Lady Pyre Aeolusis Wow perfect timing for getting sick, I have 4 days of no school to be miserable. Had to go to urgent care because my knees were killing me with intense pain. What I found out though was the mild fever that I had wasn't mild, it was a 107+ degree temperature, with high blood pressure. Had to have a flu shot to bring down my fever, now just fighting with the insurance to get my prescriptions filled. I have health insurance but I can't get any prescriptions, ******** wonderful!! stressed How the hell do you mistake a 107 degree fever for "mild"!? Do you need me to send you a thermometer? Take better care of yourself, man! It felt "mild" to me, I've never had a bad fever since I was a kid. The sad thing was I hadn't had a thermometer. The last one we had were the glass mercury filled ones. But since my flu/fever we now have one again. I hadn't realized it at the time but I was delirious and was hallucinating. That was fun. Not. But I'm much better now. Still have a residual cough though, mostly just annoying, however the week before last I had a cough fit so bad I hurt my diaphragm; thank goodness that's gone. Other then that School as been busy as hell. I was dumped by my girlfriend because of her emotional problems she didn't want to drag me in. And I have been more open and happier with myself dressing as a woman at school simply being my-full-self (not the reason for the breakup, she embraced it and encouraged it). Half of my classes I study for, I do as a woman; the other half I don't feel comfortable enough to do so, as they're prominently jocks, and homophobic men. I need the classes so I'm having to push through to complete the class.

A Fatal Fairytale Lady Pyre Xan - I might have to hit you up for the Beauty and the Beast arrangement. I lost it and going through the art thread sounds terrifying. gonk Wil - Really? I think this is the second season. Third season! R-r-r-Rupaul's Drag Race! Start your engines~ I think the missing link was the different level of cable package at my boyfriend's home versus my mother's. Came home to find I'd have to pay extra just to watch the On Demand episodes. xp

If I don't get this promotion after it was pretty much promised to me, I will kill someone. Most likely whoever they give it to or the other full-time girl in the department, because I am sick of her throwing fits when I tell her to do something. I'm your senior, just shut up and do it.
edit: what, Gaia, no love for Android?

Why'd I think the religion subforum would be useful? dramallama Wil would've This year for Lent, I am abstaining from alcohol until Easter. I think of how children are often encouraged to give up soda pop or candy. Giving up a recreational food or drink allows time to think about the nature of it as something you want on occassion versus need on occasion. I prefer a number of liquor varieties neat (and no, not artificially flavored), and while I do not have a problem with it, it's the habit of how I drink on occasion that could use reflection. Now to have fun planning how to use up that half bottle of red wine in my boyfriend's fridge (he doesn't like to drink it). Good thing it's still soup and stew season. whee

Putting a copy of bejeweled on the website for pokemon is like saying, "Hey Billy, ease up on that crack cocaine a little. Here, try booting some black tar heroin for awhile instead."

Ugh, I'm the queen of thinking other people can read my signals. Why can't I just come out and say s**t? Inevitably, the only thing that happens is they go about their day, oblivious, and I sit around with my feelings hurt because they didn't figure it out. At what point in my life did I decide I was surrounded by detectives and psychics?

Hey Pasta edit: what, Gaia, no love for Android? That was my first thought on that too.
Android's just not cool enough. Or we're waiting on Bildeau to make it.

I thought maybe I could struggle through the French translation of Cantarella, since the English company went under, but noooo. Can't even find volume 10 in French. Whoever licensed it there must have kicked the bucket even before Go! Comi. Argh.
Man, I am still so pissed over this. Best series I've found in years and it had to be picked up by some little upstart company who can't keep its s**t together. It would have been nice if, you know, there had at least been some notice from them that they might go under, but noooooooooooooo. Their website just disappeared one day. Pre-orders for volume 11 did't even get pulled - just thrust into limbo. If they're not going to publish any more, they could at least, I dunno, sell rights to Viz? -_-
Reminds me of a fun experience in the 90's where an author just got "writer's block" during the last novel of the series and the release date got pushed back a month for years. I was pretty sure she'd died, but now she's back. Yay! Oh... but she's writing shitty add-ons for a series she finished 20 years ago instead of finishing the one she left hanging, all while hinting she might disappear again. ******** psycho b***h.
Am I obsessive enough to try to learn German or Japanese to finish this series? If I am, I better go with the Jap, in case it gets dropped in Germany, too. asdfjk

So, the St. Patrick's Day event revolves entirely around quoting or being quoted by a bot. Way to discourage that botting, Gaia. rolleyes
Edit: And while I'm green, my posts are worth about 100 gold? I don't think anybody else has noticed yet, since it isn't flying around the event forum, but... *sigh* So much for the Valentine's Day goldsink. sad
