Cottonpaw lept out of the way and reared up on her hind legs. She clawed at Whitepaw and hissed, but she was smiling the whole time.
"I'll get you, you...you worthless ThunderClan enemy!" she said. She was just playing, but she relized what she had said a bit too late, and hoped Icestar hadn't heard.

Bronzepaw limped over to Cottonpaw and mewed calmly, "We saw worthless ShadowClan enemy in ThunderClan."

 One song, gloryIcestar sighed in relief. "That's good to hear." she mewed, then turned to Desterttail. "Greystar will have enough on her paws with those two..." her tail flickered over to Whitepaw and Cottonpaw. "...I need not trouble her anymore. We will go. Bronzepaw! Let's go home." she turned to flank Bronzepaw's side and walked at her pace to the entrance. Without looking back she mewed, "If you wish to escort us, do it now." one song, before I go...

Bronzepaw began to limp back, wondering what her punishment would be. She layed her ears flat, and walked on the territory.
Darkfoot waved her tail in goodbye, and walked back in her den. While walking, her foot fell in a hole in her den. It was perfectly apprentice-sized. "So this is where you were hiding." She mewed, her whiskers twitchign with amusement.

Deserttail hurredly trotted up to stand beside Icestar. "Darkfoot, keep an eye on those two will you?" She looked at the limping Bronzepaw woriedly. If they were attacked by something, it would be very difficult to fight it off.

One song, glory "Very well. Let's go." she mewed and helped her apprentice over ShadowClan's territory. Once they reached their side of the border, she turned to face Deserttail. "Thank you for your understanding. We saved a lot of bloodshed today. But," she looked at Bronzepaw. "...we can make it from here. Goodbye, Deserttail. Tell Greystar I said hello." she mewed and turned to walk back to camp with Bronzepaw.

Deserttail nodded and headed back to her own camp. Then she promptly collapsed with relief by the fresh kill-pile. That was nerve racking. I could barely breathe with Icestar right next to me. WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Thank goodness Icestar couldn't tell. I should probably move now. Deserttail got up and moved to the warrior's den. She found her nest and promptly fell asleep.

Cottonpaw was about to say something back to Bronzepaw when Icestar called her. She watched them go in silence, but once they were out of the clan she yowled in triumph.
"They're gone!" she said to Whitepaw. "I guess some good came out of that after all. If we hadn't gone to ThnderClan, Icestar wouldn't have come here and found Bronzepaw."
Batfur could relax a bit more now that Icestar and Bronzepaw were gone. He saw Deserttail go into the warrior's den and he followed, being careful not to wake her up.
Wildpelt sighed and put her head on her paws, watching the clan. She felt very lonely. She had no friends. She was the age of an apprentice but trained as a warrior, and it seemed no one liked her. She could see Mistycloud through the holes in the nursery wall, and frowned, wondering if that would ever be her.

Cottonpaw stared at the ground.
"Well-she would ha-I..." she stummbled over her words before finally yelling, "YES!" She looked up, embarassed. "Oops. I mean, yes, she would have just stayed in her camp without me and Whitepaw to motivate her."

Deserttail started awake when she heard a loud 'YES' comeing from the center of the camp. She blinked, her eyes half open, and then set her head down to fall back asleep.

How come she was aloud to leave so easily, mother? Copperkit asked after Icestar and Bronzepaw left.
He walked back in to where his sister slept and curled up next to her, but watched Dawnflower, curiously.
