Tora walked up to the teahouse and saw Shagatsu asleep outside in the warm sun. She smiled at him sweetly and sat down; quietly, as to not disturb him.

Shagatsu turned over and opened his eyes to see Tora smiling sweetly at him. He gave her a warm smile in return and sat up next to her. "Hello darling," He said while still keeping a smile.

Tora's stomach flip-flopped and blood rushed to her cheeks in a blush. He always did have that power over me, she thought. "I-I'm sorry.... Did I wake you?" she asked, still blushing.

Tora blushed a deep crimson. Something beautiful? Did he still feel that way about her? "I- I've been okay," she smiled, though sadly. "How about yourself? How's the shrine?" she asked.

"Isn't that the truth," she said pointedly, rolling her eyes. "It makes it worth while if you've got someone to spend it with, though...," she trailed off, just above a whisper. She caughed and played it off by clearing her throat. "But, anyway, that's great about your shrine! My Cherry Blossom garden is doing well, too," she smiled. "I can't wait until the first snow...," she said with a dreamy sigh.

"Yeah," she smiled. "I look at it as killing off the old and starting new again. So many people hate winter because it kills everything, and there's no life. But under that blanket of white are new things just waiting to bloom!"

"It's... ah... about us." Tora blushes and turns away. "I- I still have... feelings for you, Shagatsu-san." And here she faultered, getting choked up on her words.

Tora drew in her breath in shock. Her heart raced. "I... um... honestly? I just... I don't think... it wasn't love. Hirose-kun c-came at a time when I needed him most. He was there for me when I needed him most... and he... it just wasn't love. I wanted it to be, but all I could think about... was you." She swallowed hard. Tora swooned slightly, becoming light-headed. She leaned forward and lowered her head, weeping silently.
