(time skip: three weeks later) Beth had been moved out of zain's care and taken to his younger sisters home to take care of her daughter and her when need. "it hasn't been more then a few days and i miss beth and so does Zoey." zain said to alex as he got ready for bed. it had been a long day for him since he had to operate on five people and do three other non life threatening surgeries.

Alex sighed doing pushups.She sat next to him and looked at his tense shoulders."She is where she is needed Zain." Alex rubbed his shoulders and looked at him.She knew he had been under a lot of stress today.

She looked at him and shook her head."Doesn't matter to me." She rubbed deep working his shoulders past his shirt.

Alex kissed back deeper and got up with him."Fine by me." She smirked walking to the bed and sat down looking at him.Alex slowly slipped the sleeve of her shirt off her shoulder waiting for him

 Alex smirked and took off her jacket.She was in nothing but a belly shirt/corset."Your a smarta**." Alex kissed his lips before sitting on his waist."Any particular place you want rubbed?" Alex chuckled kissing the back of his neck (No mask and no gloves)

he smiled at the soft smack. "thats what happens when you fix the house when some of the statues fall over and break." he said know he was the one that had to fix them.
