Honestly I find OP more interesting overall than Naruto or Bleach. Naruto has done a better job with staying interesting with each story arc but OP to me has done the best job with showing character growth. I mean it doesn't have the demon/ hollow to act as Dues Ex Machina for every time the main character is fighting someone stronger. Also every single character in OP has lost a fight before.
They may come back to triumph but it's nice to see them lose and have to get more strength. Hell recently despite powering up the characters lost multiple fights. Where as Naruto there aren't really any losses. Naruto vs. Sasuke he lost sure, and Sasuke vs Itachi the first time. But overall the main character doesn't lose. Bleach has quasi-losses at best but then in a very short amount of time Ichigo or whoever else is able to beat the opponent. There's just this sense of if they lose it was because they were limited.
OP has done a good job showing that people lose because others are stronger and has even had a few complete defeats of the main characters, those ones where it wasn't circumstance but a good old fashioned whooping by someone superior.

Like serious wolf... I'm just asking for Junk I'm not asking for a 500k Item...you seriously over did it there buddy. xd, Also I wasn't begging more or less telling anyone who wanted to listen, to give me their trash and junk items...you go out of your way to tell me no on behalf of the other members of the guild, personally just say no and that will be that.
Don't explain How "Telling" someone to give something is begging... it's separated by the word, GIVE instead of WANT, Some what mean the same but in a different manner of speech..
good day to you sir~!
Don't ask for anything in this manner (a sig is fine). I'll tell you know, any more begging likely WILL result in a ban. This isn't the place for it.

Unfortunatly, all I've really seen of OP is the 4kids dub. I stopped watching half way through the Arabasta Arc, then saw it again (this time by Funimation) somewhere around the Skypeia Arc.
I can see what you're saying about Naruto and Bleach, well, mainly Bleach. There were a couple of fights that were a net loss for Naruto and the gang, such as the 3rd Hokage vs. Naruto battle, and the parts in Shippuden where Pein (SPOILER ALERT) blows up Konoha and kills Jiraiya.
The manga is better than the anime for OP though the anime puts some things in perspective if you've already read the manga.
As for your points, the 3rd versus Orochimaru was a loss for the village but even then the whole I take your arms thing was sort of a sacrifice thing. The pein point is exactly what I was talking about regarding the demon also
Because they all got revived.

Well, it's not like the writer could have let the entire village get nuked without any survivors. Instead of driving Naruto forward, it'd probably put him into a super-depression or something.
Most of the deaths in Naruto tend to push the characters forward at least, so when they really lose, and die, there's some sort of meaning behind it (usually in their last words), and the message encourages the rest of the Naruto gang to do better.
At least the series didn't go into the Harry Potter Zone, you know, where she killed off every character you liked over the span of the last book O.O'
edit: I can't say I've really ever seen a series with a good medium, but it sounds like OP might be one.
o__o X Player owes Y player in this guild 20k Ryo :3 Heheheh, and if you thought I was joking about that... Then you should've taken that final bet to clear it :3

lol yeah it seems there are alot of people who get this sudden burst of power before they enter battle... of course with sora it made since after all he said he was training at least... but with den a party is hardly seal speed fortifying XD;;
