As Richard followed Tails he saw Shadow, Rogue and the chao and heard the conversation "you...devoured your kin?" he asked "why would you do that?"

Richard got into ready position but he never fought against guns before "got a plan Tails?" he asked

Richard looked at Shadow and the others when Tails spoke and looked at Tails only to notice that he was gone, he looked back at the gang and ran after Tails "TAILS WAIT UP!!" he called out through the tunnel. Once he made it out he looked around looking for Tails "TAILS!" he called out. Ali woke up with a start when she heard her dad and looked over to she him out "dad?" she asked

Richard almost jumped when he heard Tails and looked at him in concern "Dark chao" he said. Ali kept her eyes across the lake to see her dad talking to Tails "IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO TELL US GET OVER HERE!!" she yelled out
