i've never seen josh be ruthless, or maybe i'm looking through rose-colored lenses. comedic and badass [see: hoh07], but not ruthless.

I don't do ruthless.
I care too much about letting everyone have their fun to do things like kill off characters unless they're intended to be storyline villains etc which are destined to die anyway.
I also don't do mad. Nobody's really seen me mad. I don't think I've ever seen me mad. I can do harsh, because when people just go out of their way to be annoying for as long as possible they deserve a backhand and a stern talking to...
The day I do ruthless, pray for salvation.
I really can't say anything with certainty except that.

Ya... I have the same problem... I can do harsh and stern and a little peeved... but I can't do the whole "ruthless angry" bit. Almost did once, but I stopped myself

iunno. i don't think i've done mad or crazy well. kinda disenchanted with the whole fighting scene right now, actually.
before i part this mortal coil, i'll command a legion of drummers. mix college band showiness, taiko's boom, and scot [i think] patterns. oh yes.. there will be pyrotechnics.

I just don't do angry. I'm too laid-back to be angry. My characters can be angry, but unless I'm feeling it real bad they're not going to be ruthless angry. Just righteously pissed angry.
Like that time James punched God.

Josh: I lol'd as well. I know what you mean, buddy... but the meanest any of my characters ever got was when Enki flipped out and started killing people. I, also, am just way too laid-back. Hence why I cosplay as Asakura Yoh from Shaman King every year. He's just WAY too much like me for it to not be creepy.

josh> crazy seems overly dramatic for me. like... i try but it feels like i either do too much or not enough to make it believable. so i end up copping out some way or another, trading crazyinsanemad for emo, which i think i've done well enough.
my angry usually ends up being go away or i'll kill you. and for all the times my chars've threatened it... just like me threatening to ban everyone in here, only one person's actually been killed on camera. other times, people just go away and leave my chars to be mad alone to prevent an otherwise looming and bloody fight.
