Shou then gave a powerful step forward with his left leg, leaving a plume of smoke in his wake. Tensing all of the muscled in his body, starting with his hips, he thrust his sword forward violently. That familiar ringing sound wasn't present. He must have been reaching his physical limit. Bukijutsu stage (1): training post 4/5
With his left foot forward and right arm extended in a thrust, Shou began a dropping motion with his body. He the stepped forward with his right leg as he fell to his left knee and planted his free left hand firmly on the ground. Bringing his sword wielding right arm, closer to his body. Shou looks as if he were ready to fight a 4 legged beast eye to eye. Shou flipped his sword 180 degrees in his hand so that the blade was now in reverse grip. He then gave a brutal arching swing backwards, as if to Stan an enemy in his blind spot. Bukijutsu stage (1): training post 5/5
Shou didn't have the energy to stand back up so he collapsed on the floor while catching his breath. "Maybe I will just rest here for the last few hour, until Artemis arrives." He thought to himself. He still had his Eiseijutsu to practice once she arrived.
Shou had awoken from his slumber feeling quite rested. Turned out he had been asleep for several hours after his training. He assumed that Artemis couldn't find him because he was hidden away doing academy student training. This was no issue however, he was sure to run into her again around the training grounds or academy. Shou was eager for more training so he rolled backwards and lifted self up onto a handstand. Pushin off with his hands his feet were now firmly planted on the ground. "now where is that too that I heard those kids talking about earlier he muttered to himself as he walked off aimlesley.
Shou made his way back to the academy keeping an eye out for Artemis. The academy was massive and so many shinobi, in training were darting to and from classes. Shou decided his time would be best spent in the medical wing of the school. After all this is what he truly needed to focus on, if he was going to be a valued member of the village. As Shou arrived in the medical wing, he was frozen in awe.not only did the academy have multiple rooms dedicated to medical studies, but they also had more equipment than he could ever imagine. This was a huge stop up from working with herbs and makeshift tools, with his aunt back in his forest village. Shou would waste no time in diving into his studies. Shou began with reviewing the basics his Aunt had taught him, but he would compare her methods to the schools detailed scroll. Making sure to get a clear understanding of all the jutsu.
Borrowing a fish from the practice tank. Shou placed the living fish onto a preset scroll table. He then created a small incision on the fish. Immediately he he placed both hands over the fish purring his chakra into his hands. After a few seconds he romped his hands to see that the fish was completely healed of the cut. With the first fish still out of the tank and on the verge of suffocation, Shou quickly grabbed another fish and placed it beside the first one. He then placed one hand on each fish and began to lend the life force of the new fish to the first fish. They were both wiggling fiercely and the procedure was a success. Shou then placed both fish back in the tank. Gien to Kairan [ Donation and Circulation ] Rank: E
Shou then realized how filthy his hands were from handling the fish. This was the perfect opportunity to try out the next technique. He held his hand out in front of him and concentrated on cleansing all the bacteria from his hands. It was a success, he felt as though his hands had been washed clean in a cold spring. After reading the next scroll Shou would find something very new and useful. A technique that could be moderately used on himself. And after his long day of training he figured he would be the best lab rat for these techniques. Shou mimicked the scroll to the smallest detail, massaging himself all over and hitting pressure points. He was slowly starting to feel rejuvenated and full of energy. Shiatsu [ Massage ] Rank: E
The final scroll in the beginners pile, Shou would need someone to extract something out of. As he didn't want to torture the fish anymore he merely grabbed a toothpick and splintered it. Taking one of the splinters and pushing it into his thigh. He then placed his hands on both sides of the splinter and slowly extracted it. The would was so small that it left no blood or pain. Shou successfully completed the academy level basics for his medical arts. He decided to sit there and read the material once over in hope to truly understand the inner workings of chakra manipulation and healing
Shou packed away all of the old material and fetched new scrolls from the archives. The training was simple so far but he was beginning to understand the importance of the medical field. He would be sure to help everyone in his path, but to do that he needed more knowledge.
