One could see the relief that flooded over the nergal boil's countenance, and his fingertips almost idly ran their way halfway up the ghoul's spine as he took in a deep, soothing breath. "Good...I was afraid they'd hassle you...I've never really had much by way of a ghoulfriend before, not the sort that counts, at least." Not like you do... He really had gotten lucky, if he'd snagged a demon lass that could put up with his aunts and their constant nagging and overprotective manner. Ah, and now here was the question...one that was currently hanging in an almost fearful manner about Sharra's headspace. "And ah...what did you tell them?" No matter that he knew she adored him, somehow, the exotic beauty always managed to bring out what little insecurity he did have by her rather extensive merit. He didn't see himself as equal to her radiance, not by a long shot.

Ah Jack, she'd really turned him into a sap.

Smiling, he saw the stage clear and moved in, dragging Christof behind him. He was met with a jerk as Christof refused to budge. "Come ooonnnn. We're going to sing. It's going to be amazing." He pulled again, and still no go. Damn! The boil was going into panic, stutter mode and he was sure it would happen soon.

Grabbing the one hand he had in both of his, he pushed off and winced. OH! THAT WAS NOT A SMART IDEA! Then again, walking with a bad hoof wasn't, but it wasn't like he cared about being careful. He continued to push, dragging Christof on stage. "Come onnnn. The ghouls will love you for it. Everyone likes a singer, and I don't want to do this alone. This is one of the best things about having a mouth anyways. You liked the other thing that you found out about mouths. Now try this too! You were okay with everything else like cupcakes and lip locking." He huffed, and when he managed to drag the patchwork on stage enough, he grabbed a mic and handed it to him. SWEET!

"We're just winging this by the way." He pointed out, tossing out that Chrsitof was going to just sing whatever came to mind. Probably not the best idea when Christof wanted to run off to a ghoul. Finding some tune, he shrugged, guessed the one he saw was okay (he had no idea), and turned it on. There was a loud shriek as the scareoke machine started up and then a jolly tune started. Oh, this was a fun tune. Much better than some mean loud song or something OMG depressing!

Aksaja was just leaning against a wall when he saw candies suddenly scattered across the floor. Raising brows just a bit, he bent down to try and pick some up. Wouldn't hurt to make a good impression, right? "Hey, here you go," the lightning dragon said, offering the candy he'd picked up to Shine.

She chuckled softly, breath tickling along the line of his neck and sending that wondrous scent of cologne back to her. By jack it was a lovely scent, and suited the nergal to perfection. His fingers trailed along her spine, bringing a sigh to the djinn's lips as she let herself sink even further into his arms. "I was a little wary to read the letter, when it came, but was pleasantly surprised by the content."

One dark hand drifted from his shoulders to smooth down the front of his designer vest, coming down to trace the silk face of his tie. The question he asked her was expected, but she still didn't answer right away. Instead taking a brief moment to straighten his skull tie pin. "I haven't written back yet." She could have left it at that, but it would have been entirely too cruel. "But I plan to, tomorrow." Wandering fingers stilled, curling along his shoulder.

She knew what he wanted to hear, though putting something so vastly important into a short answer was incredibly difficult. Finally though she smiled, nuzzling her cheek against him. "I do believe they'll approve of my response." She punctuated her point with a kiss to the throat, lips brushing his skin in three silent little words as she drew back.

The song started and Calder smiled, looking at Christof. He already proved during the Truth or Dare night that he could whip up a poem, so quick singing was easy. It was nothing for him to do, and seeing as he was having a song with his friend, why not sing about friendship. Corny? Yes. Totally badass? Calder thought so. The song started and he started with a nice beginning verse.

Christof stood, stunned like a reigndeer in headlights as he suddenly found himself on stage. He... really had no say in the matter did he? He rarely did. It was commanded, he do it. But... but THIS... he had hoped their experiment would remain a secret. He had hoped he wouldn't have to explain his speaking situation to anyone, let alone.... EVERYONE. He hoped Calder found himself lost and frozen in the hills of Christmas for cutting his stitches. And Morrigan was still waiting. He didn't even know this song, but the music started and he had no choice but attempt to sing along... But... but he was good at words, truthfully. He wrote a lot, and knew he could be clever at times... and... and it was another lesson from the Kelpie, and after forcing him through his sad attempts at Igor training where Calder was probably humiliated plenty but... in front of his MISTRESS? In front of Barth and Sin and Amrita and Morrigan oh Fear Alive Morrigan... he prayed she stayed glued to the bench and did not have to witness this.

He looked at the words for a little while, but suddenly Calder had sent him first... He bitterly glared as for the first time in his life, the Igor sang in public.


Calder looked over to his friend, noticing that what was suppose to be a nice song had quickly changed it's tone. Seemed it wasn't going to be all compliments and pretty words. Well, if he wanted to get huffy in a song, Calder could play that game too. So what if it wasn't the time or place. For Calder, it was almost always the time and place.


((Based on that Family Guy Song Please note that Calder has a Scottish accent and Christof basically sounds like young Chekov with a lisp. If we wrote their lines completely phonetically no one would understand a thing. XD ))

He closed his eyes for a moment, pondering over he words and nodding a touch as he did so. The boil would have been a bit more than wary had he received such a parcel from such biddies as his aunts clearly were. Not that Sharra was one to underestimate them, the demon ladies would have fought tooth and nail for his well-being should they think it required. Mind, Sharra was under the impression that his ghoulfriend would pass their rigorous inspection with flying colors. "That's good, they can be intensely overbearing when they've gone on a crusade." Sighing, he leaned to nuzzle at back at her, the little touches and affection like water droplets, and the nergal was altogether too willing a sponge.

And when she whispered to him, her velvety lips brushing against the soft skin of the nergal boil's throat, he shivered, sure that the tips of his ears had gone red. "And I you..." Just a murmur, as he stepped back and leaned forward, to touch his forehead gingerly to hers. "I must say I approve of your response as I think they will also..." His fingers slipped from their grasp about her waist, catching her wrist and moving further down yet, intertwining his digits with hers, so that he could give a subtle squeeze.

Best. Party. Ever.

Minus Christof and Calder's singing. That was the touch that could sour any mood. Ah Jack. Sighing once more, chest heaving once beneath the ghoul's fingertips, he shook his head. "Seems like someone else is having fun..." Sharra's ears just weren't any longer.
