"I don't know." Mira answer the nurses question first. "I don't know those ******** drugs did to him. He just laughing uncontrollably and said some nonsenses.... Then some other stuff happen." She responded to her, not much to tell of what happen to the new boy. Mira turn, letting the nurse do her work of helping the boy, only to see a stranger speaking to her.
"Gene-X happen." Mira crossed her arms, her chicks ontop of her head moved down and landed onto her now open shoulders. "Just another fool decided to take their stupid drugs. He's coughing up to much blood." She sighed as she said it, can very tell that she dislike the school providing those kind of things.

Mira watch as the guy leave with something on his mind. Her eyes turn back to ryker, strapped in a stretcher. He very much look as if he is on his way to death rode... She turn her gaze away and exit away the clinic long after Nzyme left. Mira will not be of any help waiting for the boys condition... she doesn't even know him. She shouldn't even care for someone like him weak enough to even think relying on drugs... Mira feels tired.

"Now now", the nurse's assistant would say, "You know as well as I do that people come to this island for that very reason, to take this Gene-X. Some...well...some have a more violent reaction to it than others, and it heavily depends on what Gene-X they have taken". The nurse rested her chin on her fist looking thoughtfully at the ceiling.... "This is odd...I've never heard of these symptoms before. An unknown black energy in his ki stream, unintelligible words, chronic laughing......my records show nothing of this happening in the past". She looked at Mira, her gaze quizzical. She then asked, "Tell me, you said he started to say weird things....could you make out some of it? Further information on what happened could help stabilize him faster. As of right now he isn't in any serious life threatening circumstances....but his body is still going through a rough time". ((Oh...I think you posted while I was in the process of posting. xD .... It's up to you on what you want to do.))

Mira look up to the nurse. "I don't know what he was saying. Just sound like gibberish to me, at least what I learned in English... He keep repeating "Phin-glu mig-law-nafh.... Cethul-hu Rlyeh... wagh-nagl fagn or something..." Mira try to say out what she remember the boy said wile in his trance. It's not exact since she doesn't have a good tongue but it's close enough.

The nurse immediately covered her mouth in shock as she whispered aloud, "Dark Portal....", immediately she ran over to the intercom system and quickly said, "Nurse Brooks, nurse brooks, your assistance is immediately requested in the foyer. I repeat, your presence is immediately requested". Running over to Ryker's room, she glanced inside to check on the patient, only to see Ryker severely laughing with a whole lot of dark energy seeping off from his skin, rising to the ceiling. "Oh...oh my", she then ran out scrounging and scrambling for tools and papers, though seeing the girl still waiting out of the corner of her eye, she said, "Oh um...your presence is no longer required. Thank you for bringing the lad here and have a good day". She said that in speedy haste as if she was now responding to some kind of inherent emergency. What exactly was this Dark Portal the nurse mentioned?

Gonna keep on fighting, fighting for destiny."   Another day of daving lives was another day Danielle was grateful for her gift. But with every instance she was beginning to learn there was less and less she could do for those who had gone too far in to their new-found abilities. Danielle rushed as quickly as she could to one such student who seemed to be suffering with one of the more potent strains. "Goodness, nobody ever comes through for a routine check-up anymore." Danielle thought about it for a second...dismissing it wasn't exactly as easy as she'd like it to be. Sure, he wouldn't feel it, but the effects would still be there...numbing him was pointless. She did have one idea, however. Ryker wasn't in critical condition as far as she could tell, but he wasn't far off. Danielle wasn't nearly as frightened as she should've been considering how often she'd dealt with this. She put a hand on Ryker's forehead and held his right arm still. "Would you kindly sedate our patient? I can't focus while he's like this." Danielle's own special talents were already in play, snaking their way through Ryker's own ki...drowning it, even. Crude, possibly painful for the subject, but effective. This was why Danielle suggested sedation for the patient in the first place.

Responding to the head nurses orders, the nurses assistant was able to grab ahold and press down on Ryker's arm, injecting him with a powerful sedative. Yet even when she was doing this, Ryker began to laugh even harder. His eyes were closed, it was if he was laughing in his sleep. Dark energy the likes of which she had never seen began swirling around them at a ferocious rate, and then Ryker himself began speaking in a eerie, cosmic like, horrific voice that repeated the phrase, "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" , over and over again....his voice rising with each sentence. The air around them would grow chill, and the heart monitor would indicate that his heart beat was increasing. Whatever the head nurse was doing, something inside Ryker was fighting back fiercely.

Mira only could scratch at the back of her head as the nurse acted nervously about something about Dark portal. Now Mira doesn't know anything about the ability's the Gene-X give people. Only that being a drug means no good. When the nurse suggested Mira to leave since she no longer her help, even as if Ryker is turning out bad the girl apply. Seeing that she can't very much help out right now. Ryker's like is in the doctors hands now. With her chicks, Mira head out, trying to set her mind at ease.