Shou found a scroll on bandage wrapping techniques. This was something that would definitely come in handy in the near future. Practicing on himself. Shou covered over 10 different wrapping techniques, seeing as different parts of the body requires different methods. Show spent a good deal of time perfecting the techniques and commuting them to memory through reputation. Gantai no Jutsu [ Bandage Skill ] Rank: D
Shou went to a cabinet labeled: Toxins & Antidotes. He proceeded to look for non lethal posin like that of a spider. Once he had found the the venom and antidote combination he was comfortable with, he went and sat in his lab chair. Shou then stuck himself with a syringe small dose of the spider venom and Immediately cover the incision point with both hands. Inittialy there was a burning sensation but slightly it lessened. Shou removed his hands and the gave himself the antidote. Shou hoped he would never have to worry about removing poison from hisself again however, he would prepare for such an event. Shou grabbed a fresh fish and placed it on the table. The fish was moving fiercely, grasping for a breath of water. Shou would balance his hands ove the fish and picture the blood of the fish circulating to all parts of its body. The fish seemed to relax. It didn't grasp for air but Shou didn't want push it. Considering this a success, he tossed the fish back into the tank where it swam off calmly. Ketsuekijunkan [ Circulation of the Blood ] Rank: D
Shou took a fresh wish out of the tank and sadly had to let it suffocate to the point of near death. The fish Was slowing down and not moving as vigorously, so Shou acted quickly. Placing both hand over the fish he envisioned the heart and lungs, expanding and contracting. After a few seconds, the fish was Bach to its original state of panic. Shou the. Quickly tossed the vivacious fish back into the tank with the others. Sansokyoukyuu [ Oxygen Supply ] Rank: D
Shou was very intrigued by viruses and poisons. This was common thing to be seen on the battlefield. Many shinobi would lace their weapons with poison and aim to just graze another shinobi with the weapon. Shou didn't want his colleagues to suffer such painful fates. Shou went back to the cabinet and found some risky viruses along with the appropriate antidote. He sat Mack in his chair and again injected himself and immediately put both hands over the injection point. Focusing on pulling all toxins out Shou had successfully thrown some of the infected blood into the sink next to him. Feeling dizzy he gave himself the antidote and rested his body Byoukin Tekijo [ Virus Removal ] Rank: D
Shou started off his next set of training with some far more advanced scroll. He knew he had to push his limits if he was going to be of any use to the villagers.
Shou took a scalpel and made a small incision on his leg as he sat him his lab chair. The shallow cut barely made him wince with pain.shou then placed his hands over the fun and concentrated. He could feel the light pressure of the chakra ball around his hands as the cut slowly began to heal itself. He was successful, the cut was entirely gone not even a scar. Chiyute No Jutsu: Karui [ Healing Hands Technique: Minor ] Rank: C
Shou would take the healing hands technique even further with the more advanced scroll. This time he would need to use a fish. He could use an already dead one be healing cuts. Shou made a deep incision in the side of the fish. Shou Immediately placed his heads over the fish and began to focus. He noticed that the wound wasn't healing as fast as the first techniques. He focused and lured everything he had into the chakra ball. Shou had failed, the wound had only healed partially. (1/3) Shou placed his hands over the fish once more, focusing with all of his might, purring every ounce of healing thought into his hands. Show was doing much better than the first time around. Slowly but surely the wound began to close even more, until it was fully sealed. Show wore a massive smile. (2/3) For the final stage Shou had to be sure this would work on himself in battle. He reached for the scalpel and placed towels under his leg as not to make a mess. Quickly and smoothly, Shou gave himself a nuclear deep cut across the leg. Dropping the scalpel, as he saw the blood rushing out, he immediately slammed his hands over the wound. Putting all of his intent on the chakra bubble