"You have yet to earn anything more from me." Jacob countered. It was obvious that he was holding himself back from out right losing his temper. His features growing stern as he did everything possible to keep himself back. More so when Saphree turned his back to him that simply ticked him off more so.
"Watch it, Saphree. One in your condition shouldn't talk in such a manner. I may be younger and smaller then you but I certiantly have enough power to simply snap you in half."

'Foolish human...' Jacob spoke softly a small grin tugging at his lips. "If I didn't have an open mind I wouldn't be residing in a place full of your species now would I? For me to do such a thing requires for me to have a great amount of trust towards your species that resides here. So don't judge me so damn quickly, Saphree."
Eyes diverting towards the direction in which the sudden gun fire rose from. That was never a good sign here in Black Amber especially during the night. As far as Jacob knew everyone should be in their shelters claiming sleep. Then again he was out here and so was Saphree so that could be very wrong indeed. His attention then drew back to Saphree.
"If you require sleep there is an Inn not far from where you stand. If you require some healin' then I suggest you go to the doctors house. Though do your best to be on your best manners, Saphree. The mans' lovely woman needs her rest seeing how she is caring for a child." Jacob turned to begin leaving through the passage of the trees.

"I can find my way out of the forest, but I would think it most troublsome for myself to locate an area I have never been to." he saw her blatant distressed reaction to his name, but did not care to explain at the moment. If she could still work then he saw litte problem. But the question was, where did she stay? He'd need to find that out, later. He didn't like having to resort to force of magic or might when there were simpler aternatives.

Glances over at him her hands being placed on the back of her head with elbows pointing up towards the heavens. Leaning back on the ball of her right foot giving her a leaning sort of position. The loose strands of her hair cascading over her eyes while brushing lightly along the smooth curve of her cheek.
"Then I suggest you follow the Men's Dorms are not that far from the outskirts of the forest." She answered softly before turning her attention back to the path before starting to amble off not bothering to glance back to see if he was to follow her or not.

Star's eyes where now normal as he walked the forest after he found a spring to drink from. He wasnt paying atention to any people he heard simply listening to the forest itself. Not caring where he was headed Star had walked several yards in front of Reaper between the trees. He seemed liked a phantom that wondered the forest as he was somewhat far off but close enough you could tell it was him. He continued on for awhile before finding a large tree to rest under*

"Stupid Idjit." There were several other words that followed, but no one would be able to understand the language they were in. Her forehead was placed in her palm as the figure slid against the tree. Swirls of green, not unlike Malachite tumbled around in the young woman's eyes before she knocked her head back against the tree.
"You get a map, you let it get rained on. You lose your tourguide and now you've got a blister on your ankle. Batting a thousand today darlin." She was obviously talking to herself and rather pissed at the same time. The lavender cloak wrapped tighter around her slim body as she felt the few drops of rain fall from between the branches of the tree.
"God only know how many miles from civilization and you give your food to that family of raccoons. That will teach you..." She continued to grumble in this vein as she waited under the tree for the rain to pass. She had to find a place to stay tonight, she was about starved.

Finally, the rain stopped. Kalin was beginning to think that it would never stop. It was lucky that her cloak was waterproof. "Thank the Spirits". She muttered softly as she pulled herself to a standing position by leaning on the tree. "Now to find food and shelter for the night." Yeah right, like I'm going to manage that as lost as I am. Hope springs eternal.
The clouds were beginning to break and she could see the faint traces of light from the sun. "Come on mister sunbeam, just a wee bit more so I can find my way...." She talked, coaxing the sun as if she could, even going so far as to wave her hand towards it. She lifted back the hood and the sunlight glanced off the bright red curls atop her head, giving her a faint angelic appearance if a bit messy.
"Alright, which way now...?"

There wasn't a lot to hear of the figureing coming through the trees, though it might stick out a bit. It's feet were not far from silent though, oddly enough a bare foot figure in a tight t-shirt and jeans, a slim but strong shouldered boy late in his teens, muscular but sliding gracefully in his steps instead of strutting or marching. For one so fit, perhaps a pale skin tone would have been unexpected at best, but it complemented the light blue of the narrow but relaxed eyes. Oh, yeah, and his hair was a snowy white in color.

Kalin turned as she heard the sound. A robber or just another wanderer. It was a matter of debate whether it would be smart to approach the person or not. So instead, Kalin ran her fingers down the runes on her staff and called out. "Hallo?" Bold as brass was Kalin, that's for sure. A petite woman going to face the spirits knew what with only a staff and her own knowledge.

"Hello." Rivven said back calmly, looking with a touch of curiosity at the woman standing out among the trees. She didn't look familiar, not that he knew a lot of the people around, but he stopped to take a closer look for a moment.
"You're wet." he stated as if surprised just mildly. "What are you doing out around here in weather like this if you don't have anything to keep yourself dry with? I imagine that cloak helped some but you'll catch ill if the water's soaked through it."

"That generally happens when it's been raining." One eyebrow quirked at the statement by mister obvious. "And the cloak is charmed so it won't soak through." One hand went to her hip as the other fidgeted with the staff.
"I'm hoping by the fact that you're here, that there is civilization nearby."

"There's a town just a few minutes walk..." he turned and pointed, "...that way. Not as many people there as used to be though." he looked at her askew a moment, obviously trying to make up his mind on something.
"I'm going to assume you're not from around here and could use a place to stay the night at least." he said, raising a hand idly. Inconspiciously, her hair would slowly start drying, and the rain droplets slide more quickly off her cloak.

"You could say that." She shook her hair to dry it, only to realize it was a lot drier then it should have been. "Neat trick. Water mage?" She ran her fingers through the tumble of curls and looked the way he pointed. "Is it a ghost town or something?"
