Luke still could not sleep and found himself dazily sitting next to his sister's door, rocking from side to side a little. Shadowish beasts danced tauntingly through his blurring vision as he just sat there, mumbling incoherently. His mind as already in a tail spin from the exhaustion of no sleep and the worry for his sister and everyone else.
Lunora was still sitting by her window, watching the utter downpour that was coming down. Yet she had something she didn't before. A simple little knife. Maybe if she scarred what made her so beautiful, she could deter any more heartbreak to the wizard. With even a sigh, she raised her blade to the base of her long braid. The symbol that made any fox demon beautiful. Such a luscious symbol of beauty she didn't think she deserved anymore. She was ready to just chop the braid off.

I am but a dragon.  Searan and Demetri had been having a staring contest, and Searan could practically feel the time ticking by. Each second was another wasted, and the dragon was starting to get antsy. Finally, he growled lowly and took another step towards the wizard, who didn't even finch. "Do I need to force you to go back?" he demanded harshly, completely prepared to do so. "Lost in this world of love and war."  Demetri was definitely trying to piss Searan off, but it caught him off guard when he felt the boy's fist collide with his already bruised cheek, sending him to the ground. The dragon was glaring at him now, and finally, Demetri had to look away. No, he couldn't just keep going with the flow and hope for the best, but clearly, as Searan had intended, he realized he couldn't run away. "Fine," he said, and he ignored Searan completely as he transported himself back to the castle. The first thing he looked towards was Lunora's window, and through it, he could see her sitting with a knife in her hand. Without even thinking, he transported himself to the balcony and pushed through the doors, grabbing for the knife and throwing it across the room so it land harmlessly on the ground. He looked down at Lunora, shocked. "What was that?!"

Lunora glanced to her hand that had held the knife only a moment earlier. Her face was blank, devoid of the emotions she'd used to express. Even the stubbornness and anger she had snapped at him with. She let go of her braid to glance at the wizard as if he had just casually walked up to her. Her eyes studied him, but something was missing. Something was missing from those amber orbs he had so coveted. The fire was gone. And there was no trace of it left. This was worse than when Demetri had first come to her as a child when she was grieving. There was not a fox sitting before him. Just a shell.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri was waiting for something, anything. He was waiting for Lunora to yell at him, hit him, do anything... But she just stared and blinked, stared...and blinked. Demetri knelt down, staring at her eyes, and frowned. "What's wrong?" he asked quietly. He hesitated for a moment, before slowly reaching out and putting his hand on her shoulder, shaking her gently. Lightning illuminated the room and her dead eye before the thunder crashed in Demetri's ears, like a death sentence. Where was the fox? Where was the demon? What had barely a night done to her?

The shell of a girl glanced to his hand, her soulless eyes just slowly going from his hand to the other side of her, making her turn her head from the wizard. Even as he shook her a little, she just didn't do anything. Except just say something. Even that seemed to have had her tone of determination, strength, and slight mothering intent had been ripped from her slender throat. "I... am a defective creature...."

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri just watched her slow movements, and his frown deepened with every single one. "Defective?" he echoed hollowly. Shaking his head, he looked at her again. "There's no way you're defective. You're too strong, too determined, too loyal," he said softly. He grimaced a little at his words, but he couldn't put anything else into it. He wasn't good with words. So, instead, he leaned forward, gently pressing his lips to hers in a soft kiss and pulling back to look into her eyes. "You are most certainly not defective."

Lunora quietly listened to his words, her mind barely absorbing anything. But what seemed to shock her back was just that kiss. That one little kiss. After Demetri broke that kiss, the demon sat there for a moment before leaning her head on his shoulder, her body starting to shake with sobs. She suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck, gripping his coat before pushing him back and socking him right in the nose. "Don't you dare leave like that again, you idiot!" she yelled with her usual fire. She then sat on his lap, gripping his cheeks. "Don't you dare." she said before grabbing his collar and pulling him into a kiss.
Luke glanced to the door at his sister's yelling. He simply smiled and sighed. "Back to normal.... Night night time..." with that he fell over, out cold.

"Lost in this world of love and war." When Lunora started to cry, Demetri wanted to panic. He didn't do well with tears. But he swallowed hard and put his arms around her, just letting her sob. When she grabbed his coat, then punched him, he sat back, shocked (though he'd expected some sort of violence). Just before he reached up to rub his now sore nose, he looked at her, shocked at her words. "Idiot?" he managed to ask before he found himself being kissed by her. It took him a second to think, but soon he wrapped his arms around her waist, smiling happily. I am but a dragon. Searan stomped up the steps of the castle, still soaking wet, and now covered with mud, thanks to that stupid wizard and his magic explosion in his hurry to get back to the castle. "Stupid, blasted, idiotic, heart-breaking, creature-meddling, no-good, bruised up, wimpy wizard!" he muttered as he passed a conked out Luke on the way to his room. [OOC:] Searan needed to do something funny.

Lunora soon broke the kiss and put her forehead against his. She gave a small sigh before glancing at him. "That doesn't leave this room, got it?" she asked, but not waiting for an answer as she got off his lap. Now that she had her usual demeanor back, she looked to him and thought. "Now where are you gonna sleep? In your room or in here? I certainly have the room."
Luke, being out cold, was being dragged back to his room by his foot by a few maids. There was a trail of drool as the maids tried their hardest to move him.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri raised his eyebrow at her just before she got up. He kept his smile as he pushed himself to his feet. "Since it isn't one of my goals to die, I think I'll return to my own room and avoid being decapitated by your brother," he said in a joking tone that was new to him.

Lunora flashed an amused smiled. A smile Demetri had always wanted. "I can beat my mean old big brother up." she said, going over to him, giving him a playful smirk. "Or is little Demi afraid of the big bad wolf?" she said ever so teasingly and playfully. She was a very cruel tease. Didn't help Demetri could almost see right into her cleavage. She had a nice rack though....

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri raised his eyebrow as Lunora smirked and came closer. "Me? Scared of your brother?....Wait, did you just call me Demi?" he said, crossing his arms and trying to keep his eyes concentrated above her neckline... A very hard act to keep up with, he might add. "My name is not Demi."

Lunora smirked more, getting right up close to him, making it harder not to just stare straight down at her rack. "Oh I know your name is Demetri, but Demi sounds much better. Besides, it makes you sound cuter." she smiled before backing off him and going to her bath. Except for the contact with Demetri, she felt so gross. Probably all the sweat.

"Lost in this world of love and war." Demetri stood stock still, not moving until Lunora disappeared behind her screens to her bath. Shaking himself, he shook his head, smiling a little, and he pushed his hair from his eyes, then left the room quietly. He paused for a moment outside her door, a broad smile on his face and his eyes somewhat closed. Then he continued down the hall as silently as possible, since it was late. He could see a little puddle on the ground, and he tilted his head as he walked past, but just shrugged and kept going. When he reached his room, he walked in, and shut the door, staring into the darkened room like he had just a night ago. Except the night before, he'd been absolutely depressed. Now, he was elated.

Lunora slipped into her bath and just smiled to herself. Sure the teasing was fun. It was actually fricking hilarious. But there was something else there. Something lurking in her heart. But it wasn't that twisting rusty old dagger. Something else. Something with wings. She placed two fingers to her lips and smiled softly. She could still feel the kiss on her lips. "This will be most entertaining..."
Luke had been managed to be tucked into bed before he woke and sat straight up, scaring the maids, a few fainting then and there. He looked around with a serious face. "I sense a disturbance in the force..."