Gonna keep on fighting, fighting for destiny." Danielle refused to lose focus, it was at times like this when she had to be at the top of her game. Danielle's eyes narrowed at Ryker's speech. "That detestable name again...it's the same each time." Danielle shook her head, determining that medicine would not quell this. She still had a few things she had yet to try. She hadn't placed her hand on his forehead for show, after all. Danielle was attempting to subdue Ryker's 'Third Eye Chakra', as it were. It may decrease the hold of whatever was causing Ryker's pains, and even if it didn't decrease in power, that was fine. She'd drown out Ryker's ki until there was nothing left, and perhaps keep things normal for a moment. Whatever it was could fight all it wanted, heck, it could completely take over Ryker, but with no energy left...was there really a body to control? This "temporary death" was Danielle's main plan, but she had a few more in case smothering Ryker's ki failed.

Whatever the nurse did, Ryker's body began to become silent. The darkness slowly dissipated, his heart rate steadily decreasing, the air became progressively warmer. Getting rid of the ki was probably the best thing the nurse could have done to settle Ryker's episode, and then soon...all was normal. Ryker laid there eyes closed breathing steadily, still unconscious, most likely due to the combination of the sedative and the ordeal he just went through. Still however, Ryker would have a high fever, and his body would shake and shiver strongly every once in awhile. His eye twitching indicated he was dreaming, and from his reaction...it wasn't a pleasant dream. Little did the head nurse know....Ryker was battling a war of his own, a war of wills. Something was talking to him within his mind's eye....something horrific...something maddening. It would be unknown at the time whether or not Ryker would be the one to wake up in his body, or someone completely different....someone who has seen oblivion. It would all come down to his will....and blind luck. The only thing the nurse could do right now was keep his body intact, it was now up to Ryker to decide when his ordeal would be over.

Within Ryker's mind, a battle of wills was taking place. Horrific images began to swarm and infest his subconsciousness. The images told him of great beings of power far beyond his comprehension inhabiting an extra dimensional plane of existence. Beings that had more of an influence on mortal kind then anybody could care to realize. These were not just creatures, they were gods of unfathomable power, and one in particular was speaking to him. He couldn't see it, he couldn't comprehend it, yet he knew what was speaking to him could easily break his mind and bend him to his will if he so chose to. Was it even an he? A she? It seemed to surpass mere gender identity. The sheer prospect and presence of it's words began to twist, torture, and press upon Ryker's pysche. And even though he couldn't understand what it was saying, at the same time he could. He could make out the words amongst all the noise...it spoke in a language so mind boggling horrific, he could not imagine the consequences if such language was discovered and taught to the people. Even it's words held a ridiculous amount of power. It spoke to Ryker, it spoke to him of chaos and destruction, the meaningless of his pathetic existence, the worthlessness of life.......And Ryker could not bring himself to disagree with this.....God. Ryker was scared, but at the same time....enthralled. Be it an intentional action made by the dark god or be it an internal reaction based on his own original beliefs, Ryker's inner mind eye was being opened by this magnificent fiend. This god was teaching him so much already....he wanted to know more. He had to know more! Ryker was almost about to surrender to this god's influence, to soak in it's forbidden knowledge of which he longed to obtain.....but then...he woke up.

"I'm......alive"? Ryker blinked, ignoring the nurses question. Lifting up his hands he put them in front of his eyes....feeling his face...almost as if to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. "Holy hell....I'm actually alive", he said. There was no happiness or sadness to his voice, just an odd monotone that was devoid of emotion...as per the usual in Ryker's case, he wasn't one to over react even in the most dire of situations. Though as his awareness came back, Ryker started to feel woozy...and slight pain racked the whole of his body. It wasn't unbearable, it was uncomfortable. It felt as if his entire body was put through an intense training course, then pumped full of sugar, and now he was experiencing an extreme sugar crash. He was exhausted, nauseous, and overall not feeling very well....But as far as Ryker could tell, that was all he was suffering from. It was a far cry from what he remembered experiencing. Putting his hands down he turned to the nurse and said, "I..I'm fine nurse...errr....just a bit sick is all", Ryker blinked...what was that he just saw? A flash of images streaked across his eyes. They were like brief, speed running movie clips. A flash of fire here, a reveal of some kind of blood on the wall there....all ending in a giant, bulbous, nightmarish looking eye staring straight at him....all of it disappearing in a second. It wasn't just images, they seemed like holographic projections....surely he wasn't the only one who saw it!? The nurse had to see it to right? Sitting there wide eyed, Ryker managed to say...."D...d...did you see any of that"?
