "Thank you." He murmurred softly as she pulled the cup, empty, from his lips. "I..." he lost either the nerve or the concentration to say what he'd been planning to, so it petered away into nothingness.

Kelala smiled softly as she set the cub down then carressed his chee. "YOur welcome...but...Ovaan what...happened last night." She asked gently in hopes of not upsetting him. But she needed to know...she needed to understand so she could help.

"I..." He lost his concentration again, leaning into her warm hand as it massaged his cheek. He wanted nothing more at that moment than to pull her closer to her and cuddle her, just feel her warmth and the intense feeling of REAL. But her question caused him to flinch. He struggled for words. "It was...it was Davonin."

Her hand stayed on his face as her thumb traced his cheek bone slowly stroking it. Wincing slightly at the sight of him flinching as he stuttered out his answer. "Who is...Davonin....and what did he do?"