he began to feel forming up. The pain was slightly lessened and Shou could see that the blood had stopped. Lifting up hand jumped up, with a fist to the air, in silent celebration. Shou then walked back over to the freezer and grabbed another dead fish placing it on the table next to the technique scroll. He placed his hand over the fish and focused on not healing the wounds of the fish, but destroying the muscles and fibers that were inside. He watched as the fish gave a slight wiggle and it seemed to be more limp than when he started. He could feel that the muscles were no longer intact. (1/3) Keeping his hands on the fish he then began to refocus. Changing his chakra from a destructive for to that of healing. Taking a deep breath he pictures all of the muscles and vibes being correctly attached to their rightful place. Should could feel the fish moving back into its stiff positioning of attachment. (2/3) Not wasting any time Shou immediately switched his focus. He wants to be able to switch from repairing to destruction in an instant. With widening eyes and murderous intent, should unleashed his chakra onto the fish, causing it to shake much more fiercely than it had before. He could hear the sounds of the muscles shredding apart. Sho grabbed another dead fish but this time it was fresh. He then made an incision in its side to start the bleeding. Performing the proper hand seals. Shou placed his hands over the wound. This jutsu worked much faster than the basic techniques. The blood almost instantly stopped flowing from the fish. (1/3) After grabbing another fresh fish, Shou would this time cutting deeper into the fish assuring it would bleed out faster. He quickly performed the proper hand seals and placed his hands on the wound. While not as fast as the first shallow cut, the deeper cut still seemed to heal remarkably fast. (2/3) For the final test, Shou set up more towels and prepared himself. Again slashing at his own leg, slightly deeper than last time, forcing him to wince from the pain. Shou performed the hand seals before he had even realized it, quickly slamming his hands on the bleeding wound. As the pressure built up the blood flow subsided until there was none. He had successfully suppressed the bleeding.(3/3) Shiketsuzai [ Bleeding Suppression ] Rank: B
Before moving on to the next technique, Shou performed healing hands on his wound, to prevent bruising and scaring. Cleaning up his mess Shou prepared for the final technique of the day, as it was getting very late. He performed a series of hand signs and focused on chakra surrounding his hands. He could feel a light, cooling, pressure surround them (1/3) Next Shou would grab a dead fish and place it on his workstation. Again he formed the hand seals and focused on covering his entire hand in chakra. Once he got that familiar sensation in his hands he began to carve slices onto the surface of the fish. It was amazing, as if he had an invisible blade at his disposal.(2/3) Finally Shou would test out the final use for the technique. Forming the hand seals and focusing intently, Shou poured the last of his energy into this one. Once that familiar sensation had returned, he pictured the bones of the fish and imagined the he could break the bones without cutting the flesh. With one swift slicing motion, Shou would hear the snapping of the fishes tail bone. This technique could save his life one day, he pondered to himself. Shou then cleaned his work station and put away all of his scrolls. But as he was putting the s rolls away he noticed a technique that he had some curiosity about. It was a simple technique he already learned however, Shou began to thing of other implementations of such a powerful jutsu. Shou sat at the desk reading well into the night, after an hour passed, Shou had passed out directly on the scroll, fast asleep he had earned a good rest.
Show awoke to the yammering of academy students. He quickly lifted his head, out of shock and embarrassment, pretending to have just been reading. But to his surprise, no on r even looked his way. Maybe this was s common thing to happen st the academy. Shou quickly cleaned the desk and returned the Eiseijutsu scrolls to their proper places. Opting to keep training he grabbed some complimentary food from the cafeteria and went back to the library. Today he would focus on cultivating his elemental jutsu skill outside.
