There on the door was the man's name, Spencer Farstrike. Inside he was still knocked out from the sedatives, looking strangely peaceful inside all the bandages. About the only part of his body not bandaged were his head right arm and left leg, there was a clip board on his bed that had all his injuries on it, it mentioned the two foot piece of rebar that had been sticking in his chest, which had narrowly missed his heart and left lung.

Ren walked in after Alanna. He looked his friend over. The bandages that almost covered his whole body were luckily not that bloody so he wouldnt die from blood loss. He looked at the chart but couldnt understand anything but the huge chunk of rebar in his chest.

After a while Spencer's eyes started to open, unfocused at first, but as he moved them around the room they started to clear. It looked as if he was in a recovery room, good that ment the surgery was over, or he was dead. His eyes fell next on Ren, the guy he saw as a sort of rival but also as a friend and gave a slight smile and a thumbs up with his right hand. And finally he saw Alanna, stark naked, standing right before him, he blinked and said, "Okay am I dead becasue this sure looks like heaven to me."

Spencer sighed, "I must seem so useless right now, getting swatted aside like some annoying flie." He said, "I knew I should have trained to use a sword, I just thought I would never need it..." He said, "To make it up to you, when I can get out of this damned bed I'll get you whatever you want."

Ren seeing as now that Spencer was back and on his way to recovery they could be rivals again. Nah. You dont need to get me anything, you should rest up. That big thing in your chest wont be better anytime soon. Since I didn't immediately come to your rescue I'll get you what ever you want He said trying to make Spencer look bad in front of Alanna. He took a few steps towards the head of the bed, crouched down and whispered silently enough so that even with Alanna's demon ears she couldn't hear. You're to late now. Me and Alanna are together. You snooze you lose. Not much anything like heaven now eh? He grinned.

Spencer motioned Ren over, pointing to his thoat and shaking his head, indicating that he could talk right now.

Alanna walked up behind Ren and, taking him by the collar and the rim of his pants, hefted him up and out of the room, "your bragging about something you didn't do isn't helping... we all know Mikomi is the one who beat the demon.' she said, and closed the door with a slam.

(Umm I never even mentioned the battle with Zaron. All I said was that Ren would do stuff for him because he went over to Alanna instead of Spencer and Spencer was left dying.)

(Yeah but it does matter. My character never even bragged about anything really. All he said was, Nah. You dont need to get me anything, you should rest up.
