Ariku sipped her tea and listened to the conversation. She sighed a little and looked into her cup.

[Hey Ariku! Your the 4,500 post!]
Hearing a sigh Yokohana looked over at the other geisha, "Your okay...? I'm sorry...I don't think that I have ever gotten your name..." She told her faceing her.

Ariku looked to Yokohana, "Ariku." she said and smiled.
She then looked to Shagatsu, "I'm okay. I guess I'm just a little homesick." she said thinking of her friends and family.

Yokohana nodded to the girl named Ariku, then hid behind her cup, slight embaressment from feeling suddenly akward around everyone. She knew that a geisha shouldn't feel like that, but she couldn't help it.

Shagatsu nodded a response of understanding before turning back to his table He leaned back in his chair and placed his chin upon his fist. Many nights had passed in this teahouse, but the emotions within always remained the same. Fleeting happines for but a moment; joy that ends with dispair, rage, sadness. He examined the diamond, heart, club and spade on each of his knucles while thinking about all the people that had passed before him. Mizu.. Popo, Tora, Arikku, Omny, Meldisse... so many faces and personalities that had come and gone.
"I wish for once something would be constant in my life. The only thing that never leaves me is my shrine. I guess I should be thankful for Tora and Arikku also..." He said with a half hearted grin. "I wish also I wasn't the jester, something to entertain, I wish I could be human, taken seriously for who I am." He chuckled at himself. "Wishes are fishes, so great the sea."

Yuri sat quietly watching Shagatsu in his moment of thought but she thought it best to keep out , for it did not concern her at all. she took off the necklace left by her mother and stared at it in the palm of her hand. sure it was only a tiny vial but it was important to her probably worth more than the kimono on her back or even the lifestyle she'd gained itself. this small vial was her life the reasoning behind her very name. She let out a sigh placed the vial in her obi and stared down at the woodgrain of the table.

Ariku nodded at Shagatsu.
"What a nostalgic moment..." she laughed a little. "Shagatsu-san, I still remember my first night in the tea house with you and everyone else. As well as the time at the shrine when you gave me that sword." she looked at the table and smiled sadly. "Those are two of my happiest times here."
She paused a moment and then looked to Tora "Plus the day Onee-san let me become a geisha... But, so many people have come and gone... But only a couple of us have stayed for so long.. I wonder how long that will last." she finished feeling a little bad for bringing such a sad thing up.

"haha that sword was a fine example of my craft..." He said with a silent grin, remembering the fine detail he put into it. It took him a moment to snap back to reality. "Im pleased I was in one of your happiest moments.." He said with a chuckle

Ariku smiled.
"Yes Shagatsu-san. You are able to bring life and happiness to any situation." she said looking at him. "But that is a wonderful gift of a jester, right?"

Tora fell silent. She gazed at Shagatsu and a soft smile spread across her lips. They were both so right. So many people had come and gone. She remembered Mizu very well... they were best friends. "You can always count on me to be here...," she said, just above a whisper. Suddenly, she felt warmth spread across her nose and cheaks. Did I say that out loud? she asked herself. She buried her face in her cup. There was no tea left, but she pretended that there was.

Yuri came back to reality and thought it best to get some fresh air for a bit. She smiled and bowed. "I must excuse myself from the tea house for a while, seeing how it is a lovely day outside." She rose from her spot at the table with everyone and bowed again. " I thank you all for your company and look forward to seeing you again." She smiled and slowly made her way to the door where she stepped into her geta and made her way out into the streets.

"Sayonara Yuri-chan." she said and bowed.
She then turned her attention to Tora and smiled. "Glad to hear it Onee-san. Me too. I don't plan on giving up my dream any time soon." she said giving a warm smile.

Yokohana shifted lightly, she was itching to do something, but this was Akiyo's night for memories. She could still remeber the sadness that ran through her when she relized that she was no longer Kaida...She missed that name so much.
She looked into her tea cup and watched the tea slur around withen the porcline cup, the small ripples making her think of the swimming whole she spent so much time with her sister at, or the time she would spend with everyone else when the fire work maker would test his latest creation...
Those wounderful colors and sounds of explosion rang in her memory.

Shagatsu arose and stretched his arms, cracked his back and then his neck before walking outside into the warm sun. He sat on a step and placed his arms on his knees while baking in the hot sunshine.