Shou took his stance in the field and formed a set of hand signs. He then pictured in his mind, water building up directly in front of him, as if he had control of gravity. To his surprise the water had formed together in a small amorphous blob, floating directly in front of him. Shou had successfully learned is first elemental jutsu. Shou set up a target 4 feet in front of him as posed as if he were in a mock battle. After dipping his fingers in water, he crouched low as preparing for an enemy charge. After taking a breath to focus, Shou flicked his finer fiercely. Hearing the faint sound of something cutting though the air, and then a loud "pop" noise. After investigating the target, Shou realized that he had hit dead center. Mizu no Waruasobi [ Trick of Water ] Rank: E
Walking over to a tree with a cup of water, Shou put his back to the tree and the cup on the ground. Being as stealthy as possible, Shou formed some hand signs and and focused on the cup of water. Pulling out enough water to cover a playing card, he lifted it to eye level and pictured a mirror in his head. The warmer now reflected his eye. He had full control of the water mirror as he angled it to see behind the tree. He released the jutsu and the water fell to the grass. Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [ Water Mirror Technique ] Rank: E
Shou retrieved a projectile target board from the supply building and set it up in the field. He then walked 20 feet from the target, where he fills is cheeks with water from his cup. Focusing on his breathing he formed a hand sign and released the jutsu in rapid succession. Hitting his target 5 times, he was overjoyed. Hewondered if this could have some use in battle. After cleaning up after his target practice, Shou sat in the ford reading the last of his academy student scrolls for Suiton. This last technique would be essential if his bow was broken on the battlefield. Show knee it oils take some time to manifest something as big as a bow, but he has to start somewhere. Shou formed the proper hand seals and opened his left hand. Immediately water began pooling and taking form. He had successfully formed a small wakizashizi. This would be better than nothing on the battlefield. Mizu no Yaiba [ Water Sword ] Rank: X [learned as E]
Shou sat in the academy court, hair tied back, wearing a massive smile across his sweaty tan face. Staring up at the clouds, he wondered how long it would take before he was at the same skill level as his parents. Surely they would be proud of him for surpassing their skills. Suddenly struck with a massive wave of inspirational energy, Shou leapt to his feet with his arms stretched out to the heavens. Producing a quite distracting sound of excitement, he closed his eyes and made two fists with his outstretched hands. " just watch me!" he shouted to the clouds as if he could see his parents in his mind. As Shou opened his eyes to the cloud filled sky he noticed a bright light that was nowhere near the sun, followed by a faint "pop" sound. As if it had punched a hole in the clouds, the mysterious object only grew brighter. Other students slowly began to look up after seeing Shou's confused face. They had never seen anything like this before, it was mesmerizing in its own way. As almost everyone looked upwards he light became blinding. As Shou would drop one hand to cover his eyes, mysterious objet would only continue at its current speed. As he peeked through his fingers, letting in the blinding light, he was overwhelmed by the beauty of it. As if the gods were casting jutsu in celebration. Shou smiles like a mad man. And in an instant, shou saw nothing but binding white light. The mysterious object was a fragment of a passing asteroid. The meteorite had pierced through Shou's hand and head, like a soft melon, leaving nothing above his shoulders. For a brief second a red mist was seen, mixed with chunks of skull and dreaded hair. This was quickly covered up by the impact of the meteorite hitting the school grounds, ripping Shou's body to shreds, and throwing dust and rocks around where he had be training. Many of the bloomers were thrown to the ground by the impact and even more felt the shockwave however, none but Shou were severely injured. Shou would briefly be known as "that old academy student" because the students had seen his upwards struggle, learning the the bare basics. [skip to Shou after dying]
Shou opened his eyes slowly. Sill encompassed by a blinding white light. He could barely make out two figures in front of him, his eyes had not yet adjusted. Shou's expression quickly changed when one of the figures spoke. "even without our guidance you still managed to become a great warrior. We are so sorry that you had such a rough path to walk alone." shou froze staring at the blurred figures before him. He need not ask who they were, as the warm embrace that followed those words, spoke volumes. Tears flowed down his face as the image of his parents came into focus. T

Belamos stood, leaning against a column in the academy's recreation room as he awaited Vivian's arrival. His mind kept returning to his humiliation at Horus's hands, at his forced submissiveness to the man 'God damn him, I will show him his inferiority one day. By my Father, I swear it' Inwardly, he knew it would take time...a lot of time. He would have to gather followers and power. The later was much easier than the first, however, but he had a solid start. Vivian was very much like himself, one of the select few whom he called his equals. Now it was just a matter of waiting for the damn women to show up!
