Well heck, now I feel kind of bad. I got my tubes tied. We only wanted two though because we knew we only wanted (and could only handle) two. One of my nurses who I had grown very close to actually cried! She had known me since I was pregnant with my son and we really got to know each other well. We probably won't see each other again now though because I only saw her at the doc's office because she is constantly working. She and the other nurses all agreed that we were making a huge mistake because our babies were so beautiful. Oh well, the grass is always greener as they say.
We had considered adopting my sister's son when she found out she was pregnant but she has (thankfully) shocked everyone and turned out to be an okay mom (so far). She still needs to work on maturing and stuff but so do most of the peeps I know including me. She just moved out on her own for the first time so we'll see how that goes.
The hardest part of having kids right now is that almost none of my friends have kids so it is hard for them to understand. I can't stay up till 5 am every morning. I can't go out to eat every day, randomly take road trips, etc... Some day they might understand if and when they have kids but by then mine will be older and perhaps out of the house already so I'll be a little more free to do things. Oh well, it all works out I guess. Most of my friends have adjusted to our schedule so that has really cemented their commitment to our friendships.
Wow, sorry this post is so long! I am finally in a better mood and can't seem to stop typing. For now I'm off to get my daily chances and such.

Go tell it on the mountain Craftymama! *raises hands in air* Preach it! lol hehehe All of my friends are single too. However they know that I just cant go just anywhere just like that. They are fond of coming over though and spending time not only with my but my two little ones as well. I kinda wish though I knew someone around their age and Mine so we could go out on play dates and things like that.

eek woooow it was kinda hard but I think I managed to catch up on the convo. I want 6 kids like my mom! lol I can do it, if my grandmother could handle 12 kids and my mom 6 I can do it too! I've always wanted 6 kids, its fun having someone to talk too and play with at home and yes even fight with! I'm kinda in the middle what with being the 3rd of 6, there would have been 7 of us but my lil sister died at 6 months, it was 5 years ago but its still hard cuz I always wanted a lil sister. Oh well I hope I can have kids to make my dream come true. I would follow family tradition and name all my kids with an L name lol 4laugh
Oh an yes I had a wonderful time at the Stroka Concert and tonight is the UMB Soldiers Concert I can't wait!!! xp

Too bad you live so far away Joe. You seem like a fun guy with a great family.
Lana we kind of have a name tradition too even though its unofficial. Most of the people in our family have a name or nickname that ends in y or i and sounds like E such as Becky, Kelli, Kali, etc. It gets a bit confusing when we all get together but its funny so its all good. I could never handle six kids but I have a special place in my heart for people who can and aren't on welfare.

I just did the stupidest thing...I swear! I bought a big pan...really big, and this incredibly heavy shower curtain liner. I know what you're thinkin, how can that be heavy right? Well just trust me it is...anyway so like a moron I went to get it out of my car and it was in the back seat and I reached in through the front seat and my hand got a charlie horse and I sorta fell forward and got wedged between the seats from front to back...I dunno if you can actually break a boob or not but I feel like I did! gonk rofl
