Lyori looked up, hearing a boy come in. Wow... He looked so much like Kaitani... Except his hair was long. And rather pretty... "U-Um... Thanks for bringing me in here. W-Who are you?"

Drais smiled at Lyori and handed her the plate of bread and fruit. "My name's Drais. I'm an ice dragon from around here. Right now, all the other dragons are down south. They're not very happy with me right now, so they stuck me here on guard duty," he said, smiling at her. They were only shunning him temporarily, and only because he'd suggested forcing Kaitani to come back home. They had been very offended by how he suggested it, so they'd decided his punishment was to stay home for the mating season. Not much of a punishment, but it hurt.

Lyori nodded some, taking the food. She hadn't realized how hungry she was because before long all the food was gone. She must have been very hungry from the flight. That and almost passing out and freezing to death might have played a part there. "It's good to meet you Drais. I'm Lyori." she said, nestling closer to the fire, still quite cold. She was built for the tropical heat of bamboo forests in the far east. Not the freezing caves of the just as far north.

Drais didn't say anything as Lyori ate, only stoking the fire. "So, Lyori, what brings you to the north? I hope you weren't chased up here."

Lyori shook her head some, sighing. "I-I came looking for someone... I-I thought he might have come up here... We.. didn't get good news back home... He said he was going for a walk, but then he never came back. So I came looking."

"Anybody I know?" asked Drais, not expecting an answer. He knew a few other dragons around the way, and if she thought he'd come up there, he was probably an ice dragon. He smiled a little. It was clear that she loved whoever this was.

Lyori smiled some at the memory of the dragon she loved. "He's an ice dragon. His name's Kaitani. Even though he's an ice dragon, I'm still worried about him..."

Drais was surprised, and he tilted his head. "Well he's around here somewhere. I saw him earlier, before I found you, but I haven't seen him since."

Lyori looked up hopefully. "R-Really?! Y-You've seen him? C-Could you tell me where he is? O-Or at least tell him I'm here?" she asked, rubbing her eye some. All this cold was making her sluggish, which made her sleepy. She couldn't hold in a yawn.

Drais smiled a little and nodded towards a warm-looking bed to the side of the cave. "How about you take a nap while I go looking for him? I'm sure by the time you wake up I'll have found at least a trace of him." [OOC:] Dude, yesterday I got the coolest hat ever at an antique store. It was like a flapper girl's hat from the 20's or 30's with these long quail feathers sticking out of it. I wore it to a Wendy's

Lyori looked to the bed and smiled, nodding some. "Thank you You're a kind person Drais." The imperial dragon got up and laid down in the ed, deciding to rest. The bed was so warm and soft, it put the girl right to sleep.
[OOC:] I have a pair of heel boots now. They raise me up like 2-3 inches. I feel important.

[OOC:] Heels are fun like that. How have you been in the time I've been MIA? Drais smiled as Lyroi went right to sleep. Before he followed a complex series of ice tunnels that sealed themselves randomly behind him, forming new tunnels. Finally, he came to a prison fashioned out of fire that was encased with ice facing him, but blazed facing the prisoner. Who was none other than Kaitani, and the reason Drais was in so much trouble with the clan at the moment. The other ice dragon lay unconscious, blood on the corner of his mouth and his wrists tied together tightly.

Lyori slept in he bed so fitfully that she didn't sleep long. Soon she was completely well rested! But... Where had Drais gone? The imperial got out of the bed and wrapped a blanket around her. She then went looking for the ice dragon, soon coming across some tunnels. Should she go in?

Drais was shoving a tray of food into the cage for Kaitani. Not good food, but enough to keep the other dragon alive. He didn't want to kill his cousin, just make him suffer. Kaitani chose that moment to grab Drais' wrist and shove it against the flames. The other ice dragon roared, before changing into his dragon form. Again, he was nearly identical to Kaitani, only with black eyes instead of blue. Kaitani changed as well, and Drais smirked in his form. He could smell Lyori coming closer, and he quickly cast a spell on Kaitani, turning the other dragon's eyes black, as well, without the other dragon realizing. Kaitani could smell Lyori, too, and he growled lowly, his eyes piercing Drais.

Lyori soon found her way out of the caves and into the presence of two ice dragons in heir dragon forms. She swallowed hard, looking between the two. Was one of them Kaitani? Or Drais? What should she do? She whimpered a little, looking between the reptiles more.
