Kaitani got up and nodded at Searan, who took off, knowing the two dragons would follow. I suppose we have to go, now, the ice dragon said to his friend, nudging her back.
Diablo raised his eyebrows. "Which ones?"

Lyori sighed and got up as well. She didn't want to leave, but alas they had to. So the imperial dragon got back to her feet, stretching before getting airborne.
Myra thought for a moment. "Well my mom for one. And the fighting teachers. I'm related to them."

Kaitani took off with Lyori, following along behind Searan.
Diablo nodded. "And though they may be tough, I hardly think they're dangerous enough to possibly destroy a civilization."

Lyori flew close to Kaitani. Though she began to wonder if they were in some sort of trouble.
Myra sighed a little. "Well there goes my attempt at trying to comfort you..."

Kaitani landed after Searan did, and stood in the yards of the castle, waiting for Lyori. Jethrow was waiting in his study and he watched as the two dragons flew in with a smile. The two had clearly found love in each other, and he didn't want to have to drag them into this.
Diablo shook his head and smiled. "It was gallant, though. Unfortunately for you, you have a nice family."

Lyori landed as well, but she changed too early and fell right into Kaitani's arms. She smiled and blushed a little, getting her feet on the ground.
Myra sighed a little, but she smiled. "Well... After this, would you like to take a walk?"

[OOC:] Just a heads up I'm going to Michigan for Thanksgiving week, so I will be limited on internet time. I'll try to post, though! Kaitani had changed just before Lyori did and easily caught her, smiling as she blushed. Once they were both upright, Searan led them to Jethrow's office where the wizard had them sit down and he gestured for Ghost to recount her version of the events the three had witnessed.
Diablo smiled back and stood. "As long as you're the one showing me around. I haven't had time to explore yet," he said.

Lyori followed along with Kaitani to Jethrow's office and sat down. As she listened to Ghost, she began to feel very self-conscious. And quite responsible.
Myra laughed softly and got to her feet. She then took his hand and led him out and began to give him a tour of the town.

[OOC:] Thanks Jethrow sighed and ran his fingers through his hair as Ghost finished. He really needed to stop stressing over situations like these. "However, we have heard this vision three different ways. There is no guarantee that you two are the objects of it."
Kaitani took Lyroi's hand as he watched her expression go sour. He looked at Jethrow as the wizard spoke, and sighed in relief. If there was a chance it wasn't them, then clearly it wouldn't be them. He wouldn't let that happen. And he knew what he had to do to make sure of that.

Lyori nodded a little to what the wizard was saying. She gripped Kaitani''s hand more, wanting to be close to him and have some comfort. This wasn't going to bode well, and she wanted to stay close to Kaitani.

"I think I need...some fresh air," Kaitani said, and Jethrow nodded in approval. The ice dragon stood up, kissing Lyori's forehead, and left the office. Then he took off running, until he was out of the castle. He shifted as quickly as possible and flew into the air. there was one place he knew he'd be safe, and he headed north to the ice caves where he wouldn't be followed. Lyori wouldn't be able to stand the cold, and Searan couldn't navigate them well enough because his wings were weak against the wind.

Lyori soon excused herself as well. After a few hours, she tried to find Kaitani. She looked and looked, but couldn't find him anywhere. She asked a few students, but they said they hadn't seen him either. She panicked and ran outside, transforming as well. She'd search for him. But where would he go? She decided to risk it and fly north. She wasn't going to leave him alone, nor did she want to be alone herself. Ah, how love was so blinding, especially to the young imperial dragon.
After hours of flying, she was exhausted, freezing into the blizzard she had so bravely flown into to find her new love. But she was soon forced to land and curl up in the snow, trying to stay warm. But poor Lyori was exhausted, sleep was taking her quickly, and there was no one in the barren snowy wasteland to help her.

The ice caves of the north held the clans of ice dragons. However, as it was mating season for the clans, the dragons were down south. Save for one particularly interesting ice dragon. He'd been shunned from the clans long ago, not quite as long ago as Kaitani had been lost. He was Kaitani's cousin, Drais. He bore a remarkable similarity to Kaitani, and when he caught the scent of his cousin in the ice caves, he was almost elated to find that he might have some dragon interaction. When he came across his cousin, the other dragon was curled up sleeping, and he decided to leave his cousin be. However, eventually, he smelled something strange. Another dragon...
Drais left the caves and soon came across an imperial dragon with shining gold scales, shivering in the snow. Quickly, he managed to get her across his back, and he brought her inside the warm caves, even going so far as to shift into human form and creating a fire that way for her.

Lyori woke a while later, but she was warm. She was still in dragon form, still shivering a little, but the fire helped. She cracked one of her eyes open to look around some. She found herself in a cave with a nice roaring fire. How did she get here? Lyori changed back to her human form to conserve warmth and get closer to the fire. She then began to wonder where the person was who had done this for her, as they seemed to be out at the moment.

Drais came through the entrance of the cave with some food he'd managed to rummage up. "You're awake!" he said, smiling at her. He flicked some hair out of his eyes. That had always been the difference between he and Kaitani. Drais wore his hair long, and Kaitani wore his short. That was the only notable difference between the two cousins. Otherwise, they could be twins.