While waiting for Vivian, Belamos decided to knock out a few of the baseline Katon Ninjutsu. He was already passively resistant to flames so that was that. He added some chakra to his skin and made it far more so. The next one was also simple. He exhaled and a large amount of fire spewed out of his mouth. It was weak, but bright. Maybe enough to intimidate, he knew not. Now, clapping his hands, a bright white flash happened. It would slightly blind anyone who looked at him. It didn't produce any fire, nor heat, so he wasn't particularly interested in any of that. Now, it was an interesting one. He snapped his fingers and created a small spark nearby. He could use this to light sources quiet easily. Nice to see

Vivan entered the doors of the academy with a smile on her face. The young lady looked around the room and spotted Belamos. 'Ah there he is.' It was the agreed upon spot to meet each other but, Vivian had to admit that she was late. Fashionably late that was. The girl gracefully walked her way over to the man who seemed disgruntled by something. It was more than likely that meeting with Horace. She knew how that man could be and he was absolutely horrid. "What's wrong darling?" Vivian would ask Belamos as she came close to him. The girl would stop about two feet from him, smiling at him. The girl's head would tilt in curiosity as she waited for his answer.

His head snapped up at the sound of an approaching intruder. Had it been anyone else, he would have turned them to ash where they stood, but Vivian alone received passes that none would have normally. Astute as ever, she recognized his frustration and inquired about it. A small ring of fire briefly flared up around his feet as he recalled his encounter with Horace in anger "That man Vivian. He looks down upon us! US! I will put my blade through his throat, this I swear to you, I will rid us of these filthy mongrels" Thankfully, though, they were alone for nobody to hear his outburst. While the UHV was still not popular, they did call the shots. Both him and Vivian knew they would be playing their game for a long time to come

Vivian couldn’t help but let out a slight giggle at Belamos’s our burst. ”Shhhhh. There may be no one around but the walls have eyes and ears.” The girl would say to him as she gently lifted her finger up and placed it on his lips. ”Don’t worry about it. I’m sure he’s just having a stressful day. And it’s not a secret that he dislikes the presence of us. Even though he’s fine using us in his war. We just be good soldiers like the rest of them.” Vivian would let her finger down, dropping to her waist. ”Did you get my stuff I need to be considered a shinobi?”

With a grunt of disgust, he flung tossed the headband and patch to her, tilting his head away from her finger so that he could speak "I did, but I would never wear such an ugly thing. It's not befitting of a Lord, and will not find itself garbed upon myself" Taking his 'headband' out, he would watch as the fabric burned in his hands, leaving behind the pure metal protector piece which he would make a note to attach to the inside of his battle vestments sooner or later. Belamos would let out an exasperated sigh and let himself sag against the nearest wall "There cretins do not deserve us, my dear. We have to become more powerful and force them to see the true splendor of our presence. I will show this village what the magnificence of a King truly is!" Pushing himself off against the wall, he twirled his Lance and then buried it deeply in the wood paneling next to him "We have much training to do and will need each other more than ever in the months to come. We are air and fire; to each other a boon and to our enemies a raging inferno." Smiling at his partner, he would take her hand in his "Let us consume the filth in our blaze"

Vivian moved her hand up and caught the headband in her right hand and caught the patch with her left. The girl would then take the headband and wrap it around her waist. "Think of it as a show of our power." Vivian would say as she tied a knot in the band. The girl had to admit he was a dreamer. It was a quality she enjoyed in him. However, the mutual hatred of the UHV was definitely a plus. "Yes I have lots of training to do as well. However, we're going to have to play nice with whoever immediate leader is to get missions so that we can earn credit and renown with the village." Vivian would shrug gently. The girl would start thinking of the jutsus she needed to learn. It was mostly things to help her with sensing at the moment. But, she also needed to learn something for her bow.
